  • Outdoor Family Portraits

It was lovely to see Nathan and Alison again to take some Outdoor Family Portraits. We arranged to meet at Pods Wood, Tiptree, one afternoon. It was a nice day and going for an enjoyable walk around the wood with Elodie and Rupert.

Talking was constant as we caught up with all the goings on within the family, whilst taking pictures as well. Environmental shoots are great, relaxing, and we always end up with a nice selection of pictures. Today was no exception. Looking forward to next time.

  • Family Portraits

We were delighted to be asked again by Joan and Dave to update their Family portraits. Over the years the family has extended and from time to time we have taken pictures for them. We have known this wonderful family from when we took Sam and Mike’s Wedding pictures at Crabbs Barn in 2012. Deciding the best place to get everyone together this time was at Mum and Dad’s house. One afternoon in the summer last year we arranged to go to them.

Garden pictures were what they wanted and the easiest to do and fortunately the weather was spot on. Dry and warm! Various family pictures as well as a few informal pictures were taken. So nice to meet Max for the first time, Sam and Mike’s son and to see again Rosie, their daughter. Catching up with Stacey and Chris again was nice as well, meeting again and seeing Chase for the first time.

In all a very enjoyable afternoon was had by all and some nice relaxed family portraits.

    Home Portraits

Richard got in touch with us last summer enquiring about taking some home portraits of his two children. Ideally the pictures would be taken in their wonderful garden if the weather was fine. Unfortunately, the morning we arranged the heavens opened! No problem, we just set up our lights and used the superb interior of the home for the pictures. This worked really well and we were able to provide Richard with a variety of indoor pictures. We were drawn to the garden because there was such opportunity of some nice pictures to be taken.

There didn’t seem much hope of us getting out there but we kept peering out the windows just for that break. It came! The rain had not stopped but it had eased off enough for us and and to venture out! Brollies handy, and using the cover of the house at times, props in the garden, we managed to get another set of pictures. So pleased!

To get this message from Richard certainly made us happy as well.

Just to say that Jill and I are really pleased with the photos – many thanks for braving the rain and making it work so well!

  • Baby and Family Portraiture

It was so nice to see Nick and Cara again in the Spring last year especially as we could meet their son, Havey, for the first time and create them some Baby and Family Portraiture.

We had heard all about Havey so it was lovely to finally see him. Nick and Cara live in Australia so we me up with them whilst they were visiting family and friends in the UK. From the moment we first set eyes on Havey, he just smiled! So easy to take pictures of and he was happy to oblige!

  • Baby & Family Photography for Kimberley & Ben

It was great to see Kimberley and Ben again last year after the birth of their son Freddie. We had been their Wedding Photographers at their Wedding at the Channels Estate, Chelmsford, in 2018. Freddie was a few weeks old when we saw him for the first time and was adorable. Freddie was quite happy with us taking pictures of him and was as good when we took a few family pictures. A job well done! Thank you Freddie!

  • Home Family Portraits for Toni & Russ

It was great to meet up again with Toni and Russ for some Home Family Portraits. We were their Wedding Photographers at their Wedding at Layer Marney Tower a few years ago.

Toni and Russ got in touch with us regarding taking some pictures of their Daughter, Aliya, who was five months old at the time. Arranging a convenient date and time we went to their home. Aliya was fine for some pictures of her by herself and was happy to have some taken with Mum and Dad too! A lovely time spent achieving some nice images.

  • Family Group Portraits

It was nice to see Nick, Deborah, Edward and Jessica again when they requested some Family Group Portraits. We have taken various pictures of them and other family members over the last few years. This time was at Nick’s parents’ house where Nick was with his family and his sister was with hers, together with their Parents.

On the morning spending time with the children and not being rushed was the key to getting the Family Group Portraits. We had time to catch up as well!

Pictures achieved, time for them all to go out for Sunday Lunch!

  • Family Portrait

It was lovely to see Mae and her family again earlier this year. Mae wanted some up to date pictures of her family. It had been a few years since we last took some pictures of them all. A lot of changes! We had a nice time catching up and taking a variety of pictures.

    Family Portrait Photography

Every few years Rachel gets in touch with us to update her Family Portrait Photography.

Last summer was the latest time this happened. Rachel and Jon were married at the Fennes Estate in 2009.

Not only do we take some pictures of Rachel and Jon’s family we do the same for Rachel’s sister Zoe at the same session!

Rachel, Jon, Isaac and Casper live abroad so when they come back to England they stay with Zoe, her husband,   and their children, Grace and Ethan. Over the years we have got to know them all very well.

The weather was fine so all the pictures were taken outside. We had an enjoyable afternoon catching up and taking some nice pictures for them.
