  • Leez Priory Wedding Photography – Anna & Leon

Leez Priory Wedding Photography for Anna and Leon turned out to be our last wedding before Lockdown!

Anna and Leon chose the stunning Wedding Venue, Leez Priory for their early spring Wedding this year.

    A Lovely Spring Day

It was a lovely day, dry and bright. Arriving at Leez Priory we went to see Anna who was upstairs with her Mother and Bridesmaids. Hair and make-up were being carried out so we got on with taking a few pictures of this and of Anna’s Wedding Dress and accessories.

    The Groom’s Party

Leon and his Groomsmen arrived shortly after us and went off to finish their preparations. Once they were ready they had a few pictures taken outside. The Pageboys including Anna and Leon’s son, Theo, looked great in their suits.

Once the Bridesmaids were ready they assisted Anna with her dress.

The Wedding Guests arrived they socialised in the bar area before moving upstairs to the Great Hall when it was time for the Wedding Ceremony.

There was time to take a variety of pictures before it was time to go downstairs for Anna to meet with the Registrars. Anna then made her way with her Mother, Flowergirl and Bridesmaids to the Great Hall. Before entering the room, Anna took her Mum’s arm and then they walked in.

    Wedding in The Great Hall

Theo was wondering what was going on at this point and so he joined Anna and Leon for the whole of the Ceremony, not wanting to leave their side. After Anna and Leon exchanged their vows, they moved to the table to sign the Register. Theo did not want to be left out so he joined them. Once the formalities were completed the three of them walked down the aisle and made their way outside.

Making the most of the weather we got on straight away with a few requested pictures. These pictures went really well, we had everybody there that we needed. We finished off with the bridal party pictures before everyone went inside. We knew we would have some time later on to take Anna and Leon for a short walk around the grounds for their pictures.

Anna and Leon and everyone else then enjoyed the Drinks Reception. The children during the Drinks Reception had a treat in store. Marko the Magician gave a entertaining magic show for all the children. This event went down very well with the children and actually the adults as well! Some lovely captured pictures, not forgetting the adults enjoying the Drinks Reception as well.

    Time for Relaxed Portraits

We took Anna and Leona for a short walk around Leez Priory which is always a must. Some nice pictures by the lake and daffodils. Afterwards before moving up to the Coach House for the Wedding Breakfast everyone showered Anna and Leon with petals.

The meal was served, then it was time for the Speeches. Anna contributed and Anna and Leon revealed the gender of their next child to be born. This answered the questions asked during the day! Afterwards everyone left the Coach House and returned to the main house. A mixture of pictures were taken during the late afternoon and early evening before the Evening Guests arrived, including a picture of Anna and Leon by the Tower.

The Band was set up in the Carriageway and started playing. The Guests watched and Leon joined in on his guitar. Anna and Leon cut their Wedding Cake a little time later and then the DJ called them into the room for their First Dance.

Our coverage of Anna and Leon’s Wedding then ended. A wonderful day! Lovely to catch up with Sarah, Anna’s sister and family again. Thank you Anna and Leon to ask us to do your Leez Priory Wedding Photography for your special day. Congratulations!

  • Wedding Photography at Leez Priory for Lucy & Adam

It was a beautiful late Autumn Wedding Day for the Wedding Photography at Leez Priory of Lucy and Adam. Our day started at Lucy’s Parents’ home as that was where Lucy was getting ready. We took a few preparation pictures but as space was a little limited we decided to leave the arranged pictures until later.

    St Martins, Little Waltham

The ceremony was at St Martins Church, Little Waltham and what a beautiful setting it was in. The sun was shining, the leaves from the trees had fallen and added to the wonderful colour. Adam was at the Church with his Groomsmen carrying out their duties when we arrived. A short interruption was all that was needed to create their pictures. They then resumed their duties greeting the Guests.

It was not long before it was time for the everyone to take their seats in the Church. The Bridesmaids arrived followed shortly afterwards by Lucy and and her Father. A lovely arrival in an old police car!

After the ceremony everyone went outside and we got on with the requested pictures. This was also our opportunity to quickly catch up with the pictures we had missed at Lucy’s parents house.

The Guests lined the path leading out of the Church and as Lucy and Adam walked down they threw confetti over them, before waving them off.

Arriving at Leez Priory Lucy, Adam and their Guests enjoyed the Reception Drinks. The Police car was very important at Lucy and Adam’s Wedding as Adam, his Father and Grandfather have been or are Policeman. The car made for some nice pictures. A few pictures of Lucy and Adam in front of Leez Priory were taken as well.

