Thank you to Rachel and the team at Prested Hall for their hard work in putting on a successful Wedding Fair today. We met some nice people and look forward to seeing some of them again.

Prested Hall Wedding Fair – Sunday 12th October 2014 – 12-4pm
David and I are looking forward to attending the Prested Hall Wedding Fair in Feering this Sunday. Come and have a look at our various sample Albums and have a chat with us as well as visiting this lovely Wedding Venue and meet with other Suppliers.

Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Anna & Chris
Prested Hall Wedding Photography – It was an early start for us arriving at Anna’s Parents’ home for the preparation pictures. It was a beautiful day, and preparations were well underway. After capturing the getting ready shots, it was time for a few pictures in the garden which Anna’s Dad had worked so hard on to provide a nice backdrop. It was sunny and very humid so we took the garden pictures as quickly as we could!
David and I then left to go St Nicolas Church, Witham. Chris and his Groomsmen were at the Church when we arrived and we managed to take a few pictures of them in between their duties. It wasn’t long before Anna arrived, driven to the Church by her Dad in the E-Type Jag. With all the Guests in the Church she made her way up the path and into the Church with her Dad followed by the Bridesmaids. During the service there was an almighty downpour which was quickly followed by brilliant sunshine! At the end of the Ceremony, Anna and Chris led their Guests out of the Church for some requested family photographs. Once these were finished everybody made their way to the gate for the confetti pictures, before leaving for the Reception. 
Anna and Chris wanted some pictures with the car along the driveway to Prested Hall, which we were happy to do. Timings were perfect, us arriving, getting set up just as they turned into the driveway. It was a great fun session with Anna and Chris also rehearsing (without music!) their dance steps for later, with us getting the fun images we wanted. Anna and Chris then joined their Guests for the Drinks Reception whilst we took a few informal pictures. A little while later as we were starting to organise the everybody picture, the rain made another appearance! The Wedding Breakfast beckoned! After the meal, we covered the Speeches, which was then followed by a second attempt at the ‘everybody’ picture with more success this time! Before the start of the evening celebrations and the arrival of their evening Guests, we took the happy couple for a short walk around the grounds of Prested Hall for a few relaxed pictures. Being a day of good but mixed weather, they ended up with a brilliant sunset picture as well as a rainbow picture!
Later Anna and Chris’ s rehearsed First Dance wowed their Guests before they joined them on the dance floor. It was nice to see familiar family members again. An amazing Wedding! -
Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography for Louise & Stephen
Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography – We arrived at Louise’s home for her preparation photographs prior to Louise and Stephen’s Wedding Ceremony at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. Preparations were well in hand and Emily, Louise and Stephen’s daughter was enjoying watching what was going on! With the details photographed, Isobel, the Bridesmaid got ready whilst Louise dressed Emily before getting herself ready. Emily was wonderful, smiling constantly, providing us with some nice images, a ‘thank you’ to Isobel for helping us as well. Meanwhile, Louise was putting on her lovely Wedding Dress and it wasn’t long before she came downstairs for a few pictures before we left for Crabbs Barn. The earlier rain had disappeared and the forecast for the day was looking good and so it continued when we got to Crabbs Barn.
We took a few pictures of Stephen and his Best Man, Dan, then left them to continue their duties. Louise arrived later escorted by her Dad and they made their way into the Barn for the Civil Ceremony. After the Ceremony Louise and Stephen went for a ride in the car whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. During the afternoon we took a few family group pictures and later took Louise and Stephen for a few together pictures.
Louise and Stephen were showered in petals just before the start of the Wedding Breakfast. Afterwards we captured some nice reaction images in the Speeches. Before the evening celebrations began we took Louise and Sephen around Crabbs Barn for some photographs including a visit to the Cornfield. After Louise and Stephen’s First Dance and taking a few pictures of their evening Guests we took a final night time picture. before taking our leave.

