Fennes Wedding Photography for Maxine & Ben

Maxine and Ben booked us for their Fennes Wedding Photography. Arriving at Fennes it was overcast but the forecast was that the weather was going to break.  Maxine and Ben really wanted an outside Ceremony so the decision was made to go ahead and fingers were crossed. It wasn’t long before the sun was out which enhanced the setting for their Wedding. Maxine was getting ready upstairs with her Mother and the Bridesmaids. In another room Ben was getting ready. Preparations were going well were going well for both of them and once the men were ready they headed off downstairs and outside.

Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesBen and his Groomsmen had a few pictures outside and inside Fennes House then they carried out their duties of greeting the Guests. Maxine was soon ready for her ‘ready’ pictures together with the Bridesmaids. Fennes Wedding Photography The Drinks Reception followed the outdoor Ceremony and everyone enjoyed socialising in the sunshine and being entertained by a magician. We got on with taking the requested family pictures and a few Bridal Party pictures later on. Leaving the Guests we whisked away Maxine and Ben for a short session of pictures on the Bridge and through the Bluebells. Wedding Photographer FennesEveryone congregated in the Gold Room just before the Wedding Breakfast for the confetti throwing. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and the Speeches followed. A bouncy castle provided entertainment afterwards for the Bride and Groom as well as their Guests! The break between the speeches and evening celebrations allowed us to create Maxine and Ben’s special pictures which they requested involving the  bridal party as well. These pictures were fun to do as well with everyone being extra relaxed!Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer Finishing off with Maxine and Ben’s evening pictures inside Fennes we then returned to the Pavilion.  Maxine and Ben cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After good weather during the day a sunset was not to be, so instead we took a couple of night pictures. This finished our coverage their Maxine and Ben’s Wedding Day. Thank you Maxine and Ben for an enjoyable and rewarding day also to the staff  who make Fennes Wedding Photography a pleasure.

One afternoon a couple of months ago Vanessa and Malcolm came to see us for some Photos by the river  and to talk about their Renewal of Vows Ceremony at  The Fennes Estate in the summer.  Although we had met Ness and Malcolm before they now had more details to give us about their big day. This get-together also gave us the opportunity to create a few Photos by the river as a pre-wedding practice session.

It was a nice spring day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate for the Wedding of Emma and Ben. Emma was getting ready in the house with her Bridesmaids. Ben and his Groomsmen arrived a little later and carried out their final preparations. Once Ben and his Groomsmen were ready they had some pictures taken at the front of Fennes House. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerMeanwhile Emma enjoyed sipping her Champagne and it was then time for her Mum to assist her to get dressed. Ben was greeting the Guests and went with them as they made their way to the Pavilion for the ceremony. We took a few Bridal portraits of Emma together with a few other pictures before it was time for Emma to go and see the Registrars. The String Quartet played as Emma took her Father’s arm and entered the Pavilion for the Ceremony. After the Ceremony the Guests followed Emma and Ben to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception. Everyone enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the sunshine whilst we took some informal pictures. During the afternoon we arranged the requested family group pictures. Taking Emma and Ben for a walk around the grounds later was very nice, especially through the bluebells.Fennes Wedding Photography Before the WeddingBreakfast the Wedding Guests threw confetti over Emma and Ben in the Gold Room. After the Wedding Breakfast it was time for the Speeches. For early evening entertainment Emma and Ben had arranged the fabulous Caricaturist Steve Hearn  to provide caricatures. After Emma and Ben had their caricature we managed to steal them away for a few evening pictures. When we returned a few minutes later their evening Guests were arriving. After Emma and Ben had cut their Wedding Cake they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Wedding Photography Fennes for Amanda & Nick

The wonderful Fennes was the Wedding Venue chosen by Amanda an Nick for their relaxed mid afternoon Wedding. What a good choice it was! It was a nice day for their Wedding and the grounds around Fennes looked superb. Our first port of call when we arrived at Fennes was to go and see Amanda who was getting ready upstairs. Everything was running smoothly, fun and laughter was a-plenty during the preparations. Meanwhile Nick was getting ready in one of the Lodges so after capturing a few of those pictures David took a few pictures of Nick and his Groomsmen outside the House. Leaving Nick to greet the Guests in the sunshine David returned upstairs to where the girls were.  By this time the girls were dressed including the Flowergirl, Bethany. Amanda’s Father came into the room to see his daughter and then we got on with taking a few set shots.

Fennes Recommended Wedding Photographer The Ceremony took place in the Pavilion with the junior Usher Callum saying a few words. Some nice moments. After the Ceremony everybody went outside to enjoy the Drinks Reception. The children amused themselves playing in the trees in the spring sunshine. A little later we got on with taking some requested family pictures, followed by some more relaxed pictures. Photography Fennes During the afternoon we took Amanda and Nick onto the Bridge for a few pictures and a walk through the trees.  The blossom was out and this made for some nice images. Amanda and Nick had some time to spend with their Guests before it was time to go through to the Pavilion for the Speeches and meal. The speeches went well, including a Speech from Amanda’s sister, Felicity, and from Amanda as well. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerEveryone then enjoyed the Hog Roast. Later on there was time for a few evening pictures around Fennes finishing with a sunset and our ‘heart’ picture. Amanda and Nick cut their Wedding Cake when the Evening Guests arrived and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.Wedding Photographer Fennes After taking some informal pictures during the evening, it was time for us to leave. A lovely Fennes Wedding! Thank you Amanda and Nick for asking us to photograph your Wedding Day, it flowed very nicely, we know you enjoyed it and we did too!

