Pontlands Park Wedding Photography – Nicola & Glenn

Pontlands Park Wedding Photography – Nicola and Glenn booked us for coverage of their Evening Wedding Celebrations.

Nicola and Glenn were married abroad a week prior so this was for the UK evening party!

When we arrived at Pontlands Park, Nicola and Glenn were putting the finishing touches to the room layout. Leaving them to it for a little while we went to refamiliarise ourselves with  the grounds, having been a couple of yeears since our last wedding there.

When the room was all set up Nicola and Glenn then changed into their Wedding attire. As they came down the stairs we took a few pictures. Nicola and Glenn wanted some pictures outside of the two of them and as the weather was lovely that is where we went. We took a variety of pictures before their Guests arrived.Pontlands Park Wedding Photography Nicola and Glenn then had time to greet their Guests before we took a few requested family group pictures outside the Hotel. As the weather had been wonderful all day, there was a sunset.

These pictures were a great way to end the outside photos. Inside Guests were socialising and the Band was ready for Nicola and Glenn’s First Dance. After this everyone took to the dance floor or just chatted with friends and family. During this time we took some informal pictures of the dancing, mini relaxed groups and overall pictures to show what was going on. Later, happy with our coverage of Nicola and Glenn’s Wedding Celebrations we said ‘goodbye’ to everyone. A lovely evening!

Leez Priory Wedding Photography for Charlotte & Kevin

Charlotte and Kevin chose the stunning Leez Priory for their Autumn Wedding last year. It was a warm sunny day when we arrived at Leez Priory on the morning of the Wedding. Charlotte was getting ready with her Bridesmaids and all preparations were going smoothly and the girls were enjoying the time.Wedding Photographer Leez Priory I stayed with the girls whilst David went off to find Kevin and his Groomsmen. Using the grounds of Leez Priory they had a few pictures taken before they carried out their various duties. Charlotte was assisted by her sister, Jessica, as she was getting dressed. The Guests arrived on the bus and they made their way into Leez Priory. Once Charlotte was ready we had time to take a few arranged pictures of her and with her Bridesmaids and parents. The Ceremony was held in the Great Hall  Kevin and his Best Men, Chris and Tim stood at the front waiting for Charlotte to come into the room. Charlotte looked lovely! Leez Priory Wedding Photography

    The Drinks & Photos

A little while after the finish of the Ceremony we got on with taking a few requested pictures outside. Whilst we were outside the Guests threw rose petals over Charlotte and Kevin. Making the most of the weather and in the sunshine we then took Charlotte and Kevin for a short time to take their pictures.  A walk around the grounds provided opportunities for some nice pictures. Charlotte and Kevin still had time to talk to their Guests for the remainder of the Drinks Reception.  Charlotte and Kevin greeted their Guests during the Greeting Line before they walked unto the Coach House for the Wedding  Breakfast. There was a fantastic sunset at this time so we took the opportunity to take Charlotte and Kevin outside,  some great shots!Wedding sunset picture Leez Priory / wedding speeches

    Wedding Speeches and First Dance

The Speeches followed the meal and afterwards everybody made their way back to Leez Priory for the evening celebrations. Charlotte and Kevin’s evening Guests then joined them. A couple of evening shots with Charlotte and Kevin outside Leez Priory took place before the cutting of the Wedding Cake. Just before the First Dance, Charlotte tossed her bouquet. Leez Priory cake cutting first dance photos What an amazing First Dance! Wonderfully choreographed and superbly performed! After capturing a flavour of the evening it was time for us to leave. It was nice to see Nerys and Chris again, we photographed their Wedding at Parklands in 2012. Thank you Charlotte and Kevin for asking us to be your Wedding Photographers, it was a pleasure!

