Fennes Wedding Photography – Olivia & Jon

It was a beautiful day for the Wedding of Olivia and Jon at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Just following the sound of laughter and excitement when we arrived to where the girls were getting ready, set the tone for the day! With lots going on, it was a busy start, not forgetting Jon with his Groomsmen getting ready as well. Time as usual was going very quickly but we were able to get a few pictures of the girls before it was time to go downstairs. With Olivia and Jon’s Wedding Guests seated outside ready for Civil Ceremony, Olivia took her Father’s arm and made her way through the Gold Room and out into the sunshine, to where Jon was waiting for her in the Gazebo. After the Ceremony, Olivia and Jon enjoyed a little time socialising with their Guests before it was time to take the requested family group pictures, followed by the everybody shot. During the Drinks Reception we took some great fun shots and a few pictures of Olivia and Jon around the splendid grounds of Fennes. The Gold Room provided the setting for the confetti pictures before the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed before Guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine. Shortly before the first dance we took Olivia and Jon for a few pictures with the spectacular sunset. Later, Olivia and her Bridesmaids performed a surprise dancing routine, which resulted with Jon and the men giving a reply! A lovely day, a lovely couple and great to work with Iain Wagstaff, the Videographer again.

Here in your Heart

In trying to keep our pictures fresh, we are always looking for alternative views, sometimes they have been seen before and occasionally we find something unique!

In preparing for David’s Fellowship panel, the advice was, if possible, not to enter any of the pictures in competitions or use the pictures on our website, as when they get copied by other Photographers they start to lose their impact!

As far as we are aware this location and framing has not been used by anyone else previously, although that will undoubtedly soon change – this is where you saw it first!

Wedding Photography for Sarah & James – Fennes

It was a beautiful spring day for the Wedding of Sarah and James at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Sarah and her Bridesmaids were busily getting ready with everything going very smoothly. James was also getting ready at Fennes and when he was ready he greeted the arrival of the first Guests for their Wedding, before some pictures of him , his Best Man and Ushers. Sarah was very soon ready and together with her Bridesmaids had a few pictures taken before the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Sarah and James led their Guests through the House and outside for the Drinks Reception. Guests enjoyed the warm sunshine whilst we got on with a few requested family group pictures. Fun and laughter took place during some bridal party pictures before we managed to take Sarah and James for a litte while for their pictures. Sarah and James had a few pictures in the Red room before it was time for confetti pictures and the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches followed before a break before the evening. Being such a lovely day, Sarah and James had a wonderful sunset picture before it was time for the First Dance.
We took some evening Guest pictures, before James and the Wedding Guests were given a surprise with a rehearsed dance by Sarah and the girls! The response by the boys, an unrehearsed dance! Great fun, lovely atmosphere, wonderful captured images of the day!

Wedding Photography for Kavita & Sam – The Fennes Estate, Bocking

We arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Kavita and Sam with plenty of time to capture pictures of Kavita getting ready, then moving to The Fennes Suite for some pictures of Kavita, her Family and Bridesmaids. In between times we found Sam, his Best Man and Ushers, who were greeting Guests and took a few pictures of them before they went to the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony. After the Ceremony, with the weather not playing ball, everybody stayed in the House for the Drinks Reception. During this time we took some family group photographs in the Gold Room, mixed with a few Bridal Party pictures and a few pictures of Kavita and Sam. David and I are always up for going outside whatever the weather if the Bride and Groom want to as well, and as Kavita had her “Weddington Boots” , we took the opportunity. With the help of a few of the Bridal Party and umbrellas, off we went to the Bridge. A short stop for a couple of pictures in the Gazebo, then back in the dry! Thank you to all! Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed before Kavita and Sam left their Guests for a change of dress for their Evening Reception. Once changed, we took some photographs of the two of them before they made their entrance for the start of the Evening celebrations. After a few dancing pictures, and relaxed, informal pictures of their Guests and evening Guests, it was time for us to leave.

