David and I are looking forward to attending Fennes Open Day tomorrow from 11am-3pm. This wonderful Wedding Venue is definitely worth coming to view and meet with some of Fennes Recommended Suppliers.

Fennes Wedding Photographer for Naomi & Paul
We meet so many nice people being a Fennes Wedding photographer Naomi and Paul being no different! Our day started with going to see Naomi first at Fennes to see how preparations were going. Everything was going well with Naomi in the final stages of hair and make up.
David went off to find Paul who was getting ready with his Best Man, Clifford. When they were ready they walked over to the House. It was a nice dry day with sunshine so Paul had a few pictures taken with his Best Man and with a few Guests outside.
Upstairs in Fennes House Naomi was getting dressed assisted by her sister. Naomi was soon ready for to have some family pictures and some pictures of her taken. Naomi looked lovely.
Fennes Wedding Ceremony
Paul and Naomi chose to have their Wedding Ceremony in the Pavilion so the Guests made their way into the Pavilion and took their seats.
Naomi’s Mother and Father had flown over from Japan for their daughter’s Wedding and it was a lovely moment when her Father greeted her at the bottom of the stairs.
Ready for the Ceremony, Naomi took her Father’s arm and made her way into the Pavilion.
After the Ceremony inside and outside of Fennes was used for the Drinks Reception and this made for some nice informal pictures.Paul and Naomi wanted some family pictures as well which we took during the afternoon. A walk around the grounds for their pictures ended with some nice pictures of the two of them.
After the confetti shots it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. The Speeches followed.Evening Celebrations
Before the evening celebrations we took the ‘heart’ shot and a couple of other pictures in Fennes. Naomi and Paul returned to their Guests.
Never quite knowing if there would be a sunset this evening we hoped we would get some colour in the sky! We were lucky but had to be extremely quick! It did work and we were all very pleased!
After Naomi and Paul’s cutting of the cake and First Dance and happy with our coverage of their Wedding, it was time for us to leave. A lovely couple and a wonderful Wedding and another great day to be a Fennes Wedding Photographer! -
Justine & Glyn's Fennes Wedding
Justine & Glyn’s Fennes Wedding
It was a lovely day for the Fennes Wedding of Justine and Glyn .
We started with a visit to Justine in the Bridal Room where preparations were going very well. Justine was enjoying sipping her Champagne.
Justine and Glen wanted their Wedding to be fairly relaxed and from the outset that was what it was. Once Glyn was ready, together with his Groomsmen, they had a few pictures taken on the lawn.
Justine’s Dad was looking forward to greeting Justine at the bottom of the stairs, which he did and seeing his daughter ready to get married.
The Wedding
When it was time Justine and her Father walked into the Pavilion for the Ceremony to begin. Afterwards everyone went outside at the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception.
The weather was fine and for the remainder of the afternoon everyone stayed outside. During this time Justine and Glyn requested a few pictures which we took but we also ended up with a variety of informal shots.
During the short walk around Fennes grounds with Justine and Glyn we captured some them in some nice relaxed photographs. Just before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Justine and Glyn with confetti.
Just prior to the speeched we took the happy couple for a sunset picture. Justine and Glyn had invited a lot of Evening Guests and they were arriving just as the speeches finished .Justine and Glyn spent time with them for a little while.
The Evening Reception
Cutting the cake preceded the First Dance after which their Guests joined them on the dance floor and the celebrations got into full swing!
When we felt we were happy with our coverage of Justine and Glenn’s Wedding we said our ‘goodbyes’.A very happy Fennes Wedding day for Justine and Glyn and we were also very happy to be a part of it.

