  • Tyttenhanger Park Wedding Photography for Bridget & Chris

Tyttenhanger Park wedding – A new Venue for us! Bridget and Chris first saw us four years ago at Rebecca and Pete’s Wedding at Spains Hall, where they were Guests, so we were delighted to be asked to photograph their summer Wedding. It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Bridget and Chris’ house for Bridget’s final bridal preparations.  After capturing the details and accessories, we took a few pictures inside before stepping outside briefly for a couple more.  Just as we were leaving to go to the Church, the horse and carriage arrived for Bridget, her Parents and Bridesmaids.  St Thomas a Beckett Church in Northaw was the chosen Church for the marriage of Bridget and Chris.  We didn’t have long to wait  before Chris, his Parents, Best Man and Ushers arrived at the Church in a Limousine. After capturing a few pictures as they got out and a few traditional shots together with some Guest arrival pictures, we waited for Bridget. Once Bridget arrived she made her way into the Church for the service. St Thomas a Becket Church Northaw  Following the service, once all the guests had exited the Church, we got on with the requested pictures. With not much shade we worked as quickly as possible being an extremely hot day!  Bridget and Chris then left the Church in the Horse and Carriage to go to the Reception at Tyttenhanger Park.  As the Wedding Guests arrived before Bridget and Chris at Tyttenhanger Park, St Albans, they enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the superb grounds, entertained by the Harpist. We captured some lovely natural relaxed pictures of them all before Bridget and Chris arrived.  The splendid grounds of Tyttenhanger Park made a superb setting as Bridget and Chris arrived. Tyttenhanger Park wedding After they had socialised with their Guests for a little while, we took some fun bridal party pictures and a few pictures of Bridget and Chris around the grounds. Tyttenhanger Park wedding photography St AlbansAfter a big group shot it was time for the Wedding Breakfast in the Ballroom.  Before the beginning of the meal Bridget’s Dad and Chris gave their Speeches. The Best Man’s speech was after the meal after which everybody went outside and enjoyed the evening sunshine. With so many fabulous photographic opportunities at Tyttenhanger Park, we were spoilt for choice as to where to go for Bridget and Chris’ pictures, so taking a reality check, we condensed our ideas down!  Their Evening Guests were arriving and it was soon time for the cake cutting and First Dance.  Bridget and Chris entertained their Guests with a great rehearsed First Dance. Bridget and Chris wanted a sunset picture which incorporated a quick drive in our car and they were not disappointed!  A brilliant end to a brilliant day!

  • Forrester Park Wedding Photography for Carly & Craig

Forrester Park Wedding Photographyh – Carly’s Bridal preparations were well underway when we arrived to photograph them on the morning of her Wedding to Craig at St Bartholomews Church, Wickham Bishops.  Whilst taking some accessories pictures as well as the ‘getting ready’pictures, not on the cards for the day, the heavens opened!  Fortunately it didn’t last very long and after taking a few pictures of Carly with her Bridesmaids, Abi and Chelsea inside, we stepped outside for the rest. Leaving Carly, we went to St Bartholomews Church, Wickham Bishop, arriving just as Craig with his Parents, Best Men and Ushers arrived.  This allowed us to get some great informal pictures of them before the more arranged portraits.

Essex wedding photographerThe Guests were arriving and made their way into the Church.  The flower girls waited patiently for Carly to arrive and it wasn’t long before she did.  Taking her Father’s arm she walked into the Church.  After the service Carly and Craig led their Guests outside, greeted some of them before it was time to get on with the requested family pictures.  Once finished Guests lined the pathway and threw confetti over Carly and Craig before they got in the car to go to Forrester Park Wedding Reception. Forrester Park Wedding PhotographersForrester Park is between Maldon and Tiptree, Essex, near the village of Great Totham and was the chosen Wedding Venue for Carly and Craig’s Wedding Reception.  The Drinks Reception was held in the grounds of Forrester Park, with Guests looking for the shade as the sun was shining brightly and the temperature was rising! We captured some informal pictures during this time and in between took a few smaller group pictures and fun bridal party pictures.  Having a little time before the ‘everybody’ picture and the Wedding Breakfast, Carly, Craig and ourselves went for a quick walk around the grounds for a few pictures of them.  After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches, everybody enjoyed the evening sunshine and the evening Guests joined them.  Carly and Craig asked to do some relaxed more informal pictures which were were more than happy to take so off we went for a little while.  What a fun time we had!

