On arrival at Five Lakes Hotel we were unsure of what the weather would produce for Rebecca and Gavin’s Wedding, although bright and breezy, showers were forecast, we would just have to wait and see! On arrival at Five Lakes where Rebecca was having her make-up done by the superb Emma Quin! With lots going on and with Rebecca having her make-up done by the superb Emma Quin, we captured some nice images before Rebecca and her Bridesmaids were ready for a few portraits. We then made our way to Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, which was looking fantastic with blossom on the trees, wonderful colours around, and sunshine! The men were looking their best and after photographing them and a few Guest arrivals, Rebecca arrived for the Civil Ceremony. Rebecca looked wondeful in her Wedding Dress which was supplied by Nell ‘Amore and after seeing the Registrars the Civil Ceremony began. After the Ceremony, Rebecca and Gavin led their Guests to the Drinks Reception outside and had some social time with them. We took some family group pictures and some fun bridal photographs during the afternoon. With the Guests enjoying themselves we took Rebecca and Gavin around the gardens for a short time for their together pictures.
With time going extremely quickly, as with all Weddings, it was time for the Speeches before the Wedding Breakfast. Afterwards, Rebecca and Gavin wanted a few pictures in the early evening low sun light, which we were happy to do! As the Evening Guests had arrived Rebecca tossed her bouquet before taking to the dance floor for the First Dance. To round off a splendid day a fantastic sunset!

Wedding Photography for Gemma & Steve – Parklands, Quendon Hall
Gemma and Steve were so looking forward to their Wedding at Parklands, Quendon Hall and so were we. As with many, their Wedding had been so long in the planning but with Gemma and Steve they had a few more considerations. Arriving at Parklands we made our way upto the Bridal Changing rooms where Gemma, her Mum and Bridesmaids were having their make-up done. Gemma was having her hair done as well and how lovely it looked! With hair and make up finished Gemma moved to the red room, which gave us more space with the Flowergirls, Bridesmaids and Pageboy! In between all this, we managed to meet Steve downstairs in the House capturing a few pictures of him with his Best Man and Ushers before we then returned to take some pictures of Gemma with all her Attendants before it was time for her to see the Registrars. With Guests seated, Gemma made her entrance into the Civil Ceremony with her Mum at her side. After the Ceremony, although chilly outside but dry, we took the family group photographs they wanted in front of the fountain. Gemma, Steve and ourselves left the Guests socialising and enjoying the drinks reception whilst we went around the lovely grounds of Parklands.
The sun came out on cue as we photographed the happy couple at the lake end, but not wanting to keep Gemma and Steve away from their guests for too long we soon sent then back to the reception.
The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion and once their Guests were seated, the speeches took place. Afterwards and before the evening celebrations started, as Gemma and Steve wanted some images capturing the inside of Parklands we spent a short time with them taking these pictures.
Evening Guests arrived shortly afterwards and witnessed the cake cutting before the evening went into full swing. A memorable day with endless smiles, a special couple, nothing was too much trouble for Gemma and Steve, which considering Gemma is wheelchair bound, was a big effort, in and out of her chair all day! Thank you!

Wedding Photography for Ruth & Daniel – Hotel Felix, Cambridge
Spring at last! The sun was out when we arrived at the Hotel Felix, Cambridge, for the Wedding of Ruth and Daniel’s outdoor Civil Ceremony. Daniel had arrived with his Groomsmen and had a few pictures taken while Ruth was getting ready in one of the rooms with her three Bridesmaids . Capturing some of the action and after taking a few pictures of Ruth when she was ready, it was time for Ruth to make her way to the outside for the Ceremony.
The setting in the gardens was wonderful for the Ceremony and the Drinks Reception during which Ruth and Daniel mingled with their Guests in the warm sunshine. Some family group photographs were taken and whilst the Guests were socialising, we took Ruth and Dan around the front of the Hotel for some of their pictures. We had fun and we were delighted to hear the words from our Groom, Dan, ‘I’m enjoying this’ as was Ruth.
The Wedding Breakfast was held in the beautifully decorated Marquee and followed by the Speeches. After the arrival of their evening Guests we captured a few pictures of Ruth and Dan as the sun was going down before ending our coverage of their wonderful Wedding with pictures of the First Dance.

Wedding Photography for Victoria & Alex – Leez Priory, Chelmsford
Victoria and Alex chose the wonderful Leez Priory for their Spring Wedding. It was a bright dry day when we arrived at Leez Priory to capture the final bridal preparations of Vicky and her Bridesmaids. Everything was running smoothly, Alex and his Groomsmen had their pictures taken outside before the arrival of the Wedding Guests and then it was time for some pictures of Vicky. Once these were taken it was time for her to see the Registrars and then the Wedding Ceremony. This was held in the Great Tower and after the Ceremony Vicky and Alex led the way to the Drinks Reception back in the House. After a little while, it was time to take the family group photographs outside. Making sure Vicky and Alex had time to socialise with their Guests, resulted in some nice informal pictures. Leaving the guests to continue with the Drinks Reception we took Vicky and Alex for a short walk around the grounds of Leez Priory, it was so lovely to find some daffodils at last!
For a few Bride and Groom portraits we went to the Carriageway under the Great Tower before returning to the House. Following the Wedding Breakfast and coverage of the Speeches, with the sun going down provided Vicky and Alex with a nice sunset picture before it was time for their cake cutting.
Vicky and Alex performed a surprise superbly rehearsed First Dance with our day ending with a couple of night shots.
