    Family Photography Essex

    It was lovely to see Katy and Kevin again, we were their Wedding Photographers for their Wedding at Prested Hall, Feering in 2009. Katy and Kevin wanted some pictures of their children and we were more than happy to oblige.  After spending a little time with Isla and Ethan before taking some portraits, we ended up with some nice images of both of them together with a nice family group picture. Although we do have a small studio we prefer visiting clients in their own homes which always seems far more relaxed for children’s or family portraits. In this case the best light was in the kitchen!

    Children’s Portraits – We were delighted to be asked to photograph Lukas again by his Parents, Nina and Jon.  This time as Lukas was now two and a half, Nina and Jon wanted a collection of photos printed in a book.  After a while inside and a few pictures taken, outside we went.  Mission accomplished!

    It was lovely to see Gemma and Michael, whose Wedding we photographed in 2010, at Parklands, Quendon Hall.

    With Gemma expecting another baby very soon , Gemma and Michael wanted a few pictures with their son Ethan before the new arrival.  An enjoyable time and mission accomplished!Family-Pictures-Essex

    It was lovely to meet Finlay again, as the first time we met him was in 2009 for some photographs of him.  This time we met his twin sisters, Maia and Thea, who were five months old.  Finlay was brilliant with his two younger sisters and we had a very busy but enjoyable time with them all. children's-photographer-essex

  • London & Essex Photographer of the Year Awards

    Last night was the Awards Night for our local photographer’s group covering covering the London & Essex region for the Master Photographers Association and The British Institute of Professional Photography.  The judge was Ray Lowe FMPA FBIPP who is an internationally respected judge and one of the best qualified photographers in the UK.

    Congratlutions to the overall winners Kevin Pengelly and Brian Baker who put in some great pictures and those of our other friends who also achieved Awards of Excellence.

  • Portrait in the woods

    Great to meet Janna & Stephen for their pre-wedding picture. They brought along their sons Thomas & Jack so we could meet them also ahead of their wedding  which will be at Down Hall in afew weeks time. 

    The picture is a great reminder that portraits do not have to be in a bland studio against a white wall! Children always seem better outdoors.Envioronmental Portrait