Fennes Wedding Photography for Elena & James
Fennes Wedding Photography – What a wonderful day for a beautiful Wedding at the glorious Fennes! We were so looking forward to Elena & James’ Summer Wedding at Fennes.
On arrival we made our way upstairs to where Elena and the girls were getting ready. James and his Groomsmen were getting ready in the house as well so after saying ‘hello’ to the girls, David went off to find James.
Preparations were going well in both camps. Once James and his Groomsmen were ready their pictures were taken around the grounds of Fennes. After that they socialised with the Guests spending the time outside enjoying the lovely weather.
Elena was soon ready but before we took some pictures Elena’s Father came into the room to see her. A few family and Bridal pictures were taken before Elena went down the stairs to see the Registrar.Elena and James chose to have their Wedding Ceremony outdoors. Being so hot the Guests waited until the last moment for taking their seats on the lawn. They didn’t have long to wait,
The ceremony
Elena accompanied by her Father came out of the house and walked over to the Gazebo. After the Ceremony, as everyone took the Reception Drinks we took the ‘everybody’ picture and a couple of requested pictures.
That was enough in the sun, time to move to the the shade of the trees for the rest of the pictures. It was a very relaxed afternoon and this allowed pictures not be rushed and gave time to Elena and James to talk to their Guests.Elena and James wanted some fun shots so later on we did those and took them for a quick walk around the grounds for their pictures, finishing inside for a couple as well.
The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and once the Guests were seated Elena and James made their entrance. After the meal it was time for the Speeches.There is usually time between the end of the meal and the start of the evening celebrations for extra pictures with the Bride and Groom and Elena and James wanted to do some more and some fun pictures! Aware that their Evening Guests were starting to arrive we made sure we returned so they could greet them.
The Dancing !!
When Elena and James cut their Wedding Cake a bit later on they then had their First Dance. The Guests then joined them on the dance floor. .A little while later a surprise for everyone! Moldovan dancers took to the dance floor and performed a variety of dances.
Everyone clapped as they performed their dances. Wonderful! Now it was the Bride and Groom’s turn to join in followed by Guests if they wanted to. The dance floor was packed! Superb! Great pictures!David and I after taking some informal pictures during the evening and stepping out with Elena and James for the sunset, made ourselves scarce for a bit. We knew what was coming next!
When the time was right, the DJ asked the Guests to go outside. Awaiting them there were Sparklers! With lots of Sparklers lit, the Guests made two lines so Elena and James could walk down the middle. Great pictures.! What a way to finish our coverage of Elena and James’ Wedding! A lovely couple and a fantastic day was had! -

Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy & Mick
Fennes Wedding Photography – Chrissy and Mick chose the wonderful Fennes for their Spring Wedding this year. Chrissy was getting ready in the Bride’s Room when we arrived, hair and make up well underway.
Mick was finishing off his preparations downstairs so after saying ‘hello’ to Chrissy, David went to find out how things were going. Once the men were ready they had some pictures taken outside. ‘His’ and ‘Her’s’ cars were parked in front of Fennes, ready for pictures now and later. Chrissy was soon ready for her pictures.
The Wedding Ceremony
Chrissy and Mick’s grandchildren were downstairs waiting to play their part in the Wedding. After Chrissy’s meeting with the Registrars it was time for the Ceremony. The Wedding Ceremony was held in the Pavilion and the children led the way before Chrissy taking herDad’s arm entered the room. After the Ceremony everyone went outside for the Drinks Reception. It was such a lovely day weather wise, just right for everyone to enjoy themselves around the grounds of Fennes.
It was great to be outdoors, the garden games were out for everyone to play with. A lovely afternoon, filled with lots of laughter and fun. After a few requested pictures during the afternoon, we took Chrissy and Mick for a short walk around the grounds, amongst the bluebells and on the bridge. Confetti pictures were before the Wedding Breakfast and after the meal it was time for the Speeches. 
The Evening Celebrations
The evening light afterwards was right for a few more pictures later on. During the evening we took some informal pictures capturing the enjoyment of the day. Chrissy and Mick cut their Wedding Cake before their First Dance then Guests joined them on the dance floor. The sunset was glorious, not to be missed! Afterwards Chrissy and Mick returned to their Guests to continue the celebrations.
Congratulations Chrissy and Mick on your Wedding! It’s a pleasure knowing you! You are such a fun loving couple, we so enjoyed working with you. Thank you for asking us. -