Hylands House Wedding Photography for Adelle & Danny

Hylands House Wedding Photography for Adelle and Danny’s Wedding was well worth waiting for! Hylands House is set in a magnificent park on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex, and it it has been too long since our previous visit!.Hylands House Wedding Photographer There was an extra special feeling about this Wedding for us considering we have known Adelle for a number of years as she grew up as a friend of our daughter.  When we arrived at Hylands House we went upstairs to see Adelle who was in the wonderful Bridal Room, with her Bridesmaids and Mother. Adelle was sipping her Champagne whilst her hair was being finished whilst Gemma, her twin sister, and cousin and Mum were getting ready. David met Danny, his Best Man and Ushers, downstairs for their pictures. Spoilt for choice where to take the pictures we did a few outside and a few inside Hylands House. Wedding Photographer Hylands House Time then for them to greet the Guests. Everything was going smoothly upstairs and it wasn’t long before it was time for Gemma to assist Adelle with getting her dress on. Wow! Adelle looked amazing! Hylands House Wedding Photographer With the Guests seated in the Drawing Room, Adelle took her Father’s arm and walked down the staircase with the Bridesmaids leading the way. Adelle entered the Drawing room to the sound of the piano, played by her friend Claire (who we also know very well), superb! After saying their vows and the Ceremony completed, they left the Drawing Room and went into the hall where the Reception Drinks were being served. The sun was out, it was getting warmer and warmer and the guests were directed out the back of the House.  There was a reason for keeping everyone from going out the front of Hylands House. Adelle and Danny chatted with their Guests until we got the nod that another star of the day was here! Hylands House Wedding PhotographerAlthough Adelle and Danny and a couple of close confidants knew Adelle’s horse would be making an appearance, nobody else did!  It was so nice to be there to capture the moments when Adelle and Danny and their Guests went outside. Added to this, Adelle and Danny’s dog  put in an appearance as well. After all, he was at their pre-wedding shoot! Hylands House Wedding PhotographyWe got on after a few minutes with the requested family pictures followed by some fun Bridal pictures and a few pictures of Adelle and Danny. After a break in the shade, a little later the confetti pictures were taken on the steps to the side of Hylands House before it was time to go into the Banqueting Hall. Time for the Speeches! Brilliant! Great reactions! Afternoon Tea was then served.  During this time Spencer Wood went around the tables providing ‘Magical’ entertainment. The guests enjoyed going outside to cool off and socialise before the evening entertainment in the Marquee.  Just before the evening Guests arrived we took Adelle and Danny to the formal gardens for a few pictures in the golden evening sun. On our return Adelle and Danny greeted their evening Guests before it was time for their First Dance. A brilliant rehearsed First Dance!Wedding Photographer Hylands House Leica MThe best place to see the sunset was past the far end of the car park so  it was a quick car ride!  We were back before people had noticed! After capturing some pictures of the evening Guests, we finally put our cameras down and chilled out! So lovely to see so many familiar faces and have catch ups.  Thank you Adelle and Danny for asking us to provide your Wedding Photography, it was a pleasure and a privilege.  A fabulous Wedding Day of Hylands House Wedding Photography for a wonderful couple!

  • Wedding Photography for Louise & Daniel at Ivy Hill Hotel, Margaretting

Louise and Daniel chose St Michael’s Church, Roxwell, for their Wedding Ceremony, followed by a Reception at The Ivy Hill Hotel, Margaretting.  After the Wedding Ceremony, a few family group pictures were taken outside the Church as well as some fun pictures of Lousie and Daniel as they left the Church being showered with confetti!  We made our way to The Ivy Hill Hotel where the Reception was being held.  The Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception in the warm sunshine whilst we took a few pictures for the happy couple of themselves and their Bridal Party. After the Wedding Breakfast and Speeches we had a few minutes to create some pictures in the warm evening light across the pond ahead of the First Dance.Wedding Photo at Ivy Hill Hotel

  • Pre-Wedding Picture

We met Kelly and Dan on a pleasant evening at Danbury Lakes.  The last time we saw Kelly was when she was a Bridesmaid at her sister’s Wedding in 2005, as the Wedding booking was made over the phone. A stroll around the Lakes produced some nice pictures for Kelly and Dan prior to their Wedding in the next few weeks.  Wedding Photo Stock Brook Manor

  • Wedding Photography for Kate and Jonathan at Channels

The weather for Kate and Jonathan’s Wedding Day was lovely sunshine, despite a cooling wind at times.  Kate got ready at Channels Lodge and everything was running smoothly.  As Kate was ready in good time, she was able to take advantage of our skills to produce natural lit portraits of her, which we enjoyed doing and achieved some lovely results.  The Civil Ceremony was followed by a few essential family group combinations in front of the fountain.  Whilst the Guests were having their Drinks, we took Kate and Jonathan for a few fun and relaxed pictures of themselves.  After the Wedding Breakfast we took a couple of night shots and finished our coverage of their Wedding with the First Dance and pictures of their Evening Guests.
