Just a quick note to thank you so much for being our photographers for our wedding. You were both so brilliant throughout the day (even Matt didn’t mind having his photo taken in the end!) We are thrilled with the photo’s, we just wish we could have had all of them in the album! Thank you sooo much.

We were pleased to be the Wedding Photographers for the Wedding of Kate and Dave. After taking a few pictures of Kate beforehand we went to St Andrews Church, Rushmere, Ipswich, for the Ceremony. All the Guests appreciated the warm sunshine whilst we took a few essential pictures before moving onto Belstead Brook Hotel in Ipswich. Once Kate and Dave had a drink with their Guests, we took them for their pictures to the Brook and achieved some lovely relaxed photographs. During the Wedding Breakfast the Guests were entertained by a Basil Fawlty Impressionist which created genuine smiles which was excellent material for our cameras.
Thank you to everybody who visited our display and discussed details of their Weddings. We had an enjoyable and productive day.
Jess and Martin chose the lovely Layer Marney Tower, Nr Colchester, Essex, for their Wedding Ceremony and celebrations. The Tea House at Layer Marney was where Jess and her Bridesmaids were getting ready and in this beautiful setting we took the pre-wedding pictures. The weather was kind to us allowing us to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. We managed to get some different shots around Layer Marney, which included images taken later in the evening with the illuminated Tower.
A very heavy storm delayed the start of the Wedding Ceremony for Vanessa and Oliver at The Reid Rooms. Whilst we were waiting for the storm to abate, we made use of the wonderful Farmhouse for pictures of Vanessa with her two daughters, Jasmin and Rosie, who were Bridesmaids. Well done and thank you to Mary Briscoe for a quick change to the Wedding Ceremony arrangements due to the weather, most impressive! After the Ceremony and between the showers we were able to take a few pictures outside, Vanessa was determined to go outside and we we more than happy to do that! A thank you to Callum for helping out. As the afternoon had been cut short due to the weather, David and I decided to return after the Wedding Breakfast for a few more pictures of the happy couple after the ground had dried out a little. Our longest trip so far this year was to Dalhousie Castle, Edinburgh, Scotland, for the Wedding of Marie and Matt. The couple decided to use us, as we are local to them, to meet and discuss their plans, rather than booking a Photographer nearer the Venue. This worked really well for their big day. Dalhousie Castle is a great Venue for Weddings, with friendly staff, wonderful food, together with numerous photographic opportunities. Marie and Matt’s timings for the day allowed for some lovely relaxed informal pictures and together with the beautiful weather, it was perfect for us to do our job. Our day finished with a couple of night shots of Marie and Matt with the Castle illuminated in the background.
Despite a change in the weather for Melissa & Neil’s Wedding everybody had a great day. We met Melissa and her Bridesmaids at Charlie Browns in Colchester, where the girls were having fun in their preparations for the big day. On arrival at Layer Marney Tower we took the guys’ pictures outside, but at the time Melissa arrived, the rain had started again. After the Civil Ceremony the Guests were very co-operative whilst we arranged the family pictures outside the Corsellis Room before they went for their Reception drinks. Fortunately, we were able to get outside as the rain stopped to get some essential pictures of the Tower with Melissa and Neil. Whilst the room was being cleared for the evening we created a few relaxed pictures of the couple by the lake and in the barn and finished with some dancing pictures.
