Prested Hall Wedding Photography for Hayley & Jason

It was nice to be back for more Prested Hall Wedding Photography. This time for the Wedding of Hayley and Jason. Hayley, her Parents and Bridesmaids were getting ready in the Prested Apartments, situated in the Spa complex. We started our coverage from there as the girls were having their hair and make-up finished.

Hayley’s Dress and accessories were over in the main house so we made sure pictures of these were taken. Preparations were going well and it wasn’t long before the girls were ready to transfer to Prested Hall itself.  Hayley’s timings were good and allowed us time to get the required photographs with her Bridesmaids and parents.Recommended Wedding Photographer Essex

    Carriage Ride to Church

The Horse and Carriage was ready for Hayley as we finished the pictures to take her with her Father to All Saints Church, Feering. David and I left to get to the Church before them and take a few pictures of Jason and his Groomsmen, who were very relaxed and enjoying the moments. We managed to complete taking Jason’s pictures before too many of the Guests arrived, then left Jason, his Best Man and Ushers to continue greeting them.

It was a beautiful day, ideal for arriving at Church in a Horse and Carriage. After taking a couple of pictures, Hayley and her Father walked towards to the Church. The Bridesmaids were first to enter the Church, then Hayley and her Father followed. Wow! The atmosphere, emotions, reactions were fantastic and these continued all the way through the service. Some wonderful moments captured! Essex Church Wedding PhotographerAfter the Church service, everybody came outside and after a few minutes we got on with the requested family pictures.  It was nice for Jason to have a large contingent of his family over from Australia, where he originates from. With the group pictures completed the Guests threw confetti over Hayley and Jason.

Hayley and Jason then enjoyed the ride to Prested Hall for the Reception. The Drinks Reception awaited them and their Guests on their arrival and there was time for everyone to socialise. During the rest of the afternoon we took some fun Bridal Party pictures and a few of Hayley and Jason by themselves.Prested Hall Recommended Wedding Photographers

    The Wedding Breakfast

The Marquee looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast and when the time was right the Guests everyone took their seats. The Speeches followed the meal before all the guests went outside to enjoy the evening sunshine.  Prested Hall Wedding Photography

    The Evening

Hayley and Jason were pleased we asked them to create a few more pictures in the evening light. Moving around Prested Hall we ended up with a variety of nice relaxed and fun evening pictures. The Evening Guests were arriving when we returned so we left Hayley and Jason greeting them.

Later after cutting their Wedding Cake, they took to the dance floor for their First Dance. During the evening we captured a few informal pictures whilst waiting for the sunset. We whisked Hayley and Jason away for a little while by car for the sunset. Not to be missed! It was spectacular! Recommended Wedding Photographer Prested HallThis ended our coverage of Hayley and Jason’s wonderful Wedding. A lovely couple! A great Wedding! Thank you to Hayley and Jason for such  a memorable Wedding. A mention to Rachel of Prested Hall, it was nice working with you as always.

Wedding Photographer Channels for Nicola & Nick

Our next assignment was Wedding Photographer Channels for Nicola and Nick. We began our coverage of their Wedding joining Nicola at Channels where she was getting ready. The preparations went well considering the number of bodies in a fairly small space on a very hot day!

Nick and his Groomsmen were  waiting until the last moment when they had to put on their jackets for their pictures! After taking some pictures of Nick, his Groomsmen and Parents the Bridesmaids got changed whilst Nicola was having the final touches applied to her hair and make-up. They then helped Nicola get into her Wedding Dress.Channels Wedding Photographer

    The Wedding Ceremony

After a few pictures  it was time for the Ceremony. Nicola and her attendants made their way outside where Nick and the guests were waiting

After the Ceremony and with their glasses of bubbly Nicola and Nick led their Guests to the area in the grounds for the Drinks Reception.

Unplanned, a Receiving Line occurred! Actually, this turned out ok as the Guests were served with Reception Drinks and could escape into the shade! Whilst this was going on we took some informal pictures.Channels Wedding Photographer A short time later we got on with the requested family pictures. Later on the afternoon we took the Nicola, Nick and the Bridal Party for a few pictures around the front of Channels.  Once these were completed the Bridal Party returned to the Drinks Reception whilst we took Nicola and Nick’s pictures. The trees provided the shade which was very welcome! Wedding Photographer Channels

    The Confetti and Wedding Breakfast

Nicola and Nick were showered in confetti just before the wedding Breakfast.

