Our Vaulty Manor Wedding Photography for Joanne and Barry started in the morning at Joanne and Barry’s home. Jo was getting ready there with her Bridesmaids. All preparations were running smoothly and after taking pictures of Joanne’s dress and accessories, the girls got dressed. Joanne’s Mother and Father arrived with Mum then assisting Joanne with the final preparations.
After a few family and girls’ pictures we left them to go to Vaulty Manor. The men were all there so we got on with taking a few pictures of them outside.
When it was time, everyone made their way inside for the Civil Ceremony. Joanne arrived soon after and once she had seen the Registrars took her Father’s arm and with the Bridesmaids leading the way, followed them into Vaulty Manor. It was nice to see Susie (Registrar) again, we photographed her Wedding at Stock Brook Manor in 2006 and have also taken family pictures since.
After the Ceremony, the Guests went outside with hands full of confetti and waited for Joanne and Barry to appear. This they did, so after being covered in confetti we got on with taking the requested group pictures. Some fun Bridal pictures followed before Joanne and Barry had a few minutes to talk to their Guests. The forecast was not good, so we had to keep things moving and we were aware we needed to take Joanne and Barry for their pictures. Making sure we had brollies to hand, we went off around the grounds, achieving some nice pictures in the daffodils.
Finishing their pictures, the rain started to fall, and by the time Joanne and Barry were walking back to Vaulty Manor, that signalled the end of outside pictures for the day! The Greeting Line preceded the Wedding Breakfast with the Speeches following. The Best Man’s Speech was superb, very amusing and we captured some great reactions. During the evening we took a few pictures of Joanne and Barry upstairs in between the arrival of their evening Guests. Before the First Dance Joanne and Barry cut their Wedding Cake, then the Guests joined them on the dance floor. Not long afterwards, it was time for us to say goodbye. A lovely day!
We met with Vicky and Phil one evening to go over the final details of their Wedding at Prested Hall in a few weeks time. After talking about their Wedding we went out to take a few pictures of them in the early evening sunshine.
David and I prefer to get to know our couples a little bit better before their Wedding Day so we enjoy meeting them at a convenient time and place. We met up with Tracy and Ben one afternoon a few weeks ago at Hadleigh Country Park. Deciding to go for a walk and take some pictures, first of all, was a good call, it was dry and bright and not too windy. By the time we had finished we were windswept, so it was nice to stop for a hot drink and a chat! Tracy and Ben are getting married in the summer at The Lawn, Rochford.
Gill and Chris chose the stunning Gosfield Hall for their Wedding and we were delighted to be asked to photograph their big day. Bridal preparations were taking place upstairs at Gosfield Hall when we arrived. Everything was running smoothly and Gill, her Mother, Val, Father, Cliff, and Sister, Nicola were all very relaxed. Meanwhile Chris was getting ready with this Best Man, Richard, and his Ushers, Steve, Mike and Graham. With preparations and details completed and ready, Chris then spent a little time greeting some of the Guests in between having some pictures taken.
Whilst this was going on Gill was getting dressed in the Rococco Suite assisted by her Mum and Sister. Everybody looked lovely! The Rococco Suite is a lovely room for Bridal portraits etc, and as time was on our side we got on with these taking full advantage of the setting.
After seeing the Registrars, Gill took her Father’s arm and made her way to the Queen’s Gallery for the Civil Ceremony. Following the Ceremony, Gill, Chris and their Guests went into the Salon for the Drinks Reception.
It was raining at this time but the forecast was for it was to stop, so Gill and Chris enjoyed some social time with their Guests including being entertained by a Wedding Singer. This gave us ample opportunity for some informal pictures. Starting off inside at Gosfield Hall we got on with the few requested family pictures that Gil and Chris wanted before going off with them for a short while for their pictures. The rain had stopped earlier so after a few pictures of them inside Gosfield Hall we went outside.
Returning to their Guests, Gill and Chris had a little time before the Receiving Line. The Wedding Breakfast followed and then it was time for the Speeches. Speeches took a different spin today! Questions and Answers! It worked well! In between the end of the Wedding Breakfast and the evening celebrations we took a few more pictures of Gill and Chris together with some special requested pictures. The First Dance followed the cake cutting and after capturing a flavour of the rest of the evening celebrations it was time for us to leave. Such a relaxed, enjoyable and rewarding day!