Wedding Photography at Fennes for Katie & Daniel
Katie and Daniel booked us to provide their wedding photography at Fennes. It was nice to be back at this wonderful and popular venue.
Arriving at Fennes the girls were busily getting ready upstairs in the house and Daniel and his Groomsmen were getting ready at Fennes as well so David and I split to cover all the preparations. Katie and Daniel were very relaxed about their Wedding especially as where their children were concerned. Belle, their daughter, was with the girls and Jake, their son was with Daniel and the Groomsmen.
Preparations were going well and when Daniel was ready with his Groomsmen, they had some pictures taken. Daniel then went to see the Registrars and then socialised with the Guests. Once Katie was ready we took some pictures upstairs. Katie’s Father was waiting for her to come down the stairs and we were there to capture this special moment when it happened.The Ceremony and Reception
After meeting with the Registrars they took their places in the Pavilion. The Bridesmaids and Belle, the Flowergirl, went first, followed by Katie and her Dad.
After the Ceremony everyone went outside as the weather was nice. During the Drinks Reception we took the requested family pictures followed by some fun Bridal Party pictures. Jake, the Pageboy enjoyed helping David take the pictures! Katie and Daniel’s ‘together’ photos were taken during the afternoon as well. 
The Guests threw confetti over Katie and Daniel in the Gold Room just before the Guests were called into the Pavilion for the Wedding Breakfast. Katie and Daniel had a few minutes to themselves before they made their entrance into the Pavilion. After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. An couple of additional Speeches were made. Katie delivered one and so did Grace, Daniel’s daughter. They both did very well.The Evening Reception
There was a short time before the start of the evening celebrations so we took Katie and Daniel for a short while for a few more pictures around Fennes including a glorious sunset picture. Before their First Dance later Katie threw her bouquet. Sparklers, night bridge shots finished our coverage of Katie and Daniel’s Wedding a little later on.
A great couple, a lovely family, and a most rewarding day with some lovely unexpected shots. -

Before we went out to take a few pictures we talked about their forthcoming Wedding at Fennes which is coming up soon. It is always good to meet our couples before the big day to familiarise ourselves with one another giving the Wedding Day a much more relaxed feeling to it.

What a glorious day to be Fennes Wedding Photographer for Stephanie and Paul’s Wedding at this stunning Venue! Starting at Fennes on the morning of the Wedding there was a hive of activity, excitement and people everywhere! With a large Bridal Party of adults and children it was lively! After saying ‘hello’, a quick chat and familiarising ourselves with where we would be taking pictures of the dresses, accessories, we got on with our work.
Sienna, Stephanie and Paul’s eldest daughter was very involved from the outset, helping and enjoying every moment. Ellie took a little while to do the same but then found it was good fun! Paul was in the Bridal Cottage finishing off his preparations so David went over there to meet him. When Paul,his Groomsmen and the Pageboys were ready there was time to take a few pictures before the ceremony. Meanwhile, Stephanie, the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls were getting dressed. Wow! Stephanie looked stunning as did the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls. The Pageboys looked so smart as well when they joined the girls. There was time to take a few pictures of them all before Stephanie headed downstairs. Stephanie’s Grandad was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs and after greeting Stephanie they went in to to see the Registrars. Paul and the Wedding Guests were seated at the last moment outside for the Ceremony as it was a hot day, just in time for the Ceremony to begin! Lovely pictures as the children led the way from the Gold Room towards the Gazebo.
Stephanie took her Grandad’s arm followed the Bridesmaids. The beautiful colour scheme that Stephanie and Paul had chosen for their Wedding enhanced the setting. Following the Ceremony and after Stephanie and Paul spent a little time with their Guests we got on with the requested family pictures. Moving over to the trees for the Bridal Party pictures for a little shade!
During the afternoon we captured relaxed informal pictures of everyone and spent a few minutes with Stephanie and Paul around the grounds for their pictures. Just before the Wedding Breakfast Stephanie and Paul were covered in confetti. The Pavilion looked lovely for the Wedding Breakfast. We covered the Speeches which provided great amusement and reactions. Stephanie and Paul took the opportunity for some time in the grounds in the evening as did a number of the Guests. We took this opportunity of a few evening pictures of the two of them as well as taking relaxed informal pictures of their Guests.
Evening Guests arrived and Stephanie and Paul spent some time with them before sunset. On our return Stephanie and Paul cut their Wedding Cake and had their First Dance. We left them a little later to continue their evening celebrations. A wonderful day!
