The Old Rectory Wedding Photography for Catherine & Jamie
The Old Rectory, Dunton, was the chosen Wedding Venue for the winter Wedding of Catherine and Jamie. On the morning of their Wedding we arrived at Catherine’s Parents’ house to cover the final bridal preparations. All things were going well and they all seemed relaxed and enjoying the occasion. After taking a few detail and accessory pictures, it was time for the bridesmaids to get dressed. It was then Catherine’s turn to get dressed, helped by her Mum. Catherine’s Bridesmaids had not seen the dress so when Catherine walked into the room, some lovely moments were captured, she looked amazing!
The cars had arrived whilst we were taking the portrait pictures so afterwards we all went outside for some shots with the cars, then we left them to go the Venue. Jamie was chatting with a few Guests when we arrived at The Old Rectory, so before many more arrived we took Jamie and his Best Man, Simon, for their pictures. Catherine arrived a little while later in the glorious sunshine and made her way into the Manor House for the Civil Ceremony. After exchanging their vows, Catherine and Jamie went outside The Old Rectory for a couple of pictures before leaving for a quick drive in the classic American car . The beautiful weather allowed the Guests to mingle outside for the Drinks Reception for a short while, awaiting the return of Catherine and Jamie. It seemed a great opportunity to take an ‘Everybody’ picture with a difference with all the guests grouped around the car. We moved swiftly onto the requested family group pictures before the fun pictures.
The late afternoon sun kept us all warm (ish)! Catherine and Jamie wanted to make the most of the wonderful weather so we quickly got on with their together pictures around the grounds of The Old Rectory.
Moving inside we captured some informal pictures before the Wedding Breakfast. Following the meal, it was time for the Speeches. These provided some great reactions which we were delighted to capture. Once Catherine and Jamie’s evening Guests arrived, they cut their Wedding Cake before their First Dance. A brilliant rehearsed First Dance!
After taking a few evening pictures of their Guests, our day ended with some nightime pictures. A wonderful December Wedding and a lovely couple.

Ballathie House Wedding – Kerry & Chris
Ballathie House Wedding photography – We were delighted to be asked to be the Wedding Photographers as well as Wedding Guests for Kerry and Chris at the stunning Ballathie House Hotel in Stanley, Scotland. This was an extra special Wedding for us as we have known Kerry since she was born. Kerry was getting ready for her Wedding in a suite of rooms in the Hotel, so that is where we started off our day. We were greeted by Kerry and Chris’ children, full of excitement and why not! After taking some detail and accessory shots, David went off find Chris and his Groomsmen, whilst I stayed with the girls. Good timing! Chris had just arrived, so after capturing those moments, getting them altogether was the next job to do. It had been raining all morning but thankfully it had now stopped. David took a few pictures of the men outside Ballathie before they went inside to carry out their duties.
After the Ceremony Kerry and Chris left the room and headed towards the front of the Hotel, followed by their Guests. Kerry and Chris wanted to make the most of the weather for their pictures. Although wet outside, it was not cold at all, and with the help of Guests, minimum fuss, good organisation, we took a few requested family pictures. On a roll, with the agreement of Kerry and Chris, we continued with other pictures especially as the weather was holding up and we had light! A couple of pictures with Kerry and Chris with the children walking in the grounds with afternoon sun was a bonus! With these pictures achieved, Kerry and Chris had a short time to enjoy the Drinks Reception, whilst we caught up on some informal pictures..
It was soon time for Kerry and Chris’ ‘together’ pictures. The River Tay provided a wonderful backdrop which we used as well as making full use of the trees and the fallen autumn leaves. Wonderful colours, together with the changing colours in the sky. As the mist came down Chris wanted a picture with all the men in Kilts and a short while later it was time for the cake cutting.
Then the Wedding Guests took their places for the speeches before the Wedding Breakfast. After coverage of the Speeches, we finally became ‘Guests’ as well! Later, once the Band were set up, the evening celebrations began. Kerrry and Chris’ evening Guests arrived, and soon it was time for the First Dance. A little while later the Ceilidh began, the dance floor was full! After capturing some dancing pictures, we put our cameras down and joined the party! A wonderful Ballathie House Wedding!
Update! – some kind words Kerry and Chris sent after receiving their finished wedding album. Click here.

