  • Wedding Photography for Ann & Nigel – St. Mary's Church, Great Baddow & Russells Restaurant, Great Baddow

It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Ann and Nigel’s house, where the girls were busily getting ready.  After taking some pictures of Ann and the girls in the garden we left to go to St. Mary’s Church, Great Baddow, for the Church service.  On arrival we took a few pictures of Nigel with his Groomsmen, before they took their places in the Church.  After the Ceremony, Ann and Nigel greeted their Guests in between a few family group pictures being taken.  The Guests mingled whilst we took Ann and Nigel for a short stroll around the Church grounds for a few Bride and Groom portraits.  Ann and Nigel then walked the short distance from the Church to Russells Restaurant, where the Wedding Reception was being held.  The timbered barn with its high ceiling provided us with some lovely shots. After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, we stayed for the First Dance and took a few evening pictures.  This was our first visit to Russells Restaurant for a Wedding Reception and we would like to thank Robert for being friendly and helpful, which was very much appreciated.Wedding Photo - St. Mary's Church, Great Baddow

  • Wedding Photography for Maria & Kev at Layer Marney Tower, near Colchester, Essex

A beautiful summer’s day greeted us as we arrived at Maria’s Parents’ house for a few photographs of the final preparations of Maria, and her Bridesmaids.  Maria and Kev chose the lovely Layer Marney Tower, for their special day and as we arrived at Layer Marney, we took Kev and his Groomsmen for a few photographs before the arrival of Maria.  The Civil Wedding Ceremony was held in the Corsellis Room and afterwards whilst the Guests enjoyed the sunshine around the grounds of Layer Marney,  Maria and Kev went for a short ride in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce.   A few family group pictures were taken in front of the Tower as well as capturing informal pictures.  After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, as the light was good and it was not quite as hot, we took Maria and Kev for a short walk around the grounds of Layer Marney for their photographs, followed by fun, relaxed pictures of  Maria, Kev, the Bridesmaids, Flower Girls,Best Men and Ushers.  First Dance ended our coverage of their Wedding.  Once again thank you to Bouquet Garni for the excellent food!Wedding Photo - Layer Marney Tower

  • Wedding Photography for Kerry & Marc at Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Spa & Golf Club

It was already a lovely warm day when we arrived at Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath, for the Wedding of Kerry & Marc.  Kerry and her Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Hotel so our first pictures were of the bridal preparations.  Once Marc arrived at the Hotel with his Best Man and Ushers, their photographs were taken around the grounds of Stoke-by-Nayland. The Civil Ceremony was held in the Devora Suite and afterwards Kerry, Marc and their Guests made their way out to the Balcony.  Whilst the Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception we took Kerry and Marc for a short time down to the Lake for their Bride and Groom portraits.  On our return Kerry and Marc had some time to mingle with their Guests whilst we took some informal pictures.  A few family group pictures followed before the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches. After it being such a sunny day a couple of beautiful sunset pictures ended our day and made a lovely ending to their pictures.Wedding Photo - Stoke-by-Nayland

  • Wedding Photography for Helen & Stephen – Hedingham Castle

Helen and Stephen chose the wonderful medieval castle at Castle Hedingham, Essex, for their Wedding.  It was a glorious day and with lots of Bridesmaids, Ushers, Flower Girls, Pageboys, Guests, with lots going on, the weather was an added advantage. Helen was getting ready in the Georgian House with all her attendants, which made for a fun and lively atmosphere, which made plenty of relaxed photographs.  Mark and his attendants arrived and we took them into the Moat in front of the Bridge for their pictures before they made their way to the Norman Keep where the Civil Ceremony was held. After the Ceremony, the Toastmaster, David Mills, helped us arrange the family groups so the Guests were not kept waiting too long for the Drinks Reception.  Just before the Wedding Breakfast we took Helen and Stephen for a few relaxed pictures by the Lake.  Following the Speeches and First Dance we took some pictures of evening Guests and finished with a couple of pictures of Helen and Stephen by the Keep. • Wedding Photography for Sue & Mark at Prested Hall, Feering

Sue and Mark’s oudoor Wedding Ceremony was changed at the very last minute due to a most inconvenient rain shower, after which the day was warm and dry.  The grounds at Prested Hall made a lovely backdrop for Sue and Mark’s Wedding pictures of themselves and their families.  Mark’s speech at the Wedding Breakfast was impressive as he managed to introduce everyone in the room which allowed us to capture some lovely moments.  After the First Dance we took a couple of pictures of Sue and Mark beside the moat to finish our day. • Wedding Photography for Cathy & Matt at Creeksea Place, Creeksea

Cathy’s bridal preparations were taking place at Five Lakes Golf and Country Club, so this is where David and I joined the girls at the beginning of Cathy and Matt’s Wedding Day.  Lots of activity was taking place, so there were plenty of images to capture before leaving for the journey to Creeksea Place for the Civil Ceremony and Reception. Unfortunately, the weather was not as we would all have liked so the use of umbrellas was used to the maximum when we got to Creeksea.  Saying that, we captured some lovely images of the everyone making their way to the outdoor Ceremony.  After the Ceremony as it was still raining we were able to go into the House with Cathy and Matt and take some unexpected indoor pictures, with great results!  As we came out the sun was shining, so the requested family group pictures were taken outside on the lawn. Following the Wedding Breakfast, we covered the Speeches, which were interrupted by the marvelous ‘Del Boy’ Lookalike, www.delboy2.co.uk, which provided great fun and laughter.  A stroll around the grounds of Creeksea Place in the early evening and coverage of the First Dance ended our day.Wedding Photo - Creeksea Place

  • Wedding Photography for Lauren & David at Gaynes Park, Epping

A lovely warm day greeted us at home for the start of Lauren and David’s Wedding Day.  Lauren and her Bridesmaids were extremely relaxed enjoying the many preparations going on and this made for some nice informal pictures.  After taking a few pictures of Lauren in the garden we left to go to St Mary’s Church, Chigwell, for the Ceremony.  Following the church service, Lauren and David greeted their Guests outside the Church, proceeded by a few pictures of the two of them at the Church door.  Lauren and David left the Church, past confetti throwers in the glorious sunshine.  On arrival at Gaynes Park, Lauren and David socialised with their Guests before we organised the family group pictures to be taken in the Walled Garden. Gaynes Park provides ample opportunities for photographs and as we were there until after the First Dance, we were able to get such varied beautiful pictures.  An evening stroll for Lauren and David provided us with a closing picture which captured a wonderful day.Wedding Photo - St Mary's Church, Chigwell

  • Wedding 'Thank You'

David and I were delighted to receive a ‘thank you’ from Sandra and Drew, whose Wedding we photographed recently at The Fennes, Bocking:-

“We just wanted to say a big Thank You for the beautiful photos you took of our wedding.  You both made everyone feel at ease and we are absolutely delighted with the results.  The only problem is you have made it very difficut for us to choose the best photos for the Storybook, as there are so many great shots.  Thanks again”.
