We were asked recently why we were more expensive than another photographer? Good question, however, perhaps the question should have been reversed ‘why are they so cheap?’
Do they have any experience of photographing weddings? Do they have insurance? Do they have Photography Qualifications from BIPP or MPA, the only recognised UK Qualifing bodies? What quality are the albums and can they show you completed albums from full weddings? How long have they been in business or living at the same address? Do they let you know their address or is it just e-mail and a mobile? Do they have any client testimonials? Do they have back-up equipment of a high standard?
The credit crunch may last a year or two – your wedding pictures should last a lifetime. Why risk a cowboy?