It was great to be back to the wonderful Wedding Venue Fennes for the Spring Wedding of Alison and Mark. Arriving at Fennes we went unto the Bridal Changing Room where Alison and the Girls were getting ready.  Preparations were going smoothly so we got on with taking pictures of Alison’s details and accessories in the Fennes Suite. Returning to the girls we captured a few getting ready pictures in between watching for Mark to arrive.  Unbeknown to Mark he was being picked up at his Hotel by www.delboyvan.co.uk as a surprise Wedding present from Alison! We definitely wanted to be around when he arrived at Fennes as did Alison! Making sure Alison was unseen in the Fennes Suite when the moment arrived worked well. Alison carried on with her preparations afterwards.  Mark got out of the van grinning from ear to ear, he was clearly delighted by the surprise.delboyvan.co.uk The Bridesmaids and Alison continued getting ready whilst Mark had some pictures taken with the van as well as with members of his family. As the Guests arrived they mingled in the Gold Room. Alison looked lovely in her Wedding Dress, and the Bridesmaids looked nice in their Bridesmaids’ dresses, and when everybody was ready we took some pictures. Fennes Wedding PhotographsAfterwards Alison went downstairs and had a quiet moment with her Father in the Library before seeing the Registrars. The Wedding Ceremony was in the Pavilion and afterwards everyone made their way upto the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception. Alison and Mark had a little time for socialising whilst we took a few requested pictures of Guests with the del boy van and then got on with the requested family group pictures. All these pictures went fine.Wedding Photographer Fennes A little later on we took Alison and Mark for a short walk around Fennes for their pictures before ending up in the Gold Room for the confetti. Such nice pictures! The Wedding Breakfast was in the Pavilion and the Speeches followed. Before the start of the evening celebrations we took Alison and Mark for a few evening pictures around Fennes including the ‘heart’ picture.Recommended Wedding Photographer Fennes The cutting of the Wedding Cake followed a little later and then their First Dance. Jodie and Oliver chose the superb Fennes as the Wedding Venue to host their Civil Ceremony and Reception in the Autumn last year. The Bridal Room at Fennes was busy with final preparations taking place when we got there. Jodie’s Wedding Dress and shoes etc, were moved moved to the Fennes Suite for us to photograph them. Oliver and his Groomsmen were ready for their pictures.  The weather was good, dry and bright, so there were several places for their pictures outside away from the girls. Once these were taken David who then rejoined the girls.  Once Jodie was dressed, her Father came upstairs to see her before we got on with taking a few pictures. After these pictures, it was time for everyone to make their way downstairs.  Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesThe Pavilion looked lovely, the set up for Jodie and Oliver’s Wedding was the other way today. Pre-Wedding photo-shoot for Paula & Jason

It was lovely day when we met  Paula and Jason again in the Autumn last year for their Pre-Wedding photo-shoot. Our arranged meeting point was The Beth Chatto Gardens, Colchester.  Deciding to take some pictures of Paula and Jason first we started our wander around the superb gardens. We were spoilt for choice with the variety of different areas and made full use of them.  Happy with the pictures we took we then went for a coffee and a cake and had a chat with Paula and Jason about their Wedding at Fennes in the Spring this year.

Fennes Wedding Photographers – Rachel & Paul

Rachel and Paul wanted a Fennes Wedding. It was a beautiful day and when we arrived we went upstairs to the Bridal Room to meet with Rachel. Hair and Make-up was in the final stages, Rachel was chilled! Paul, his Best Man and Ushers were downstairs almost ready for their pictures.  Once they were ready we took a few pictures of them before leaving them to meet the Wedding Guests. As the Guests arrived they had the option of sitting outside in the sunshine or sheltering from the rising temperature! Once Rachel and the girls were ready we took a few pictures of them and a few portraits of Rachel. The Guests were seated for the Outside Ceremony so Rachel, Emma, Rachel and Paul’s daughter, and the Bridesmaids came down the stairs into the Gold Room. After greeting Emma as she came into the room, Rachel’s Father then escorted his daughter out of the room and across the grass to where the Ceremony was going to take place.

Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesLuke, Paul’s son, handed over the rings at the required moment, and after completing the formalities the Ceremony was finished. Rachel and Paul then enjoyed the Drinks Reception with their Guests in the grounds of Fennes. A few requested family group pictures were taken during this time together with a few pictures of Rachel and Paul on their own. Wedding Photographer FennesIt was nice to go under the trees for a break from the sun! Later the Guests went first into the Pavilion, followed by the entrance of Rachel, Paul, Emma and Luke. for the start of the Wedding  Breakfast. The Speeches followed then everybody made their way out to the front of Fennes for the ‘everybody’ shot.  By this time the sun had disappeared and it was cooler! We caught up on a few pictures that we didn’t do earlier in the day, making sure Rachel and Paul had their family pictures that they wanted. Fennes Recommended Wedding PhotographerRachel and Paul cut their Wedding Cake and took to the dance floor for their First Dance. A brilliant sunset concluded our coverage of Rachel and Paul’s Wedding. Fennes Recommended Wedding photographer Well done to Rachel and Paul, a lovely Wedding Day, arranged within six weeks of booking Fennes!
