It was nice to see Natalie and Craig again this time for Family Photography. They were married at Fennes in 2016 and now they have a son called Finley. We got together with them and members of Natalie’s family for some family pictures at Natalie’s Parents’ house. Natalie and Craig wanted a selection of different group pictures including pictures with the little ones. It all worked well and we had an enjoyable time taking them.
Debi and Rob booked us for Fennes Wedding Photography for their early autumn Wedding. After meeting everyone in the Bridal Room, we got on with taking pictures of the details and accessories. In between we made sure we captured the getting ready pictures of both Debi and Rob. David was with the men and once they were dressed they had some pictures taken outside as it was still dry.
The girls were nearly dressed but unfortunately the zip broke in the one of the Bridesmaids’ dresses! Not to worry, the only way to solve the problem was to sew the zip together! My job today, no problem! It was at this moment David returned! Good timing! David just carried on with the photography! Debi was unaware of what was going on, which was fine by all of us! By the time Debi and the rest of the Bridesmaids were ready, the job was completed! Pictures taken and then it was time for Debi to go downstairs for the Ceremony. The plan was to have an Outdoors Ceremony but the weather put paid to that! The Guests were seated in the Pavilion and Debi came downstairs and went to the Pavilion for the Ceremony. 
A break in the rain allowed us all to go outside for the everybody shot before it started again. We got on with taking a few requested pictures using the rooms in the house during the Drinks Reception and we were able to use the steps outside for a few more. The rain did ease and we were able to go outside later on, using the Gazebo and the bridge. 
During the rest of the afternoon we captured some informal pictures before the Guests threw confetti over Debi and Rob. The rain stopped again during the Wedding Breakfast, so in between courses we stepped outside with Debi and Rob for a few pictures. 
After the Wedding Breakfast as there was time for a few more pictures of Debi and Rob around the House and as the the sun was setting, a lovely sky, both in the lane and on the bridge! Not to be missed!
Evening Guests were arriving as we returned so the Wedding Cake was cut and Debi and Rob had their First Dance. Later on we said our goodbyes. A great day! Thanks to Sharon of Fennes for helping the day to go like clockwork, despite the zip mishap which held together right through the evening!
We are looking forward to attending Fennes Wedding Open Day this Sunday, 28th January. Fennes is such a popular and wonderful venue to hold your Wedding and well worth coming along to view the place, as well as meet with various Suppliers. We will be in the large pavilion and will have a range of sample albums for you to see.
Pre-Wedding Pictures – Elena and James came to see us again in the Autumn last year so we could catch up on their plans for their Wedding Day. After a coffee and a chat we went for a walk locally just to take a few pictures of the two of them. The weather was good to us and we had a leisurely time re-aquainting ourselves with Elena and James and they ended up with some nice pictures. Elena and James are getting married in the summer at Fennes . Looks like they are going to make some great wedding pictures!
We went to Fennes for a Vows Renewal Ceremony for Vanessa and Malcolm. The Ceremony was at The Fennes Estate, Bocking. Vanessa and Malcolm were joined by their family and friends for this occasion. We arrived at Fennes where Ness was getting ready helped by her Bridesmaids, whilst Malcolm was getting ready in the Cottage.
David went to see how the men were getting on whilst I stayed with Ness and the girls. Once Malcolm and his Groomsmen were ready they had a few pictures taken in front of the house.
It was a lovely day and as the Guests arrived they socialised outside in the grounds and were joined by Malcolm and his Groomsmen. In the house final preparations were finished, it was nice to see Michelle of Bumblebee Bridal again, and we got on with taking some pictures of them all. With the Guests seated outside for the Ceremony, Ness came downstairs and met with Malcolm before they went into the Gold Room and then outside. 
It was lovely that Malcolm’s Aunt carried out the Ceremony for Ness and Malcolm. Following the Ceremony, Ness and Malcolm spent with their Guests during the Drinks Reception. During this period we also got on with taking the pictures that Ness and Malcolm requested, as well as taking some capture the moment pictures. 
After the confetti pictures everyone made their way into the Pavilion. There were a couple of Speeches before the Hog Roast then Ness and Malcolm cut the cakes. One of the cakes was the top tier of Ness and Malcolm’s original Wedding Cake and it was edible! There was some time available after that so we took Ness and Malcolm for a short time away from their Guests to take some pictures together with a sunset picture.
Returning a little time later dancing followed. A box of dressing up items proved a hit with lots of the Guests and we were there to capture the results! Happy with our coverage of Ness and Malcolm’s Wedding Day we then said our ‘goodbyes’. Ness and Malcolm had a wonderful day and we were delighted to be asked to be part of it. Thank you, Ness and Malcolm.

