Rachel and Garry chose the popular Crabbs Barn for their Summer Wedding. Rachel was getting ready in the Bridal Suite whilst Garry arrived at the front of Crabbs Barn in his classic Fiat 500. Following a few pictures of Garry with his Best Men, being such a humid day, a heavy shower interrupted proceedings but was soon over. 
A few photographs of Rachel were taken outside the Bridal Suite before the Civil Ceremony in the Barn with their close family and friends. During the afternoon Rachel and Garry were joined by the rest of their Guests creating a Garden party atmosphere in the warm sunshine. We took Rachel and Garry for a few minutes during the afternoon Reception for some pictures, making sure we got a picture with their classic cars.
Following a BBQ, a short walk with Rachel and Garry in the soft evening light achieved some relaxed pictures, before the Speeches and Cake Cutting, which were going to take place in the grounds of Crabbs Barn. 
Dancing and evening celebrations followed in the Barn. Rachel and Garry had a really relaxed Wedding, just as they wanted.

Wedding Photography for Zoe & Matt – St James' Church, High Wych & The Reid Rooms
It was already a beautifully hot summer’s day when we arrived nice and early at Marks Hall Farmhouse at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, and greeted Zoe, who was having the finishing touches applied to her hair and make-up. After a few detail pictures and when Zoe was dressed we moved into the lovely lounge to create her portrait pictures using beautiful soft light from the window.
Zoe and Matt’s sunflower colour scheme for their Wedding was fabulous, just right for their special day. On arrival at St James’ Church, High Wych, David went to see Matt who was in the pub opposite, whilst I photographed Guest arrivals. We took a few pictures of Matt and his Groomsmen outside the Church before Zoe arrived. After the service Zoe and Matt came out of the beautiful Church and headed towards the shade to greet their Guests and have some requested pictures taken.
Zoe and Matt left the Church through a shower of confetti for their journey to the Reid Rooms. A Drinks Reception awaited everybody in the courtyard at The Reid Rooms. With ample opportunities for lovely photographs and having the time to take them we achieved some wonderful images. Wedding Breakfast and Speeches followed and time allowed us to take Zoe and Matt for a short time around the grounds for some early evening together pictures, which turned out to be great fun, thank you Zoe and Matt! 
Evening Guests arrived for the evening celebrations and after the First Dance we ended our day. -
Wedding Photography for Sarah & Mark – Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath
We arrived at Sarah’s Parents’ home for the final bridal preparations just as the heavens opened, but fortunately after this quick shower that was the end of the rain for the day. Lots of activity was going on at home with Sarah and Mark’s daughter, Maisie, being one of the six flower girls. All things were going well and we took some lovely pictures in the garden before making our way to St. James the Less Church, Colchester. Photographing in this Church is great as it provides us with many different places to discreetly take pictures from. After taking a few pictures of Mark and his Groomsmen, Sarah arrived with her Bridesmaids and Flowergirls.
Following the Church service and after formal picture and confetti shots we left to go to Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel & Golf Club. Whilst Sarah and Mark’s Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception, we took the opportunity to go to the Lake with Sarah and Mark for their pictures. After a short interval we took a few requested family photographs before the Wedding Breakfast. Following the Speeches, it was a lovely evening outside for the fun Bridal Party shots and evening sunset pictures, before going back inside for the First Dance.
Pyrotechnics made for some brilliant photographs during the First Dance pictures before we left them all to continue the evening celebrations.

Wedding Photography for Laura & Nathan at Spains Hall, Finchingfield
It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Laura’s Mum’s house for the final bridal preparations. The girls were relaxed, having their final make up touches applied by the excellent Kelly Hollands, and before long it was time for all of them to put their dresses on. We took a few pictures of the girls before leaving to go to the Church. All Saints Church, Rayne, was where the service was held and after the service, everyone came out into warm sunshine and socialised whilst a few family pictures were taken, followed by the traditional confetti throwing.
Spains Hall, Finchingfield, was the Reception venue, a beautiful setting, especially with today’s weather! Laura and Nathan’s Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception with the children enjoying themselves playing with the various garden games. We took Laura and Nathan for a few photographs in the shade under the trees also allowing them time to themselves. Following a break, some requested group photographs were taken together with a few fun bridal party pictures. Time just flew by and before long, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast, supplied by Le Talbooth, which was superb. Coverage of the speeches followed before an interval before the First Dance. A short stroll around the grounds in the soft evening light with Laura and Nathan provided us with wonderful pictures before the First Dance. Evening Guests arrived and joined in the celebrations and were entertained later on by a surprise Firework Display. A wonderful day! Video filming was by Your Perfect Day

Pre-Wedding Pictures
It was nice to meet Laura, Nathan and their son, Harry, again. After catching up with the final details of their Wedding Day we went for a walk. With the sun shining through the trees, we had an fun time taking some pictures of the three of them. Laura and Nathan are getting married shortly at Spains Hall, Finchingfield.

Pre-Wedding Pictures for Anne & Stephen
The weather held out for a stroll around the Public Gardens in Braintree with Anne and Stephen for their pre-wedding pictures. We were spoilt for choice with many nice spots to take some relaxed pictures of the two of them. Anne and Stephen are getting married later in the year at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, Essex.

Prested Hall Wedding Fair
Wow! What a really good Wedding Fair it was at Prested Hall, Kelvedon, today! A massive thank you to the staff at Prested Hall and to everyone who attended despite the rain! We thoroughly enjoyed talking to prospective Bride and Grooms, who came and spent time talking to us, and to cap a very successful Wedding Fair we finished the day with bookings and appointments to see people.

Wedding Photography – Faye & Mitchell – The Fennes Estate, Bocking
It was a dry, bright day when we arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Faye and Mitch. Preparations were underway and running smoothly, giving us sufficient time to photograph Faye in a relaxed atmosphere. Following the Civil Ceremony and after the everybody photograph, Faye and Mitch socialised with their Guests during the Drinks Reception. As it was chilly outside Faye and Mitch requested their family group pictures to be taken in the House. The beauty of having Fennes is that there is the opportunity to use the different rooms for photographs which adds variety to the pictures. Not to be missed though, was a walk to the Bridge for some portraits of Faye and Mitch later on. After the Wedding Breakfast we captured some lovely images of Guests whilst the Speeches were taking place. Just before the First Dance we took a couple of night shots of Faye and Mitch before leaving a little while after the First Dance.
