Pre-Wedding Engagement session – Sarah and Rob

We met Sarah and Rob one evening to talk about their forthcoming Wedding and for their pre-wedding Engagement session. ThePre-Wedding Engagement session gives us a chance to get to know our clients a little better before the ‘big day’, finalise the timings and any special requests. We work at so many venues with beautifully manicured lawns, it is always nice to find some wild flowers to add interest to our pictures when possible! Sarah and Rob are having a Church Wedding followed by a Wedding Reception at The White Hart, Great Yeldham.

  • Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photos for Alison & Steven

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photos – Layer Marney Tower was the chosen Wedding Venue for Alison and Steven’s Wedding.  Both Alison & Steve were starting from Five Lakes, Crowne Plaza Resort, Colchester and we we went to see Alison.  Preparations were going well and it was busy, busy, busy!  With lots to photograph we quickly got on with the job.  Steven and his Groomsmen were downstairs, so we were able to get a couple of pictures of them before they had to leave for Layer Marney. We had a little time left for a few pictures of the girls once they were all dressed, before we also left for Layer Marney.

Essex Wedding Photographer After a few pictures of Steven and his Groomsmen they sat disappeared into the Corsellis Room out of sight before Alison arrived.  After seeing the Registrars, Alison took her Father’s arm and followed the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls into the Ceremony room.  Following the Ceremony the Alison and Steven led their Guests outside and after a few minutes they went off for a short ride whilst their Guests were served Reception drinks.Wedding Photography Layer Marney  On their return and after a few pictures with the car and the Tower, Alison and Steven walked up the path to where they were greeted by their Guests. Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Tower AfterAlison and Steven had enjoyed some social time with their Guests and we had taken a few requested family photographs, we took them for a short walk around the grounds.  It was soon time for the Wedding Breakfast in the Long Gallery.  Before the Speeches began Spencer Wood provided the entertainment as a surprise.  Following the Speeches everybody enjoyed the warm evening sunshine.  Alison and Steven’s evening Guests arrived and we took some informal pictures of them. Alison and Steven then cut their Wedding Cake prior to their First Dance.  Adam of  ‘Your Wedding Disco’  provided the light shoe, pyrotechnics and the disco for the evening.  A couple of night shots ended our coverage of a lovely day! Layer Marney Wedding It was nice to work again with Clive Maynard Toastmaster and Andrew of Crystal Clear Video.

  • Wedding Photography Fennes for Paula & David

Wedding Photography Fennes – Paula and David chose the splendid Wedding Venue, Fennes, for their Wedding Ceremony and Reception.  It was a glorious day and preparations were underway for an outdoor Ceremony. Paula’s Bridal preparations were going well upstairs, David was downstairs greeting their Guests. Once we had used a few minutes capturing a few pictures of him we left him to return to the guests. Paula was not too keen having her picture taken, but she was fine, we worked quickly  and took a couple of pictures of her, then it was time for her to go downstairs.  The Guests were seated and it was time for Paula to take her son’s arm and walk over to the Gazebo for the Ceremony.  Following the Ceremony we took a picture of everybody then they enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst we took a few informal pictures. Paula and David’s dog Bert, was part of the Wedding and joined them in their pictures around the grounds of Fennes as well as in the group pictures later on.Wedding Photography Fennes After the confetti pictures we took Paula and David into the Pavilion to take a couple of pictures with the cake before the start of the Wedding Breakfast. • Parklands Wedding Photography for Siri & Shaf

Parklands Wedding Photography – Siri and Shaf chose the poplar and superb Wedding Venue, Parklands, Quendon Hall, for their Wedding.  Our day started at Parklands, where all the preparations were underway. Siri with her family and Bridesmaids were upstairs in the  Bridal changing room whilst Shaf, his family and Groomsmen were also getting ready in another room and once they were ready, we took them outside for a few pictures. As Siri had the final touches applied for her make-up, a few pictures were taken of her before all the girls transferred to Room 1 for a few more pictures.  Loving this room, with so much more space, we were able to take some nice pictures formally as well as capturing some nice informal images. Wedding Photographer EssexEssex Wedding Photographer Soon it was time for the Bridesmaids to lead Siri and her Father down the staircase, through Parklands and into the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony.  Following the Ceremony, Siri and Shaf were showered in confetti as they left the Marquee and led their Guests through to the Banqueting Hall for the Drinks Reception and Canapes.