It was a beautiful day for Kelly and Ben’s Fennes Outdoor Wedding. Both Kelly and Ben were getting ready at Fennes so David and I went our separate ways to photograph the preparations. In both camps preparations were going well. The Flowergirl, Ophelia, was happy drawing and colouring whilst watching the preparations, waiting patiently for her turn to get dressed.
Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they came over to the House. After Ben had opened his present from Kelly he had a few pictures taken with his Best Man and Ushers. Upstairs, Kelly and her Bridesmaids were getting dressed with Mum assisting Kelly and were all soon ready for some pictures. 
Guests who had been socialising outside and others who were arriving made their way to the area for the Ceremony. Ben escorted Kelly’s Mother over to the Gazebo for the Ceremony as Kelly came down the stairs and was greeted by her Father. After seeing the Registrars, Kelly and the girls had a few minutes before leaving the Gold Room and going outside. Some lovely pictures against a wonderful backdrop as they joined everybody. 
After the Ceremony everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception entertained by the String Quartet. Timings were fine allowing time for Kelly and Ben to socialise as well as taking their requested pictures. A nice relaxing afternoon gave us time to take a variety of pictures but without keeping Kelly and Ben for long periods of time away from their Guests. Before the Wedding Breakfast the Guests showered Kelly and Ben in confetti.
After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. Once these were finished as it was such a lovely evening, the light was good we went outside for a few more pictures. Finishing off as we returned to the Pavilion we took a couple of pictures in the house.
After the evening Guests had arrived it was time for cutting the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. Kelly and Ben were joined on the dance floor by their Guests. Our coverage of Kelly and Ben’s Wedding ended with a lovely sunset.
A great day and a lovely couple. It was good to work with Philip Smith Visuals as well.
Fennes Open Day September 2017 – Come and visit the stunning Fennes Sunday 10 September 2017 from 12-3.30pm. The Fennes Estate is a wonderful venue to hold your Wedding. Come and have a walk around and see for yourself. There will be many Suppliers of which we are one of them. On show we will have sample albums of Weddings, big and small and at different times of the year. We absolutely love working at Fennes, not only because of the setting but the way Fennes is run and the friendliness of the Staff. It would be lovely to meet with you and have a chat about your Wedding, so why not come along and see us in the Banqueting Hall.
The sun was shining brightly when we arrived to be Fennes Wedding Photographers for the the Wedding of Najette and Bobby. After saying ‘hello’ to Naj and Tors, Naj’s Matron of Honour. David went off to find Bobby and the men. Naj was getting ready in the Bridal Changing Rooms helped by her friends. Bobby was getting ready in the Cottage.
Preparations were going well for both of them so after capturing a flavour of these Bobby and his Groomsmen were soon ready for some pictures. Making the most of the summer sunshine these were taken outside although we love taking pictures inside at Fennes as well! When these were finished they all mingled with the Guests. 
Meanwhile Naj was almost ready for her pictures. Her Father came upstairs to see her before we took a few pictures and then it was time for Najette to go downstairs heading to the Ceremony. Whilst this was happening the Guests were taking their seats outside for the outside Ceremony.
The weather was holding, just! Naj then took her Father’s arm and made her way out of the Gold Room and into the grounds of Fennes. The Ceremony started and the clouds gathered! A couple of claps of thunder in the distance followed but fortunately the rain held off! 
As the Ceremony finished the sun re-appeared and everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds. After having a little time to socialise we then got on with taking the requested family pictures. Naj and Bobby’s ‘together’pictures were taken during the afternoon around Fennes. We did take umbrellas with us but only needed them when we finished their pictures. Good timing! 
After the confetti it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. Before the start of the evening celebrations there was time for everyone to continue with socialising in the Pavilion or take a wander around the gardens of Fennes. It was during this time and the weather was fine we took Naj andBobby for a few minutes for a few evening pictures around the Venue and Naj and Bobby were happy to try out a couple of different pictures that we had been thinking of.
Once the Evening Guests had arrived Naj and Bobby cut their Wedding Cake. Their First Dance followed before they were joined on the dance floor by their Guests. Our final pictures of Naj and Bobby’s Wedding Day was of the sunset. Naj and Bobby are a lovely couple and were great to work with. A wonderful day!
It was nice to meet Debi and Rob again recently for their Pre-Wedding Test Photos. Before we went out to take a few pictures we talked about their forthcoming Wedding at Fennes which is coming up soon. It is always good to meet our couples before the big day to familiarise ourselves with one another giving the Wedding Day a much more relaxed feeling to it.