It was a windy but dry day for Rebecca and Michael’s Wedding at the wonderful Gosfield Hall. Arriving in the morning we met with Rebecca and her sisters, Tareena and Nahida, who were having their hair and make-up done upstairs. David went off to meet with Michael and his Groomsmen who were downstairs Once all the men were present the Courtyard was the setting for their pictures. With some formal and then fun images captured, Guests were arriving so they greeted them and socialised in the bar area. Whilst this was happening, I was keeping an eye on the ‘getting ready’ pictures in between capturing details of Rebecca’s Wedding Dress and accessories which were in the Rococco Suite. Everything was running smoothly but as always the last hour seems to go twice as quick so as soon as Rebecca’s veil was on, it was time to move and get dressed in the Rococco Suite. Rebecca looked stunning in her Wedding Dress and without further ado we got on with her Bridal Portraits. Rebecca’s Brother, Shafi, was giving her away, so after he saw her for the first time we had a little time for a few pictures before the Registrars appeared. The Flowergirls, Megan and Ellie, then led the way along the corridor for the Ceremony in the Queens Gallery.
Once the formalities were completed we capturing some relaxed pictures as Rebecca and Michael returned down the aisle before making their way downstairs into the Grand Salon. As it happened Michael and Rebecca had a few minutes to themselves which for us resulted in some nice natural images. Their Guests joined them for the Drinks Reception and Canapes, allowing us time for the informal pictures. After a little whilst socialising it was time to get on with the requested Group pictures and some Bridal Party pictures. Although chilly, these pictures were taken outside in the Courtyard before returning to the warmth of Gosfield Hall!
A very quick walk around the outside of Gosfield Hall took place a little later on, well done Rebecca and Michael, more than a touch windswept! We took a few requested pictures just before the Greeting Line and theWedding Breakfast. There were some wonderful expressive images during the Speeches which of course we were pleased to get.
Everybody then made their way downstairs for the evening reception. Rebecca and Michael cut their Wedding Cake then took to the dance floor for their First Dance.
After capturing a few relaxed evening pictures we said our goodbyes and left them to continue their evening celebrations. A lovely day and it was nice to work with Luke (Videographer) Look Back and Remember.
A Christmas Wedding at Fennes! Beth and Lee chose the popular Wedding Venue The Fennes Estate for their Wedding. Arriving at Fennes, meeting with the girls was our first job. David then went off to find the guys who were in the cottages making their final preparations. Beth and the girls were having a great time upstairs in the changing rooms, having their hair and make-up done. Once Lee and the men were ready, looking splendid in their RAF uniforms, they made their way over to the house. After taking a few portraits of Lee and a few pictures of them all Lee and his Groomsmen went into the house as the Guests were starting to arrive. By this time the girls were in the final stages of getting ready and once Beth’s Mother was ready, she assisted Beth to get dressed. Beth looked lovely!
Taking a few pictures of Beth, her Bridesmaids and Flowergirls, Beth then went down the stairs to where her Father was. The Bridesmaids led the way into the Pavilion for the Civil Ceremony.
After the Ceremony everybody went to the front of Fennes for the Drinks Reception. Beth and Lee socialised with their Guests for a little while before it was time to get on with the pictures. It was not raining so for the requested family pictures we went outside for a short while before doing a few more inside. As these were taking place everyone enjoyed the mulled wine and mincepies. Later on, after Beth had changed her footwear, we took Beth and Lee for a few minutes over to the bridge for their pictures.
Guests threw confetti over Beth and Lee when we returned before it was time for the Receiving Line. The Wedding Breakfast was held in the Pavilion with the Speeches following. The best Man’s speech was extremely well planned! There was time afterwards for a few relaxed pictures of Beth and Lee before the cake cutting.
Surprising their Guests with the light up letters on the dance floor Beth and Lee took to the floor for their First Dance. After capturing a flavour of the evening celebrations we said our goodbyes. Thanks to Sharon and all the staff at Fennes.