Wedding Photographer The Fennes for Caroline & Simon
Wedding Photographer The Fennes
Our Wedding Photography coverage of Caroline and Simon’s Wedding started at The Fennes Estate, Bocking on a bright and dry but chilly day. Caroline was in the final stages of having her hair done with the Bridesmaids, Flowergirls and Pageboys getting dressed. Simon was having a few pictures taken with his Groomsmen outside, with the ‘Back to the Future’ Delorean, which was going to take him to St Mary’s Church, Bocking, for the Wedding. It wasn’t long before Caroline got dressed with the help of her Mum and her Bridesmaids and she was ready for a few pictures.
David and I then left them to go to the Church. Many of Caroline and Simon’s Guests came on the Routemaster bus and as they arrived at the Church we took some arrival pictures as they made their way into the Church. Caroline arrived at the Church and as it was quite cold made her way quickly into Church for some warmth! After the Church service we quickly took a couple of family pictures before Caroline and Simon walked down the path and were showered in confetti. Once back at Fennes, the car took centre stage for a little while, making for some different pictures. With Caroline and Simon’s Guests enjoying the Drinks Reception inside as well, we managed to find a few minutes to take Caroline and Simon around Fennes for a few pictures of them together.
Later we used the Gold Room inside the House for a few requested family pictures before the Wedding Breakfast commenced. The Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and then it was time for the evening celebrations to begin. Caroline and Simon’s evening Guests started to arrive, so we took a few informal pictures of them before the cutting of the Wedding Cake and the First Dance. Happy to have been the wedding photographer The Fennes for another day and happy with the pictures that we had taken throughout the day we said our goodbyes.

Parklands Wedding Photographer for Kerry and Richard
Parklands Wedding Photographer for Kerry and Richard
It was a beautiful day for Kerry and Richard’s Wedding at Quendon Hall. Our day started with Kerry’s bridal preparations in the Changing Rooms, where she was assisted by her Bridesmaid, Rachael. David went to find Richard who was downstairs to take a few pictures of him before the Ceremony. Kerry moved to the Red Room for a few pictures, whilst the Guests were arriving and being shown to their seats. A short time later Kerry took her Father’s arm and entered the Banqueting Hall for the Ceremony. Afterwards Kerry and Richard led their Guests outside, not quite believing the wonderful late autumnal weather! Their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception and during the afternoon joined Kerry and Richard for a few family and friends pictures around the fountain. Kerry and Richard wanted some pictures around the grounds of Parklands as well as in the rooms in the house. Leaving the Wedding Guests for a short while, off we went.
Returning, the Guests showered Kerry and Richard with confetti before the Wedding Breakfast. This is where we ceased being Parklands wedding photographers for Kerry and Richard’s special day. A lovely small, relaxed Wedding.

Wedding Photos Fennes for Tracey & Robert
Wedding Photos Fennes
Wedding photos Fennes for the wedding of Tracey & Robert. It was a nice day and on arrival at Fennes we made our way upstairs to find the girls. There was great excitement and laughter which we caught on camera! With Tracey’s details and accessories photographed the girls continued their preparations.
Robert was having a few pictures taken outside Fennes before greeting the Wedding Guests. After taking a few portraits of all the girls once they were ready, it was time for Tracey to meet with the Registrars before the Ceremony.
Tracey’s son was giving her away so after taking his arm they made their way into the Pavilion. Following the Ceremony, Tracy and Robert led their Guests outside for the Drinks Reception. There were a few requested pictures, including some fun pictures. Some nice informal pictures of the Guests were taken whilst everybody socialised in the sunshine.
Fennes wedding photos Later we took Tracey and Robert for a short time around the grounds for their together pictures. Not only are the grounds lovely at Fennes, so are the rooms in the house! Tracey and Robert wanted a few pictures inside and we managed to squeeze them in before it was time for confetti and the Receiving Line. The Wedding Breakfast followed and that is where we took our leave. A lovely time!

Wedding Photography Braxted Park for Sarah-Jayne & Michael
Wedding Photography Braxted Park – Braxted Park was the superb Essex Wedding Venue Sarah Jayne and Michael chose for their Wedding. It was a dry autumnal day when we arrived at Braxted Park on the morning of the Wedding. Sarah-Jayne and her Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Bride’s Changing Room with all things going smoothly. Michael was outside having a few pictures taken with his Best Man and Ushers before the Wedding Guests started to arrive.
With final preparations complete the girls were having some photos taken before it was time for the Ceremony. With the Guests seated in the Orangery, Sarah-Jayne took her Father’s arm and they walked the short distance to the front of the room for the Ceremony to begin. Following the Ceremony, Sarah-Jayne and Michael had a couple of minutes to themselves whilst their Guests were being shown the way to the Walled Garden. We then took Sarah-Jayne and Michael through the House for a few pictures before they joined their Guests on the steps. After the picture of everyone the Guests lined the path to the Walled Garden for the confetti throwing before the Drinks Reception. The weather was still holding so everybody mingled outside while we completed the few requested family pictures. We made the most of the hard standing areas, and took these pictures plus a few fun ones as the grass was a little damp. Taking a little time to take Sarah-Jayne and Michael away for a few together pictures by the Lake and Driveway proved to be the right thing to do just before the rain arrived!
We captured some nice images before we returned a little while later in time for the Wedding Breakfast. The pavilion looked lovely and once Sarah-Jayne and Michael were seated the meal was served. Coverage of the Speeches followed and a while later the Evening Guests arrived. Sarah-Jayne tossed her bouquet just before the happy couple took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Braxted Park at night looks beautiful and before we left we took a few pictures of Sarah-Jayne and Michael by the fountain.
