Commercial Photography is not something we cover a great deal, as we are so busy photographing weddings that we really do not get much time! This job was to capture finished rooms for a local Interior Design and Decoration business run by Paul Walden. Unfortunately, we did not meet Paul in time to do the ‘before’ as well at the ‘finished’ pictures but here’s looking forward to his next project.

Old Bramstonians FC
Great respect can be learnt trying to photograph a different discipline! Many will tell you weddings are like ‘sports action’ however, trying my hand at football photography yesterday (admittedly with an older camera) certainly exposes the challenges. Weddings in general all take place in a fairly small area, football can be anywhere on the pitch and whilst you are looking at the action in the viewfinder the ball suddenly is somewhere else!! I have great respect for sports photographers!
Pictures are of Old Bramstonians, a Witham based team that we sponsor, playing at Stevens Road, Witham.

Portrait in the woods
Great to meet Janna & Stephen for their pre-wedding picture. They brought along their sons Thomas & Jack so we could meet them also ahead of their wedding which will be at Down Hall in afew weeks time.
The picture is a great reminder that portraits do not have to be in a bland studio against a white wall! Children always seem better outdoors.

Wedding Photography for Rebecca & Peter at Spains Hall, Finchingfield
Spains Hall, Finchingfield – We have had the opportunity of meeting Beccs and Pete at Pete’s sister’s Wedding a few years ago, as well as for portrait photographs and Engagement pictures in the meantime. It was a busy but fun morning when David and I arrived at Crest Lodge, Spain’s Hall, Finchingfield, Essex, especially as there were eight Bridesmaids as well as the Bride getting ready! It was lovely to see Katie and Elisha again as we had previously photographed their Weddings. Everybody was ready on time enabling us to take some lovely pictures before setting off for the Church. St. Andrew’s Church, Barnston, was the Church that Bex and Pete wanted to be married in. Bex and Pete were keen to do some pictures after the Church service in the Cornfield opposite the Church, which we did ,and achieved some lovely shots on a beautiful afternoon. On our return to Spains Hall the Guests enjoyed drinks in the Gardens. We photographed the Bride and Groom for a short time, whilst the Guests were being seated for the Wedding Breakfast. Later Bex and Pete wanted some evening pictures around Spains Hall and this resulted in some sunset pictures. A lovely end to the day.
