Mulberry House Wedding Photography for Kirsten & Tarl

Kirsten and Tarl chose us to photograph their Mulberry House wedding. When we arrived first thing on the morning of their Wedding, Kirsten was getting ready, helped by her Mother and sisters.

In between taking a few pictures of Kirsten’s bridal accessories we captured the informal moments of the preparations. Everything was going well which was very good, especially as we had to leave Mulberry house to go to the Church. We had time to take some nice pictures of Kirsten and the family.

St Mary’s Church, Great Parndon

was where Kirsten and Tarl were to be married. The wind had got up as we arrived at the Church but it was still dry. We got on with taking Tarl’s pictures with his Groomsmen before they went inside the Church to get warm and greet the Guests.

Kirsten arrived shortly afterwards and made her way into the Church. Cassie and Ethan, Kirsten and Tarl’s children went first. Being so windy we stayed in the Church for a few pictures after the ceremony. Leaving the Church, Kirsten and Tarl stopped briefly at the Church gates allowing the Guests to throw confetti over them.

Mulberry House Wedding Reception

Once we returned to Mulberry House, the weather started to improve. Whilst the Drinks Reception was going on we took informal pictures. As the Guests continued to socialise we took Kirsten and Tarl around the grounds of Mulberry House for their pictures. A lovely setting with the lake and the bluebells.

During the afternoon we took a mixture of informal pictures and some requested family pictures outside.

The Wedding Breakfast

Later the Wedding Breakfast was held in the Marquee. Spencer Wood was the Magician who entertained everybody during this time. Some great images of everybody enjoying his performance. After the meal, the Speeches followed. Good reactions! Once these were finished the children played outside and we captured the goings on!

Evening Celebrations

Kirsten and Tarl wanted a few pictures of them with Cassie and Ethan at the Wishing Well and around, which we took. Kirsten and Tarl cut their Wedding Cake later and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.

As there was not a sunset today, we took a few pictures of Kirsten and Tarl on the decking outside with the fairy lights. A nice ending to our coverage of Kirsten and Tarl’s lovely Mulberry House Wedding.

Mulberry House Wedding Photography for Lauren & Bodj (aka Jordan)

David and I were really looking forward to the Mulberry House Wedding Photography for Lauren & Bodj’s Wedding. We have known Bodj for many years as he is a very good friend of our son’s. We have known Lauren for a while as well!

We arrived at Mulberry House as it started raining. The weather forecast for the day was not brilliant but as usual we had our plans ready! Lauren was getting ready in the House with all the girls, so off we went off to see them. They were all relaxed, enjoying the preparations. We captured the details, preparations, fun and laughter.

We photographed Lauren’s Wedding Dress and shoes in the bedroom next door as there was more space. We knew that we would be using this room at other times also!

The Groomsmen

David was waiting for Bodj and his Groomsmen to arrive and when they were ready took their pictures. It was raining but not hard enough to stop David from being outside. The men stayed in the porch and on the steps, just in the dry! Pictures finished, Bodj and his Groomsmen went inside greet the Guests.

The girls were now ready for their pictures so we got on with those and had time to take some lovely Bridal portraits of the beautiful Lauren!

The Wedding Ceremony

Once the Wedding Guests made their way over to the Ceremony Room and took their seats, Lauren came downstairs where her Dad was waiting. A proud Father moment!

Justin and Nathan the Ushers escorted the Bridesmaids over to the Ceremony room holding umbrellas! Heather the Co-ordinator helped Lauren walk the short distance to the room making sure she didn’t get wet.

Lauren was escorted up the aisle by her Mum and Dad. Some lovely moments during the Ceremony, great to capture. Following the Ceremony, everyone went back over to Mulberry House. We took some nice pictures as they came out, umbrellas as well! The Reception Drinks were in the Conservatory so everyone socialised there. After a little while we started taking the requested family pictures. With a bit of temporary furniture removal we had enough space. We even managed to do a couple of big group pictures. Unfortunately outside pictures were totally out of the question today but we found many places inside Mulberry House to take Lauren and Bodj’s ‘together’ pictures. Before the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches.

Good Speeches and great reactions. After the meal there was a short time for us to take Lauren and Bodj for a few extra pictures. Although the rain had not completely stopped but we all went outside anyway. It was worth it, making Lauren & Bodj some lovely pictures.

The Evening Reception

Before the cake cutting Lauren & Bodj had time with the evening Guests.

The happy couple then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Everyone else joined them shortly afterwards. Sometime later after we had captured a flavour of the evening, taken a night shot it was time to go. Lauren and Bodj’s Wedding Day was wonderful! A fantastic couple, easy going and a real pleasure to work with. Thank you so much Lauren and Bodj! Congratulations!
