“Thank you so much for your work, it was fantastic and a pleasure to have you at our wedding.
Our guests found you professional as did we, and a pleasure to work with, fun and with fantastic attention to detail as well as amazing patience when dealing with our weird and wonderful requests!”
For anybody who wondered what the DC3 was flying over Finchingfield for recently, it was for the wedding of Amanda & Lee (full blog to follow) at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex.
We were very pleased that Annis & James chose us as their Professional Photographers for their Wedding, especially as the weather was dry, bright and warm for a Marquee wedding. After taking some nice bridal preparation shots we made our way to St Michael’s Church. Following the service we took some family group shots outside the Church then left to go to the Reception. Whilst Annis, James and their Guests relaxed in the grounds, David and I were able to photograph unobtrusively their enjoyment. The flowers were provided by W. Flowers and as usual were excellent and the catering was provided by Bouquet Garni which was very good. A brilliant day!
Gemma & Michael selected us to be the photographers at their wedding at Parklands, Quendon, Essex. The weather was a glorious spring day and the happy couple really wanted to make some great pictures for their Storybook wedding album. Perhaps Gemma’s words are better than mine:-
“Thank you for being so amazing at our wedding. You guys put me at ease when I got nervous and when you were taking photos I didn’t even notice.
You were professional and great fun all at the same time and we are very glad that you were a part of our wedding day!!”
“We have just spent the good part of 3 hours looking at the DVD and photo book . To be honest I have no idea how we’re going to choose. There is not one bad picture!”
It was a warm day when we arrived to photograph Lucy’s getting ready pictures. After taking a few pictures inside the house, and when Lucy and her Bridesmaids were all ready, we took some more photographs in the garden, having then to go back inside due to being dazzled by the sunshine! Lucy & Ian were married at St Peter’s Church, Great Totham, with their Reception held at Prested Hall, Feering. Lucy, Ian and their Guests enjoyed a relaxing time in the grounds of Prested Hall allowing David & I to take some informal pictures. A mention goes to The Florist on the Green at Great Totham for the lovely flowers.
Well what can we say – after us writting what a great Caricaturist Steve Hearn is, he has written such nice things about us on his blog we really have to link to it!!
It was great to see Steve again yesterday at the Wedding of Gemma and Michael at Parklands, Quendon Hall, (more blog on this Wedding later). Guests were eagerly awaiting their turn for their caricatures whilst enjoying watching Steve draw. Why not have Steve at your Wedding, he is brilliant at what he does, as well as a nice guy too! You can find more about Steve at www.drawn4u.com
In between photographing Weddings in this extremely busy year, David and I have been out and about at various locations with our Brides and Grooms for their Engagement portraits. We really enjoy this and enables us to get to know the couple well, before the big day. We will be posting a selection of these in the next few days. Essex provides us with numerous locations for these pictures such as Danbury Lakes/Common, Hylands House, Highwoods Country Park, Wivenhoe Quay and many others. Studio Engagement portraits have been taken place as well and we will show some of these also.
It was lovely to spend time with Amy and Lee and their new baby daughter when they visited us recently. David and I were their Wedding photographers when they were married a couple of years ago at Parklands, Quendon Hall. Ava is beautiful and we had a lovely time taking pictures of her and she co-operated very well! Thank you Ava!
Our first journey as Wedding Photographers outside Essex/Suffolk this year was to the beautiful Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe, Wiltshire, for the Wedding of Victoria and Darren. The Manor House is an absolutely stunning venue and together with the fantastic weather we were able to produce some wonderful pictures for the couple in the parklands as well as in the Italian Gardens.
