It was lovely to see Katie and Howard again for a Family picture session. The last time was when their daughter, Amelie , was only a few days old. This time Katie and Howard together with members of the family wanted a four generation picture together as well as a few other pictures including just the children.

It was lovely to hear from Donna and Sam again last year asking us if we could take some Home Family Photos for them. Donna and Sam were married in 2015 at Hintlesham Hall, Suffolk. Now they have a son, called Arthur. We went to their home to take the pictures. Arthur was good and loved having his pictures taken a.k.a. playing!!. He did keep us working hard though, as he liked to be on the move. Despite that we took some lovely family pictures and of Arthur alone. He  did stay still at some moments! We provided a mixture of colour, and black & white, our favourites are the B&W ones.

    Environmental Portraits

Out of the blue in the Autumn last year we received a phone call from Val who wanted some Environmental Portraits. We last saw Val about eight years ago. We first met Val and Matt a few years prior to that when we too pictures of  their first son Jake. Again for their son Oli and then again for their daughter Lexi!

Our conversation lasted a long time catching up on their lives since their return to the UK! Val and Matt’s family had now increased by three! Val and Matt wanted some informal environmental pictures taken of their family. A date and day was chosen and how lucky we were with the weather. We couldn’t of asked for a better Autumn day.

    Portraits in the park!

Off to the park we went! What a time we had, ending up with a variety of pictures.  It was great to meet Sam and the twins, Frankie and Ben for the first time and as well as seeing the rest of the family. It was a privilege to provide Val and Matt with a book of the memories of their family.

    Family Photography

It was nice to see Natalie and Craig again this time for Family Photography. They were married at Fennes in 2016 and now they have a son called Finley.  We got together with them and members of Natalie’s family for some family pictures at Natalie’s Parents’ house. Natalie and Craig wanted a selection of different group pictures including pictures with the little ones. It all worked well and we had an enjoyable time taking them.

Louise and Gary asked us to take some New Born Baby Photography of their son Ellis.  It was lovely to see Louise and Gary again and meet Ellis for the first time. We were pleased to be asked to take memories of the family. Ellis was so good and we ended up with pictures of him on his own and together with Mummy and Daddy. A couple of months ago we were booked for some Essex Family Portraits. Alison and Mike were married at Crabbs Barn in 2013 so it was lovely to meet up with them again. This time it was to meet their son, Max for the first time. We were commissioned to capture some portraits of  him and the three of them as a family. Max was only a couple of weeks old when we saw him but for someone so young he was awake and very aware of everything around him for most of the time. An enjoyable time spent with this family ending up with some nice pictures.

    Family Portraits Chelmsford

It was nice when Louise and Stephen got in touch with us a few months ago asking about some Family Portraits Chelmsford. They wanted some pictures taken then they could choose one as a present for Stephen’s Mum’s special Birthday. Ideally of the four grandchildren. When we photographed Louise and Stephen’s Wedding in 2014 at Crabbs Barn, they already had their daughter Emily. Now they also have have a son called Oliver. Stephen’s sister joined us on the arranged weekend morning at Louise and Stephen’s home with her two daughters.  It was pretty lively with a two year old, we had fun, and they ended up with a variety of pictures to choose from. We often hear ‘we have nowhere to take pictures’, a small space is just fine.

  • Baby and Family Pictures for Sarah and James

Baby and Family Pictures for Sarah and James

Having photographed their wedding it was now time for Sarah and James to have some baby and family pictures. They asked for some pictures of their baby daughter, Eliza and some of them as a family. We  arranged a convenient time and made arrangements to go and see them at their home. When we arrived two week old Eliza, was settled, but not knowing how long this would last we got on straight away with the job! Managing to take them in one quick session made a refreshing change.  We have recently had quite a few sessions that take a little while waiting for the baby to be content. It’s no problem either way, we are just happy to take the pictures. It was lovely to see Sarah and James again, we were their Wedding Photographers for their Wedding at Fennes in 2013. Meeting Eliza was lovely too, we hope to see them all again soon.

Rebecca got in touch with us a couple of months ago with regard to having some Home Family Portraits taken of her son, Ben,  together with her husband Steve and herself at their home.  Rebecca had been given one of our Gift Vouchers and now wanted to use it. Finding a convenient time and place to suit us all we went to Rebecca and Steve’s home one morning. We were able to take some pictures outside as well as inside providing Rebecca with a variety. Ben did very well but by the end he was ready for his sleep!

Family Pictures with the New Baby

It was lovely to hear from Alice and Peter again recently. We photographed their Church and Marquee Wedding in Tolleshunt D’Arcy last year and that was when we last saw them. Now they are the proud parents of Imogen! Alice and Peter wanted some pictures of Imogen as well as a couple of family pictures. We arranged to meet at their house one morning and were joined by Alice’s sister-in-law with her son, Rupert. Both Imogen and Rupert were good and after taking a few pictures of them individually we managed to capture a couple of pictures of them together. We took a few family pictures for Alice and Peter inside and then stepped outside.  The plan was to take a few outside but although it was dry and bright, the wind was blowing and it was quite chilly.  We worked quickly and made do with taking a couple of pictures as it was such a wonderful setting but we are looking forward to returning when Imogen is a bit older to take some more.