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding, Kelvedon for Elizabeth & Ryan
Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding – Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon was the chosen Wedding Venue for Elizabeth and Ryan’s evening Wedding Ceremony and Reception. We arrived at Crabbs Barn and met Ryan, together with his brother who was the Best Man. In between Ryan welcoming the Guests we took a couple of pictures of him together with members of his family before it was time for him to see the Registrars. Elizabeth arrived shortly after with her daughter, who was the Flowergirl, and her sisters who were the Bridesmaids. We managed to get a couple of pictures of them all before it was time for the Ceremony to begin. Following the Ceremony everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds of Crabbs Barn. A little while later we took a few requested family pictures before the fun Bridal Party pictures and catching up on a few portraits of Elizabeth.
Enjoying the nice weather we later took Elizabeth and Ryan all around Crabbs Barn including taking some pictures in the lane and in the Cornfield before the confetti shots.
Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding 
Crabbs Barn field shot Informal Speeches followed and these made for some nice images outside the Barn before it was time for the meal. Shortly afterwards it was time for the cake cutting and then Elizabeth and Ryan took to the dance floor for their First Dance as husband and wife, which is where we ended our wedding photography coverage.

Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn for Katie & Stephen
Wedding Photography Crabbs Barn – The weather was glorious for Katie and Stephen’s late afternoon Wedding photography at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon. Stephen arrived at Crabbs Barn with his Best Man and Ushers and we were able to take a few pictures of them as well as getting some informal pictures of the Guests as they arrived. Katie arrived shortly afterwards together with the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls and we were able to take a few pictures of them all before the Ceremony. After seeing the Registrars, it was time for Katie to make her way into the Barn. The couple and their guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception for a while before we got on with a few family group pictures.
A few pictures of Katie and Stephen together were taken around the superb grounds of Crabbs Barn and when we came back we took a few pictures of Katie and Stephen’s twin daughters.
This was followed by the Speeches in the Pavilion before the meal. Katie and Stephen then cut their Wedding Cake prior to the First Dance. As the weather was nice some of the Wedding Guests stayed outside while others joined them on the dancfloor for the dancing. Our coverage of Katie and Stephen’s Wedding finished with a couple of evening pictures.

Engagement Photos for Anna & Chris – It was nice to meet Anna and Chris again recently, for their Engagement Photos and a chat about the final details for their Wedding at Prested Hall, Feering, It was a beautiful evening and walking through Central Park, Chelmsford, provided us with some good opportunities resulting in some nice images.

Crabbs Barn wedding photography for Hannah & Craig
Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography – It was a rather humid day to start with for Hannah and Craig’s Wedding but the almighty downpour before Hannah arrived at Crabbs Barn made way for cooler air and sunshine. Hannah had her hair and make up done at home so just leaving a few final bridal preparations to do at Crabbs Barn. Hannah’s Wedding Dress and accessories were laid out in the Bridal Room and whilst these were being photographed, the girls were excitedly getting ready. When Craig arrived at Crabbs Barn, he just needed to put on his cravat and jacket before he was ready with his Best Man and Usher for a few pictures in the grounds – Hannah being well out of sight! It wasn’t long before Hannah, her Mum and Dad, Bridesmaids, Frankie, Julia and Catherine were all ready for their pictures. They stepped outside as it was such a lovely day and we had time to take some nice images. Paul from Crabbs Barn arrived shortly afterwards to take them on the short walk to the front of the barn.
Craig was safely tucked away inside the Barn waiting for Hannah to take her Dad’s arm and walk into the Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Hannah and Craig socialised with their Guests during the Drinks Reception ouside enjoying the sunshine.
After a little while it was time to get on with some family group pictures and fun bridal party shots. With these over with swiftly, Hannah and Craig had a short break before it was time time to take Hannah and Craig for their together pictures around the grounds.
Hannah and Craig were then showered in petals before the Wedding Breakfast commenced. The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and we captured some great moments, especially with the Best Man’s Speech! Afterwards everybody relaxed outside and the evening Guests started to arrive. This was the best time to escape for a few minutes with Hannah for a few extra pictures using the evening light. After the cake cutting, it was time for Hannah and Craig’s First Dance. What a fabulous First Dance! Then to cap a memorable day for such a happy couple, a beautiful sunset!
