  • Wedding at St Peter's Thundersley & Crondon Park

Charlotte & Andy are a lovley couple to photograph and they seemed to really enjoy their big day. The wedding was held at St Peter’s Church, Thundersley, Essex with a reception at Crondon Park. Although there was a slight breeze it was not enough to distract from a nice day. A real feeling of Deja Vue with this wedding (see next blog) we seemed to spend half the day saying hello to familiar faces – a really nice set of people!

  • Recommended Photographers

It was a great pleasure photographing the wedding of Charlotte & Andy but more so because we knew so many people from our previous weddings.

Sam & Martin, who were married 6 years ago recommended us to Claire & Mark (Eastnor Castle) and Vicki & Rob (Braxted Park). Charlotte is Vicki’s sister – we just had to have a picture with them all

  • A Fennes Thank You message

Jo & Alec have just sent us this message:-

“Just watched our photos (DVD show) and we absolutely LOVE them, they are all great”

  • Another Thank You card for David & Sandra!

Sally and Jon were married a few weeks ago at Maison Talbooth, Colchester, Essex with a reception at Le Talbooth, Dedham, here is what they said:-

“a huge thank you for our beautiful wedding photos. Everyone who has seen them thinks they are amazing and your photography so artistic. We have looked through the album at least a hundred times and each time see something new! You captured the day so well and given us a lovely book of memories.”

  • Wedding at Brentwood Cathedral & Braxted Park, Sharon & Lee

Sharon & Lee chose Brentwood Cathedral for their ceremony with a reception at Braxted Park near Witham, Essex. The whole day seemd to run smoothly and the weather was hot. With the main family pictures being done at the Cathedral there was was not too much for the happy couple to do except enjoy their guests in the walled garden at Braxted Park.

  • Wedding at St Germain Church & Gaynes Park

Sam & John made a lovely couple at their wedding at St Germain Church near Blake Hall, Essex. The family portraits were taken outside the church so that only the more relaxed and fun photographs needed to be done in the gardens before the wedding breakfast at Gaynes Park, Epping, Essex. We stayed on after the First Dance in order to capture a sunset picture for Sam.

  • Wedding photography at The Fennes, Essex – Corrina & Paul

The Fennes Estate near Braintree, Essex is one of our favourite venues to photograph weddings at, however this was our first experience of an outdoor wedding there. Corrina & Paul’s day was just about perfect for weather and enjoying the gardens around the house with their family and friends, it was also good for some relaxed wedding photography.

  • Training Day at Prested Hall, Essex

Today Sandra & I helped organise and run a training day for other local photographers at Prested Hall, Feering, Essex. The training covered both a practical and lecture style education which was provided by one of the UK’s most highly qualified photographers, Kevin Wilson FBIPP FMPA from Dorset.

The day finished with a print competition in which I won an Award of Excellence in the Wedding section. Our friend Gavin Woolard, from Chelmsford was the overall winner with a great and unusual shot.

Prested Hall is a very friendly venue and is having an open day for prospective clients on Sunday 7th June – why not go along and see if it suits your wedding style?

  • Family photographs

It is now 5 years since we photographed Tina & Stewart’s wedding at Newland Hall and our second visit for family portraits. We have photographed them as a family with their first daughter Emily, this time Isobel (shown here) had arrived in the family!

  • Evening Reception at Stoke-by-Nayland, Gemma & Bryan

Gemma & Bryan married in the West Indies and then had a family reception at Stoke-by-Nayland Golf Club, Suffolk.

We took a few pictures of Gemma, Bryan and the wedding party and then lots of pictures of everybody enjoying the evening.

Whilst we are willing to travel for ‘destination’ weddings, this one was all booked by the time we were booked for this function, we’ll have to keep asking!!
