Sarah & Matt picked a lovely hot sunny day for their wedding at Layer Marney Tower, Colchester, Essex. The big surprise of the day was Sarah & Matt showing off their secretly practiced dancing skills, which they did a great job of!
Today we photographed the wedding of Ellie & Iain at All Saints Church, Great Horksley, Essex, with a Reception at the stunning Priory Hall, Hadleigh, Suffolk. Yet another day for working quickly to avoid rain showers! Ellie & Iain were very relaxed and really wanted to make sure they had a great range of pictures to remember their day by, even if Ellie’s dress did suffer on the wet ground! Sandra’s sewing kit was useful again today as Ellie’s dress needed a quick repair between the church & reception.
Sarah & Robert were married in a ceremony in the Orangery at Gaynes Park, Epping, Essex. The day went well with a mixture of sunshine and showers. After the Wedding Breakfast we had to use some quick thinking to capture the rainbow, something we have seen at a wedding before, followed a short while later by some great, stormy sky, sunset shots!
Hot summer suhshine! Carla & David picked a perfect day for their wedding at All Saints Church, Dovercourt, Essex. As we arrived the church gardeners had just finished cuttng down the bushes which we have always used for a background at this church – oh well plan B! Carla & David held their Wedding Breakfast at Le Talbooth, Dedham, Essex which has stunning views along the river.
Amy and Lee picked the wonderful Parklands for their wedding. They married outdoors and enjoyed a relaxed afternoon with their guests and spent some time making a few great photographs anround the house and grounds. After the Wedding Breakfast we captured a few relaxed pictures of the happy couple exploring their Honeymoon Pavilion! The First Dance was in doubt with a recurrance of an old knee injury to Lee but he bravely struggled through.
Caroline & Andi’s wedding at Spains Hall went really well. The flowers they had arranged around the main door really set it off. They even arranged a sunset! Although Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex is a relatively new venue, it seems to be very well organised and runs well.
The start of our Spains Hall weekend was for the wedding of Sam & Chris. The rain earlier in the day, prevented us from using the walled garden for the main pictures but after the Wedding Breakfast, Sam, Chris and a number of the guests went and enjoyed the facilities and we captured some really fun relaxed shots.
Two consecutive days for us photographing at Layer Marney Tower! Katie & Ross are unique people and there is no reason for us to try and repeat exactly what we did the day before. Katie had a fabulous flowing dress which she was happy to ‘twirl’ after the family groups. The happy couple made some great photographs on the bridge, in the barn and of course with the tower!
Tracey & David chose the fabulous Layer Marney Tower near Colchester, Essex as the setting for their big day! The sun shone and helped everyone to an enjoyable day. Richard Palmer the Toast Master, helped keep the day running smoothly and made sure that Bouquet Garni could serve the meal ontime.
