Wedding Photography at Layer Marney Tower for Sarah and Les took place on a lovely summer’s day last year.
Sarah and Les decided to hold their Wedding Ceremony at the lovely Layer Marney Tower. They wanted a short photography coverage just enough to capture the Ceremony and then an hour or so afterwards.
We met Les first at Layer Marney Tower before the Guests arrived. After capturing a couple of pictures of him we took a few informal pictures of the Guests. Sarah arrived shortly afterwards. The Ceremony took place in The Corsellis Room.

Afterwards Sarah and Les with their family and friends enjoyed socialising in the grounds of Layer Marney. Sarah and Les requested a few family pictures which we did. A short walk around Layer Marney followed with Sarah, Les and ourselves.

A lovely relaxed afternoon gave us plenty of opportunity of capturing people pictures. Happy with our coverage we said our goodbyes.
Maldon Wedding Photography at All Saints Church. Due to circumstances last year Sarah and Jamie put their Wedding back until this year.
It was a lovely day for their Wedding and Sarah was ready when we arrived. We took Sarah and her Bridesmaids into the garden for a few pictures. As it was very hot we didn’t take very long at all!.
Jamie was getting ready very close by so we quickly looked in on him. A few pictures of him, his brother and his parents in the garden. A short time later we left to go to the Church.
We captured some images of the guests arriving and a couple of Jamie, whilst waiting for Sarah and her Father to arrive.

Once Sarah arrived, we captured the moment before Sarah, her Father and the Bridesmaids entered the Church.
Following the service Sarah and Jamie went outside and were greeted by their Guests. A quick picture traditional of the Bridal Party followed by the action of the confetti

Leaving the Church we went to Layer Marney Tower . Sarah and Jamie arrived at Layer Marney by the gate. It was such a lovely bright dry day we took a few pictures of the happy couple with the car and before they walked up the path to see their Guests.

Sarah and Jamie had some relaxing quality time with their Guests during the drinks reception. Everyone had been looking forward to this time together, so much to catch up on. During the afternoon, we took Sarah and Jamie for a brief walk around Layer Marney for a few pictures, we just had to have a picture with the beautiful tulips!

When it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, the Guests took their seats at the tables in the Long Gallery. Our coverage of Sarah and Jamie’s Wedding Day ended when Sarah and Jamie entered the room.

It was a lovely day for Sarah and Jamie’s Wedding and we were very happy to be a part of their day. Do you need Maldon Wedding Photography? Contact us!
Tara and Jordan’s Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography included a visit to St Mary’s Church, Layer Marney.
Our first port of call on the morning of the Wedding was at Tara and Jordan’s house. Tara, her Mother and Bridesmaids were getting ready. When we arrived hair and and make up was going on so after capturing a few shots of this happening we went upstairs to photograph Tara’s dress, shoes etc.
Once Tara was ready we took a couple of pictures of her before she walked downstairs to where the Bridesmaids were waiting for her. After a few pictures outside we left to go to the church.
Tara and Jordan’s ceremony was to be in the lovely St Mary the Virgin Church in Layer Marney. Jordan and his Groomsmen were carrying out their duties when we arrived so in between we took their pictures.
We captured a few documentary guest arrival pictures before Tara arrived.
Tara was escorted by her Mother and they walked up the path and into the Church. After exchanging vows Tara and Jordan signed the Register. It was nice to capture some informal pictures during this time.
After all the formalities and the end of the service, Tara and Jordan exited the Church. Their Guests had lined the path and as Tara and Jordan came down the path they were showered in confetti.
Tara and Jordan then went for a short ride in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce car. Meanwhile the Wedding Guests slowly walked from the Church to Layer Marney Tower. It was a wonderful sight capturing all the people, colours, the weather of the day, merriment as they made their through the gates towards the tower.
Tara and Jordan returned shortly from their car ride and made their way through the gates and to the Tower. The Drinks Reception was in full swing. During the afternoon we took the requested family pictures together with a variety of other pictures.
The Speeches took place outside on the steps and the Guests congregated on the lawn. It was a lovely idea and worked very well, relaxed and some nice pictures were taken. Time for the Hog Roast! The evening was superb, soft evening light, warm, everyone enjoying the wonderful grounds around Layer Marney.
Whilst Tara and Jordan’s Guests were socialising we took the happy couple around the grounds for a few more pictures. The heat had gone out of the day and the sun was beginning to set. Some lovely pictures captured on the bridge finishing with a superb sunset.
Tara and Jordan then cut their Wedding Cake in the Long Gallery and then it was time for their First Dance.
We finished coverage of Tara and Gordon’s Wedding Day with a nightime picture of the Tower.

It was an early start for Stacey and Sam’s Wedding at Layer Marney Tower. Our first port of call was at Stacey’s Parents’ house where Stacey was getting ready. Stacey’s Bridesmaids were getting ready as well and all preparations were going well. We got on with taking pictures of Stacey’s accessories and details. Once the Bridesmaids and Orla the Flowergirl were ready we went into the garden as it was such a nice day to take some pictures. Stacey was soon ready as well and we were able to finish all the pictures.
We then headed off to Layer Marney Tower where the Wedding Ceremony was being held. Layer Marney Tower is a glorious setting for a Wedding and looked wonderful in the brilliant sunshine. Meeting with Sam we took a few pictures of him with his Best Man before they greeted the Guests. Some Guests arrived on the Layer Marney bus we captured their arrival. Sam went into the Corsellis Room which was where the Ceremony was taking place after having a brief chat with the Registrars. Meanwhile Stacey had arrived driven by Graham in the Layer Marney Tower.
They then made their way into the building for the Ceremony stopping for a couple of quick pictures on the way. After the Ceremony Stacey and Sam went for a short ride whilst the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds. When Stacey and Sam returned they were dropped at the bottom gate and walked up the path to the Tower watched by their Guests.
After the requested family group pictures Stacey and Sam enjoyed having social time to spend with their Guests. Later when we took Stacey and Sam for a few pictures around Layer Marney. The brilliant caricaturist Steve Hearn and the String Quartet entertained the Guests. Just before the Wedding Breakfast Breakfast in the Long Gallery, it was confetti time. Some nice pictures.
After the meal it was time for the Speeches. With it being such a nice evening people made the most to by going outside. During the evening we took a few informal pictures and escaped for a few minutes to take Stacey and Sam around the front of Layer Marney. The bus was there so they had a few fun pictures with that as well before it was time for their cake cutting. Stacey and Sam’s First Dance followed.
We ended our coverage of Stacey and Sam’s Wedding Day with some fabulous sunset and Tower shots.
Thank you Stacey and Sam for asking us to take your photographs of your Wedding. It was a lovely day spent with lovely people.
