We were privileged to be be asked to photograph Ania and Patrick’s Wedding as Patrick is another local Professional Photographer! The heat was on in more than one sense of the word! Our day started early at The Grain House, Baythorne End, where Ania, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready. It was nice to see Michelle, again, doing a lovely job as always. Being an extremely hot and humid day, everybody was grateful for the coolness of the wonderful Grain House. This accomodation is great for everything to do with a Wedding, light, spacious, and with good opportunities for pictures of the details and preparations.
Ania looked beautiful in her Wedding Dress which she had bought in Poland. We took a few pictures of her together with her Parents and Sister and the Bridesmaids. We left to go to St. Katharine’s Church, Great Bardfield, for the Church service. On arrival Patrick, his Best Man and Ushers were busy with their duties, but for a short time their duties were interrupted by the ‘must have’ pictures of the Lamborghini with the guys!
Before long it was time for the men and Guests to disappear inside the Church as Ania was on her way. After the service, as the Guests mingled we took a couple of pictures of the Bridal Party. With the Guests lining the Church path, Ania and Patrick exited the Church showered in confetti before leaving for the Wedding Reception in the Lamborghini. Anser Gallows Farm looked a picture in the glorious sunshine and as Ania and Patrick were first to arrive we swiftly took them for a few portraits while their Guests were arriving . A few smaller smaller family group pictures were taken during the afternoon before the Wedding Breakfast held in the lovely Barn. Hearing the latest reports about the weather, Ania and Patrick wanted a few more pictures of the two of them and chose to do these in between courses rather than risk not getting them, which we were more than happy to do. It wasn’t long after this and during the superb Speeches that the heavens opened, we were very lucky! Later Ania and Patrick had their First Dance together followed by the party celebrations.
A final picture of Ania and Patrick under an umbrella in the rain completed our coverage of their special day. Well done to Patrick, being on the other side of the camera is not easy, but he did brilliantly!

Fennes Estate Wedding Photography for Sianie & Damien
The sun was shining when we arrived at Fennes for the Wedding of Sianie and Damien. Sianie was upstairs getting ready with her Mum and sisters, Rochelle and Chenelle, who were the Bridesmaids. Preparations were going well, fun and laughter was in abundance and we captured some nice images. Meanwhile, Damien was getting reading in the Cottage with their son Boyce, so we were able to take a few pictures of them as well. Once the girls were ready we took a few pictures, before it was time for them to make their way downstairs to go outside for the Civil Ceremony. Fennes provides a beautiful setting for an outdoor Ceremony and makes for some lovely pictures. Sianie and Damien left the ceremony with their son which made some nice pictures of them leading their Guests to the Drinks Reception.
After a short break for Sianie and Damien, we took them for a few pictures on the Bridge and around the grounds before returning to take the requested family group pictures.
A little while later we caught up on some guys, girls, and fun group pictures, before the confetti pictures. Following the Wedding Breakfast and the Speeches, Sianie and Damien enjoyed the evening sunshine in the gardens with their Guests before a few pictures of them in the House and finishing their pictures with a marvellous sunset.
With everybody returning to the Pavilion for the First Dance, the later stages of Sianie and Damien’s wonderful Wedding Day continued. -
Pre-Wedding Pictures
We met Karen and Ian at Maison Talbooth, Dedham, not long before their Wedding there for an up-date on their final details. Karen and Ian booked us for their Wedding Photography a while ago, whilst they were over from Holland where they live and were now finalising their arrangements for their big day.

Wedding Photography for Nina & Steve – Kings Oak Hotel, High Beach, Epping
It was a very hot day when we arrived at the Premier Inn where Nina was getting ready for her Wedding. Fortunately, we found a shady area outside in the grounds for a few pictures once Nina, her Bridesmaids and Family were ready. Leaving them a short while later we met Steve at The Kings Oak Hotel, High Beach. With the beautiful Epping Forest all around us we had plenty of nice areas to take some pictures of Steve and his Best Men before the arrival of the Guests. Following the Civil Ceremony everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception before we took a few requested family group pictures under the shade of the trees in the Forest.
Once the Guests returned to the Drinks Reception we kept Nina and Steve for a few portraits of them together before we returned and captured some informal pictures.
After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches by Steve, the Best Men and Nina, there was time to enjoy the evening sunshine around the Hotel. Keeping a watchful eye on the evening sun as it was going down and trying to anticipate when we should let Nina and Steve know when the best time would be for their sunset pictures, was well worth it, as we achieved some lovely results.
Some First Dance pictures and some informal pictures of Nina and Steve’s evening Guests ended our day. -
Wedding Photography for Eilidh & Ben – Butley Priory, Woodbridge
It was an early arrival for the start of our Wedding Photography for Eilidh & Ben’s Wedding. Eilidh was staying at the Country Lodges at Stoke by Nayland Golf Club, with members of her family who had come down from Scotland for the Wedding. It was our first visit to the Lodges and we must say we were very impressed, contemporary, spacious and light inside with balcolnies to compliment. With final bridal preparations taking place, it was all systems go with us taking a few detail shots and just having time for a few portraits of Eilidh, Bridesmaids and Parents, before we left to go to St. George’s Church, Great Bromley, for the Service. As the Flowergirls had arrived at the Church, we took a couple of pictures of them as well as capturing Ben with his ‘Beetle’!
With the beautiful colour scheme Eilidh and Ben had chosen, a glorious day, a Piper leading Eilidh and her Father from the Lych gate into the Church, lovely pictures! After a few family photographs, it was time for the confetti pictures and to make our way to Butley Priory, Woodbridge. The Priory looked a picture in the mid-afternoon sun especially decorated with bunting in the vintage theme the couple had chosen. Eilidh, Ben and the Bridal party arrived in Camper Vans which made for some fun shots.
Everybody enjoyed the cream tea and had a relaxing time socialising as David and I photographed the many accessories and details that Eilidh and Ben had made. Afterwards, we used the coolness of the Priory for a few pictures of Eilidh and Ben. Once the Wedding Breakfast had finished Eilidh and Ben wanted a couple of pictures in the Bridal Suite and in the early evening sun around the grounds before the evening Reception, which was held in the Marquee.
With Eilidh and Ben’s first dance completed and a few informal pictures of the evening guests we squeezed in a concluding evening picture of the happy couple before departing.
