Fellowship 10 years ago!!

10 years ago on 14 June 2013 I was awarded a Fellowship in wedding photography from The British Institute of Professional Photography. (BIPP)

A Fellowship (or Master Craftsman with The Guild) is an extremely difficult level of Qualification to achieve and is especially rare in wedding photography.

To achieve this level requires perfection in the posing, lighting and presentation of the images. Pictures must be taken on the wedding day and not at a staged ‘shoot’. Which does of course create all kinds of wedding challenges of time, weather, location etc!

While of course we are all as good as our last job, it does show a high level of commitment and dedication.

Note that I am no longer a member of BIPP. The Qualification has been transferred and I am now a Master Craftsman and Member of the Judging Panel with The Guild of Professional Photographers.