Maldon Essex Photographer Essex As we returned, more of their Evening Guests had arrived and after talking to them for a little while, it was time for the First Dance.  Whilst the dancing carried on we kept a close eye on the sun going down, which was producing some wonderful colours in the sky.  A wonderful sunset followed!  Tiptree Wedding Photographer EssexThank you to Carly and Craig for wanting to do such a variety of pictures. Lots of familiar faces at this Wedding!  It was nice to see Debbie, Steve (Craig’s Parents) and Jack (brother) and Hayley (Craig’s sister) and James with their two children, Chloe, who was the beautiful Flowergirl, and Oliver.

Wedding Photography Gosfield Hall – Emma and David booked us for their Wedding  in 2012 and now it was finally here! It was a beautiful day and extremely hot for their Wedding at Gosfield Hall. The Roccoco Suite at Gosfield Hall was where we made our way to when we arrived at Gosfield Hall.  Emma, her Mother and the Bridesmaids were having their hair and make-up done and with lots of details and accessories to photograph, it was a busy time for us all!

Wedding Photography Gosfield HallDavid and his Groomsmen were making their final preparations before having their a few pictures taken. Once the girls were ready we took a few  portraits of them and Emma. The Wedding Ceremony was being held outside in the Courtyard. The Guests were shown to their seats outside at the last minute before the Ceremony was due to begin as it was an extremely hot day. Emma took her Mother’s arm, came down the stairs and waited for the music to start for her entrance. The shade was in great demand once Emma and David had exchanged their vows and signed the Register! Essex Wedding Photographer Emma and David then led their Guests to the steps of Gosfield Hall for the Drinks Reception.  After socialising for a little while, it was time to get on with the family group pictures, followed by the fun Bridal pictures.  Before the Wedding Breakfast there was a short time for us to take Emma and David for a walk around the grounds for their pictures. Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography – We arrived at Louise’s home for her preparation photographs prior to Louise and Stephen’s Wedding Ceremony at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon.  Preparations were well in hand and Emily, Louise and Stephen’s daughter was enjoying watching what was going on! With the details photographed, Isobel, the Bridesmaid got ready whilst Louise dressed Emily before getting herself ready.  Emily was wonderful, smiling constantly, providing us with some nice images,  a ‘thank you’ to Isobel for helping us as well.  Meanwhile, Louise was putting on her lovely Wedding Dress and it wasn’t long before she came downstairs for a few pictures before we left for Crabbs Barn.  The earlier rain had disappeared and the forecast for the day was looking good and so it continued when we got to Crabbs Barn. Crabbs Barn Wedding Photography EssexWe took a few pictures of Stephen and his Best Man, Dan, then left them to continue their duties. • Is your Essex Photographer still in business?

We have had three instances in the last few days which remind us how long we have been in business as an Essex photographer …. and it’s still here.

Firstly a call to replace a damaged picture of the Mayor from 1998 – as it turns out although we still have our 1998 negatives we did not start our Mayors portraits until 1999! We will be doing a scan, retouch the damage and reframe; Secondly, the Matron of Honour on a recent wedding said “you did my first wedding in 1988”; and thirdly we bumped into Helen and Stefan who are celebrating their Silver Wedding this month. It is really nice to see our past clients, if you see us do say ‘hello’.

Helen & Stefan – if you read this, do get in touch a for complimentary Silver Wedding portrait rather than a rather hasty casual snap!

  • Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding, Kelvedon for Elizabeth & Ryan

Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding – Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon was the chosen Wedding Venue for Elizabeth and Ryan’s evening Wedding Ceremony and Reception.  We arrived at Crabbs Barn and met Ryan, together with his brother who was the Best Man.  In between Ryan welcoming the Guests we took a couple of pictures of him together with members of his family before it was time for him to see the Registrars.  Elizabeth arrived shortly after with her daughter, who was the Flowergirl, and her sisters who were the Bridesmaids. We managed to get a couple of pictures of them all before it was time for the Ceremony to begin.  Following the Ceremony everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the grounds of Crabbs Barn. A little while later we took a few requested family pictures before the fun Bridal Party pictures and catching up on a few portraits of Elizabeth.Crabbs Barn Evening Wedding Enjoying the nice weather we later took Elizabeth and Ryan all around Crabbs Barn including taking some pictures in the lane and in the Cornfield before the confetti shots.
