  • Engagement Portrait for Louise & Kieran

Later this year we are to be the wedding photographers at Smeetham Hall Barn near Sudbury, for Louise & Kieran. We met them yesterday to go over the details and to create an Engagement Portrait for them which we try to arrange with all our couples.

  • Engagement portraits for Gemma & Michael

We are to be the wedding photographers for the wedding of Gemma & Michael later this year at  Parklands, Quendon, Essex. We met them for some rather chilly Engagement portraits. We look forward to being their Essex wedding photographers

  • Wedding of Kirsti & Stuart at The Fennes

It was a dry, bright, if cold day when we arrived at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, to carry out the wedding photography at for the start of Kirsti & Stuart’s special day.  Kirsti had arranged a Horse & Carriage, provided by Ostler Carriage Company, to take her to St Mary’s Church, Bocking for the wedding Ceremony. We were very impressed by the Coachman’s skills in reversing the Horse & Carriage between parked cars.  After a lovely church service, a few traditional wedding photographs were taken outside the Church.  On our return to Fennes the wedding photography was a mixture of reportage, relaxed and fun wedding photos which went well and it was nice to meet the party from Finland.  A great day was had by all!

  • Amy & Matt's Wedding at Quendon Hall

We were the wedding photographers for Amy and Matt’s ceremony at Parklands, Quendon Hall, on a very cold but bright day.  This superb Essex Wedding Venue provides many photographic opportunities both inside and outside.  Whilst most of the pictures were taken inside Parklands, making use of the lovely staircase, corridors and rooms, we did venture outside!  Our thanks go to Amy and Matt for braving the cold in order to capture the late afternoon sun.  We are very pleased with the results and are sure Amy & Matt will be too!

  • The joy of planning

Today I finished planning a new sample wedding photography album. We photographed the wedding at Down Hall, Essex last August and are currently working with the Bride & Groom for the layouts for their own photo album. We have done so many of the Storybook style albums recently that it was a pleasure to do a clean simple design in a matted album. I am looking forward to seeing the finished product which will be the same agonising few weeks wait as for our Bride’s but then the best quality hand made albums should not be rushed.

  • Heart Radio Essex Wedding Fayre – 20th & 2lst February

David and I are looking forward to exhibiting our Wedding Photography at The Brentwood Centre this weekend from 10am-4pm.  This is a very popular Wedding Fayre with many Exhibitors to visit and Fashion Shows to be viewed.  We had a very successful and enjoyable time at this Fayre last year and we hope it will be the same this year.

  • Another client testimonial:-

    Dear David,

I keep wanting to sit down at the computer and thank you for THE most amazing book of those boys.  I don’t know what I was expecting but that has far surpassed anything I even hoped for.  I will treasure it for absolutely always.  I adore the layout and you really are so clever with how you have put all the pictures together.  I wish you could hear all the compliments about all your photos.  We do have a gallery here and I still adore even our wedding pics 5 nearly 6 years on so I think I will still be gazing at the boys when they are married and left home!!! :o)

Thank you sooo much again and hope to see you very soon for the cousins photo shoot!! :o)

  • Doe Show 2010

The job today was to attend the 50th Doe Show and capture some of the action for Ernest Doe & Sons near Maldon, Essex. A very testing day this year with cold and rain to cope with – keeping the front of the lenses dry was very challenging! A range of pictures showing what was going on, from sales in action, to new products and practical demonstrations in the fields.
