Dear Sandra & David,
Just wanted to let you know that we received the proof book and DVD yesterday and the photos are absolutely fantastic! Thank you both so so much – we were blown away by all of them and had not even realised that some of the pictures were being taken. Thank you both for all that you did for us on the day too & special thanks to you Sandra for helping me with my dress and picking out all the bits of straw I managed to get attached too – I am sure that is not in the job description!
Thanks again for all that you did on the day – the photos really are just amazing & it was great to have you both there on the day.
A very very happy Jess O’Rourke (!)
What we really like about every one of our weddings is the different styles. Joanne and Rob chose to have a Ceremony in a Marquee in their Garden. It was a warm day and the weather stayed fine. Joanne and Rob only wanted a couple of formal pictures and were more interested in us capturing their day. As they had nine Bridesmaids there was always something going on! Instead of the usual Wedding Breakfast, High Tea was provided by Simply Fine Foods in the Afternoon for their Guests, followed by a Hog Roast in the Evening.
Jess and Martin chose the lovely Layer Marney Tower, Nr Colchester, Essex, for their Wedding Ceremony and celebrations. The Tea House at Layer Marney was where Jess and her Bridesmaids were getting ready and in this beautiful setting we took the pre-wedding pictures. The weather was kind to us allowing us to take full advantage of the beautiful surroundings. We managed to get some different shots around Layer Marney, which included images taken later in the evening with the illuminated Tower.
David and I will be exhibiting our Wedding Photography on Sunday at Mersea Vineyard from 10.30 am – 4.00 pm. Come and meet us as well as many other Exhibitors.
St Mary’s Church, Old Harlow, was the chosen church for the Wedding of Isobel and Davood. The sun shone on the happy couple as they exited the Church and greeted their Guests. A few pictures were taken outside the Church, then we left to go the The Fennes. Most of the Wedding photographs were taken in the beautiful grounds around Fennes. Isobel’s bracelet somehow fell off into the pond whilst we were doing their photographs on the bridge! Isobel remained calm, even though the bracelet had fallen into the deepest part of the pond! Miraculously, the staff at Fennes retrieved the bracelet! After the Wedding Breakfast, Isobel, Davood and their Guests enjoyed walking around Fennes in the early evening sunshine, whilst we captured their enjoyment.
Vicky and Ian chose the lovely St Mary’s Church, Bocking for their Wedding followed by The Fennes Estate, Bocking for their Reception. We photographed Vicky’s final preparations and Bridal Portraits at The Fennes before going to St Mary’s for pictures of Ian, and his Groomsmen. Whilst the Drinks reception was taking place, we took informal pictures of the Guests enjoying themselves as well as taking a few family photographs. It was special to Vicky and Ian to have some pictures taken around the big tree at Fennes as Vicky’s Grandad remarked how much he had liked it. Vicky’s flowers were provided by W. Flowers and as usual were lovely and it was good working with Dave Scott of BVS.