The Speeches followed the meal. Not to be missed was taking some pictures in the evening light so we then took Nicola and Nick to the lake for a walk around for a few minutes. As their Evening Guests had arrived it was time for the cake cutting which was then followed by the dancing.  First of all Nicola and Nick had the chair dance the Hora, around the dance floor before they then had their First Dance. It was a delight to be back photographing at The Fennes Estate for the Wedding of Katie and Bill. Arriving at Fennes, it was sunny and preparations for the outdoor Ceremony were in full swing. Bill was with his Groomsmen getting ready in the Lodge whilst Katie was with her Mother and Bridesmaids upstairs in the newly refurbished Bridal Changing Room. After taking a few pictures  to capture Bill’s final preparations, the men were ready.  Bill and his Groomsmen had time to socialise with the Guests who were arriving after we had finished.Wedding Photographer Fennes The girls’ preparation pictures were taken and they were in the process of getting dressed. Just before we got on with Katie’s pictures, her Father came upstairs to see his daughter all dressed ready for her Wedding. Katie looked wonderful and after this moment we got on with the rest of the pictures. It was soon time for  Katie to take her Dad’s arm and make her way outside for the Ceremony in the Gazebo. A lovely setting! Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesFollowing the Ceremony the Drinks Reception was held in the gardens. Everyone enjoyed mingling, eating and drinking in the afternoon sun.  In between times we got on with the requested family group pictures ending up with some fun Bridal Party pictures. The breeze proved a bit of a nuisance during the taking of some of the pictures  but we just moved to a different area and carried on. Janine and Richard booked us for Cressing Temple Barns wedding photography.  It was a dry bright although windy day when we arrived at Cressing Temple. Cressing Temple Barn Wedding PhotographerJanine, driven to Cressing Temple by her Father, arrived a short time later. Janine and Richard’s daughter Grace had had a sleep in the car and was a bit surprised at what was happening when she woke up! We captured the moments and with the minimum fuss were able to take a few pictures of Janine, her Mother and Father and Grace. After seeing the Registrars, Janine took her Father’s arm and went into the room for the Ceremony.Cressing Temple Wedding Photographer The walled garden provided a beautiful backdrop to some pictures afterwards. • Skinners Hall London Wedding Photography for Kristina & Stefan

Skinners Hall London Wedding Photography for Kristina & Stefan

David and I were so looking forward to Kristina and Stefan’s Wedding at the wonderful Skinners Hall, London.  We had visited the wonderful Skinners’ Hall a few months previous but as always on the day of the Wedding it was nice to be there well ahead of the expected.

Skinners Hall London Wedding Photographer It was a warm but overcast day and we had our fingers crossed it would remain, the outside being an important part of the plans as well as the inside. Arriving at Skinners’ Hall we were warmly welcomed by the staff and then were left to go about our job. Going into the Library upstairs we met with Stefan who was  enjoying the calmness of the day!  After a few words with him we then went off to find Kristina. Kristina was with her Mother having her hair and make up done downstairs in one of the rooms. After capturing a few pictures we left them to it for a little while whilst we went off to see how other things were progressing. Stefan’s Parents had arrived so he had left the Library to greet them and sort out a few arrangements. This worked really well as we could then take pictures of Kristina’s Wedding Dress and Accessories as well as Stefan’s attire which were in the Library.  Moving between the two rooms worked well for us and it wasn’t long before Kristina’s preparations were complete and she went to get dressed.Skinners'Hall London Wedding Photographer Stefan was finishing his preparations elsewhere, then had some pictures taken. Once Kristina was ready and just before other members of Kristina’s family joined her we took a few pictures. The wonderful setting of the Library worked well for all these pictures. London Wedding Photographers Skinners Hall capture the moment Guests were arriving and socialising outside in the lovely Courtyard before a little later taking their seats in the Outer Hall. Kristina and Stefan wanted to have an informal relaxed Wedding and chose to see each other before the Wedding and walked down the stairs and into the Outer Hall together for the Ceremony.  Afterwards the Drinks Reception was held outside. The Roof Garden provided a beautiful area for socialising as well as for some requested family pictures and of course plenty of informal pictures. Skinners Hall London Wedding PhotographsWe took Kristina and Stefan for a few minutes around the property for a few pictures of them together. We were spoilt for choice with so many areas around the property but also careful not to take too much time. Getting them back to their Guests with minimal time away was important to the couple. The magnificent Banqueting Hall was where the Wedding Breakfast was going to take place. When it was time the guests made their way into the Hall. Before the meal Stefan made a Speech which was warmly received. After the meal took  Kristina and Stefan outside for a few evening pictures. The Courtyard was perfect for these.Skinners Hall London Wedding PhotographyReturning, Kristina and Stefan cut their Wedding Cake and then took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Just before we finished our coverage we took a couple of night pictures. Wedding Photos Skinners Hall LondonWhat a fantastic day! Kristina and Stefan, you are a nice couple, you had such a memorable day, thank you for letting us be a part of it. It was so lovely to see Laura and Jonathan(Stefan’s Brother) again, who were married at Braxted Park, Essex, in 2013 and used us as their Wedding Photographers. It was nice to meet Laura & Jonathan’s daughter Alisa who was a wonderful Flowergirl! Thank you for the recommendation. Finally, a massive ‘thank you’ to everyone at Skinners’ Hall, especially Indre, who is the Co-ordinator, it was nice to meet you again and a pleasure to work with you. Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography for Lucy & Joe

Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography for Lucy and Joe was on a beautiful Spring Day. Our day started at Crowne Plaza Resort Five Lakes.Lucy and Joe were both getting ready. After saying ‘hello’ and a few words with Lucy and the girls, David went off to see Joe. I stayed with the Lucy and the girls and captured the action as it happened as well as taking pictures of the details and accessories. There was a lot going on but all was calm and collected. Joe had a couple of pictures taken before he and his Groomsmen left to go  to St. Peters Church, Great Totham.Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer Marney Whilst this was happening  Lucy and the girls were on the balcony in the room with their glasses of champagne having their picture taken before getting dressed. It was important for  Lucy to see her Father’s reaction when she was dressed and the time as always was going very fast. With the help of her Mum and Bridesmaids this was achieved quickly and we had a little time for a few other pictures before we had to leave. St Peter’s Church, Great Totham was where the marriage was taking place and once we arrived we took some Guest arrival pictures, as well as a few of Joe and his Groomsmen.St Peter's Church Great Totham Wedding PhotographerWaiting at the Church were the Flowergirl Estelle-Rose and Ben,the Pageboy, who were eager to see Lucy arrive at the Church gate.  After getting a glimpse of her they rushed back to the Church Door to surprise her. The Guests climbed aboard the Layer Marney Bus as Lucy and Joe were driven to Layer Marney Tower.  The Drinks Reception was held outside in front of the Tower so the Guests took a drink and when Lucy and Joe arrived at the bottom gate they made their way down there.  Lucy and Joe wanted to walk upto the Tower  with the Guests blowing bubbles over them and this is what happened. Some nice pictures.Layer Marney Tower Wedding Photography Lucy and Joe had time to spend with their Guests during the afternoon as well as us taking the requested family group pictures. During the afternoon Alan Nunn, the Magician and Arioso String Quartet provided the entertainment.  Later whilst we took Lucy and Joe for a walk around the grounds of Layer Marney the children plus their Mums and Dads went into the Barn to see the lambs.  If wanted they could give the lambs their milk which some did. When we returned the Guests made their way into the Long Gallery for the Wedding Breakfast.  Lucy and Joe were announced in and they took their seats at the top table ready for the meal to be served. The Speeches followed and once this were finished we made a dash outside for the sunset.  Phew! We just made it in time for some nice pictures. Recommended Wedding Photographer Layer MarneyWe finished with some evening pictures in front of the Tower before going inside.  The Band was ready so Lucy and Joe took to the dance floor for their First Dance. After taking a few informal group pictures of the evening it was time for us to say our ‘goodbyes’. A long day but a most rewarding day and a nice Wedding. It was nice to see Julia of W. Wedding Photography Fennes for Paula & Jason

Wedding Photography Fennes – Great to be back at the wonderful Fennes a few days after our previous Wedding there.  It is a brilliant Venue with superb staff to make your Wedding Day so special. Paula and Jason’s Wedding was no exception! It was overcast but dry when we arrived at Fennes on the morning of the Wedding.  We headed up to the Bridal Changing Room where Paula was getting ready. Everybody was very relaxed and preparations were going well. The men were getting ready in the Lodges so David made his way over to them to see how things were progressing. Very well was the answer, so after capturing a few of these pictures, Jason and his Groomsmen made their way over to the House for a few pictures. Afterwards, as the Guests arrived, Jason greeted them whilst we captured a few arrival pictures as well. The girls were well on their way by this time and soon ready for their pictures. Paula’s Brother came to join us as we started as he was going to be giving her away. Wedding Photographer FennesAfter a few pictures it was time for the Civil Ceremony.  The Pavilion looked lovely, the Guests were seated, the Harpist was playing and all was ready for Paula to make her entrance. Following the Ceremony everyone walked up to the front of the house for the Drinks Reception.  It was raining outside so everybody socialised inside for a while. Fortunately, the weather did break, long enough for us to take some requested family pictures outside. Once these were completed we took Paula and Jason for a very quick walk around the grounds. Recommended Wedding Photographer FennesIt was drizzling a little bit by now so we started with a brolly but were able to discard it after a couple of pictures as it had virtually stopped.. It would have been a shame if we didn’t include the bluebells and blossom in Paula and Jason’s pictures so were very lucky. Riding our luck we did a few fun Bridal Party pictures outside before going back inside for to take a few more.Wedding Photography FennesPaula and Jason then carried on with talking to their Guests. During the rest of the time before the Wedding Breakfast we took a variety of informal pictures. The Speeches provided some good reactions which we were there to capture. During the time before the Evening Guests arrived we took a few pictures in Fennes as it was raining of Paula and Jason and some group shots as of their Evening Guests. Later Paula and Jason cut their Wedding Cake  before taking to the dance floor for their First Dance.Wedding Photographer Fennes Essex A lovely couple! Congratulations Paula and Jason on your Wedding and thank you for asking us to photograph your Wedding.

Pre-Wedding Pictures Hylands Park for Nicola and Nick

We met Nicola and Nick one morning a couple of months ago at Hylands Park, Chelmsford. First of all we went for a walk around the grounds taking a few pictures of them. Happy with the results we then went for a coffee and a chat to the teashop to discuss the details of their Wedding Day. This discussion works really well giving us a good idea of what is planned for the wedding day. Nicola and Nick are getting married this summer at Channels.