Wedding Photography for Kelly & Tommy – The Fennes Estate

We arrived at Kelly’s parents’ house where everything was going well with the final preparations. As it was a lovely day, when Kelly was ready we went into the garden for some pictures of Kelly, Bridesmaids and Parents. Once these were taken we made our way to Fennes where Kelly and Tommy chose to have their Wedding. Tommy and his Groomsmen were ready to have their photographs taken, before Kelly arrived. As the weather was really good, the Civil Ceremony was taking place outside in the Gazebo, where the Guests were seated. Kelly arrived at Fennes and made her way to the Ceremony through the Gold Room. Family group pictures, fun bridal party shots followed after the Ceremony during the Drinks Reception. We took Kelly and Tommy for a few pictures around the grounds of Fennes in between them socialising with their Guests. As the Guests made their way to the Wedding Breakfast in the Pavilion, we had a little time with Kelly and Tommy for some fun relaxed photographs in the Gold Room and the front part of the house. Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, Kelly and Tommy wanted some pictures in The Fennes Suite before their evening celebrations. First Dance and evening pictures completed our coverage of their Wedding.

Wedding Photography for Reena & Steve – The Fennes Estate

Wow! What an amazing day! Not one but two Wedding Ceremonies on the day for Reena and Steve! David and I arrived in plenty of time at Fennes, familiarising ourselves with the order of the day. David went to find Steve and his Groomsmen, whilst I joined Reena and the Bridesmaids. With lots going on in both camps, there was plenty to photograph. The first Ceremony was a Civil Ceremony and as it was a warm, dry and bright Summer’s day the Ceremony was held outside in the Gazebo, a perfect setting! With the many Guests seated and with Steve awaiting his Bride, Reena made her way to the Gazebo. Following the Ceremony, Guests mingled in the lovely grounds of Fennes, whilst enjoying the Drinks Reception. A few pictures on the Bridge for Reena and Steve followed together with a few family group photographs. Reena and Steve had time to enjoy talking to their Guests before a few fun bridal party pictures were taken. It was not long before Reena and Steve left their Guests to change into traditional dress for the Hindu Ceremony. With such an array of colour and lots going on, outside as well as inside at Fennes, and as this was our first Hindu Ceremony, our feet didn’t touch the ground! The Mandap looked absolutely fabulous and after Steve had been welcomed by Reena’s Mum and they had taken their places, Reena entered the Mandap. After the Ceremony everybody went outside for some more pictures that the couple requested. Before the Meal, Reena changed again into an beautiful evening Sari, providing us with even more variety of pictures. Following the Starters, Speeches were made before the main meal. After the cake cutting, and Reena and Steve’s First Dance we finished our day. A massive thank you to Reena and Steve for including and educating us so much on their special day. It was good to work with David of Rideout Productions yet again and thanks to the staff at Fennes as always.

Wedding Photography for Judith and Cameron – St. Mary's Church, Bocking and Fennes, Bocking

We started our coverage of Judith and Cameron’s Wedding at The Fennes Estate,Bocking. Preparations were going well and after a few pictures of Judith, her Parents and Bridesmaids in the lovely rooms of Fennes, we left to go St. Mary’s Church, Bocking for the Church service. Cameron and his Groomsmen were greeting Guests as we arrived and after capturing a few photographs of the men we awaited the arrival of Judith. With a blue sky and fluffy white clouds it was a glorious setting as Judith made her way into Church. After the service and a few family photographs outside the Church, Judith and Cameron left to go to Fennes covered in confetti! The couple and their Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception outside, interrupted at times for various requested photographs. For Judith and Cameron’s pictures a short walk around Fennes provided them with some wonderful relaxed images. Following the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, and as Judith and Cameron (as well as us!) wanted to have some more pictures taken we used the beautiful insides of Fennes as our settings. We had planned a few outside but the rain put paid to that! After capturing a wonderful set dance routine, we took some pictures of the evening Guests, taking our time, as we knew there was going to be a surprise later for everybody. A superb surprise firework display ended a wonderful day for us whilst everyone else returned inside to carry on the celebrations. Congratulations to Cameron on his Distinction and his Appointment as a Doctor.

Wedding Photography for Sarah & Colin at Fennes

We arrived at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, on a dry bright day where Sarah was getting ready. Everything was running smoothly allowing us to take our time taking some photographs of Sarah, her Parents, Bridesmaids and Pageboy. We were able to use the lovely rooms at The Fennes, before leaving to go to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking, for the church service. At the Church we took a few pictures of Colin, his Best Man and Ushers prior to Sarah’s arrival. A few pictures were taken outside the Church after the service, before leaving to go to Fennes for the Reception. Sarah, Colin and their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst some family pictures were taking place. After making sure Sarah and Colin had spent time with their Guests we went for a short walk around the grounds in the warm sunshine achieving some nice photographs of the two of them, before their Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. Our day ended with photographs of their evening celebrations.