The picture of everybody happened a little later just before sunset. Lucy and Adam greeted their Guests in the Receiving Line before they sat down for the Wedding Breakfast in the Coach House. The Speeches followed, there were a few!

Wedding Photography Spains Hall for Vicki & Jonathan

Vicki and Jonathan booked us for their Spains Hall wedding photography for their big day in the early Autumn last year. On the morning of the Wedding we arrived at Spains Hall and met Vicki and the Girls in Crest Lodge.  Preparations were well in hand, although Vicki was going to get dressed over at the Hall in the Tapestry Room. With the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls dressed we all walked over to the Hall. Whilst the girls finished their preparations I finished off taking pictures of the details and accessories.  Meanwhile, David met up with Jonathan and his Best Man, and got on with taking a few pictures of them in the Stables before they walked over to the Hall.

Wedding Photographer Spains HallOnce Vicki was ready, her Father joined us upstairs for a few traditional portraits before it was time for the Wedding  Ceremony. The Wedding Guests took their seats in the Elizabethan Hall ready for the entrance of Vicki accompanied by her Dad.  After the Ceremony, Vicki and Jonathan had a few minutes to themselves before walking back through the Elizabethan Hall to go outside.  Their Guests were waiting for them and as they walked out into the sunshine, the Guests covered them with confetti.Wedding Photography Spains Hall Whilst everybody was in one place outside we decided to take the ‘everybody’ picture before they then walked around to the gardens of Spains Hall for the Drinks Reception. During the afternoon we took a few family pictures together with a few pictures of Vicki and Jonathan.  When it was time for the Wedding Breakfast the Guests made their way over to the Stables and Coach House giving us some extra time with Vicki and Jonathan.Spains Hall Wedding Photography After the Wedding Breakfast and the Speeches everyone enjoyed socialising on the terrace or walking around the grounds.  It was a lovely evening and we managed to get a little time with Vicki and Jonathan, before the arrival of the evening Guests, for some extra pictures, which included a wonderful sunset! Spains Hall WeddingJust before the cutting of the Wedding Cake Vicki tossed her bouquet and then Vicki and Jonathan took to the dance floor for the First Dance.  After capturing a flavour of the evening celebrations it was time for us to say goodbye.

  • Wedding Photography Fennes for Kirstie & Jason

    Wedding Photography Fennes

It was a bright but cold day when we arrived at Fennes to cover Kirstie and Jason’s Wedding Day. Kirstie was getting ready upstairs and Jason was getting ready in the cottage, so there was plenty of action going on to keep us busy! After a few pictures of Jason, his Best Man and Ushers they left to go to the Church.  When Kirstie, her Parents and Bridesmaids were ready we took a few pictures before it was time for us to leave for the Church, St Mary’s, Bocking. Fennes Wedding Photographer Guests were beginning to arrive by a Wedding Bus and Coach, but we had time to take a few pictures of Jason outside the Church, before he resumed his duties. The path leading up to St Mary’s Church makes for one of our favourite places for Guest arrival pictures which we took and captured some nice images.  It wasn’t long before Kirstie arrived.  Although it was still bright the temperature wasn’t increasing, so Kirstie, her Dad and the Bridesmaids didn’t waste any time getting from the car to the porch!  With the music playing Kirstie walked into the Church for the service to begin.  After the service Kirstie and Jason came down the aisle but didn’t go outside the door!  As a few pictures family pictures were requested, being extremely cold i,t was decided to do these pictures in the warmth of the Church! Afterwards the Guests lined the path for Kirstie and Jason to walk down, showering them in confetti. Kirstie and Jason returned to Fennes in the Coach with their Guests following them.Fennes Wedding Photographer After Kirstie and Jason had a short time with their Guests before Kirstie put her boots on for going over to the Bridge for a few of their together pictures.  During the afternoon we took pictures inside and outside Fennes as the weather held before it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. Whilst the Wedding Guests were being seated we made the most of a few moments with Kirstie and Jason in the Gold Room and Red Room resulting in some nice images. Essex Wedding Photography The Fennes Estate The Pavilion looked wonderful for the Wedding Breakfast.  After the Speeches, their Evening Guests arrived.  A couple of night shots and a couple of special group pictures ended our day. Wedding Photography Fennes A  beautiful Christmas Wedding, a wonderful couple!
