While photographing the wedding at Crabbs Barn this weekend we had the pleasure to meet Daniel Reed and see him performing his magic. Very entertaining and recommended!

Lydia & James were married at St Mary’s Church, Woodham Ferrers, where the Vicar kindly allowed us to take a single picture to record the scene in church. The ceremony was followed by a reception at Pontlands Park Hotel. The weather was reasonably kind with a mixture of sun, cloud and wind. Pontlands Park has some fantastic grounds for wedding photographs, which we managed to utilise within the time available. Lydia’s list of family groups then kept us busy until the time for the wedding breakfast.
Charlotte & James picked a great day for their wedding despite their fears about the weather! The ceremony took place at St Peter’s Coggeshall in the heart of Essex. This was followed by a reception at Layer Marney Tower, where we created most of their pictures. We managed to capture some great reportage type pictures of them and their guests as well as the traditional family groups.
Nikki & Steve were married at St John the Baptist Church in Little Maplestead on 12th July. The formal family pictures were taken quickly outside the church so that everybody could relax and enjoy a drink at Smeetham Hall Barn, while we captured some fun and relaxed pictures of the happy couple and the Bridal party.
We have been wanting to get a shot on the new bridge at The Fennes, the wedding of Ruth-Anna & Dafydd solved this for us, despite the afternoon being a complete wash-out. The Fennes has some spacious indoor rooms which enabled us to photograph the family groups despite the rain. Booking us for photography right through to the First Dance, ensured we were there when the sun finally came out just after the wedding breakfast.
Gemma & Mark enjoyed a classic Leez Priory outdoors wedding. The weather was kind to them and allowed them to take advantage of many of the indoor and outdoor locations. For us, any wedding at Leez Priory is definitely not “just another day at the office,” Gemma & Mark’s wedding proved to be no exception!
Sophie & Mark married at Holy Trinity Church in Bishops Stortford and then held a reception at Down Hall Hotel. Using our previous experience of weddings at Down Hall, enabled us to work quickly and ensure Sophie & Mark could enjoy some time with their guests as well as creating some great pictures.
Our last wedding during June 2008 was for Kelly & Mark. The ceremony took place at St Theresa of Lisieux at Stansted Mountfitchet followed by a reception at Bury Lodge Hotel. Kelly & Mark enjoyed a very warm day and had great fun with their guests and the Bridal Party.
The gardens at both the church and at Bury Lodge made a fine backdrop for their pictures.
Sara & Simon were married at Layer Marney Tower, located in the Essex countryside. We have some lovely relaxed and fun photographs of them enjoying their day.
We worked as a team with Richard Palmer as Toastmaster & Pauline from Bouquet Garnet Catering to assure the day ran smoothly and on time.