With it being a nice day Guests made their way outside enjoying the grounds whilst socialising. After giving Siri and Shaf some time with their Guests it was time to get on with the requested family pictures.  We were extremely grateful for the help from Shaf’s brother, who was the Best Man, and Shaf’s Usher, as well as the co-operation of all Siri and Shaf’s Guests with the group pictures.  All of us working together, brilliant!  After the fun Bridal Party pictures, it was time for Siri and Shaf’s together pictures around the grounds of Parklands, finishing by the field with the oil seed rape.

Siri tossed her bouquet when we returned and shortly afterwards, Siri and Shaf  changed into traditional Asian dress and we took a few pictures of them together.  Once their Wedding Guests had made their way back into the Pavilion they made their entrance.  Before they took their places for the meal they took part in a few traditional Sri Lankan games followed by the cutting of their Wedding cake.  We photographed the Speeches later and traditional ceremony games and captured some great images. Before the evening celebrations really began, we managed to take Siri and Shaf for a couple of evening pictures before returning for the dancing.  The Marquee looked fabulous as the couple took to dance floor for the First Dance, quickly joined by everybody else.  A spectacular scene! 140509-Siri-Shaf-w6  Essex Wedding Photos

Colourful, lots going on, a superb Bride and Groom, a fabulous day!  Siri looked lovely and Shaf didn’t look bad either!

  • Crondon Park Wedding Photography for Katie & Michael

Crondon Park, Stock, was the chosen Wedding Venue for Katie and Michael’s Wedding.  On the morning of the Wedding Katie was getting ready with her Mum and Bridesmaids at her friend’s Cherilyn’s house. Preparations were going well and after photographing the accessories, we captured some nice images of all of them, before leaving to go to the Venue. Michael, his Best Man, Antony, Usher, Rick and Pageboy, George, were busy carrying out their duties but we managed to take a few pictures of them before it was time for Michael to see the Registrars and be seated for the Ceremony. Once Katie arrived and had been interviewed by the Registrars,  she took her Mum’s arm and they entered the ceremony room.  After the Ceremony, Katie and Michael greeted their Guests whilst we took some informal pictures.  Later everybody went outside for the requested family group pictures and at the same time we took some fun bridal pictures.  After a break it was time for Katie and Michael’s pictures around the grounds.  It was a bright, sunny but chilly day and we made the most of the setting,  giving Katie and Michael a selection of different pictures.  The Wedding Breakfast was held in the magnificent Crondon Park Baronial Hall, which looked stunning especially with the colour scheme Katie and Michael had chosen.  Coverage of the Speeches followed, then a short time afterwards their evening Guests stated to arrive.  After the cake cutting and taking some evening pictures we left them all to continue the celebrations. Katie and Michael are such a fun couple and it was lovely to be part of their special day.  It was also nice to see Cherilyn (Matron of Honour) and Antony (Best Man) as  we photographed their Wedding in 2012 at Channels Golf Club, Chelmsford, as well as seeing Sarah and James whose Wedding we photographed at The Fennes Estate in 2013.

  • Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography – Donna & Lee

Donna and Lee chose the popular Wedding Venue, Crabbs Barn, for their Wedding.  A relaxed late afternoon Wedding was what they wanted, which they had with amazing weather as well!  After taking a few pictures of Donna and Lee individually, it was time for the  Civil Ceremony which was held in the barn.  The Drinks Reception in the lovely grounds.  We took a few requested family group pictures in between capturing the informal moments of their special day. Managing to squeeze a little time away from their Guests, Donna and Lee had their together pictures taken in the lane and field before returning.  Not wanting the formal style of Wedding Breakfast, Donna and Lee chose to have a buffet, which worked well.  It was lovely to see Rebecca, who is Lee’s sister, and Gavin again, as we took their Wedding Photographs in 2005 also at Crabbs Barn!  When we were happy we had everything captured we left Donna and Lee to continue the celebrations.Crabbs Barn wedding photoswedding ceremony at Crabbs BarnCrabbs Barn gardensBride & Groom at Crabbs BarnCrabbs Barn wedding
