Wedding Photography for Gemma & Marc at Gosfield Hall, Essex
We were delighted to be asked to photograph the Wedding of Gemma and Marc, albeit with added pressure as Gemma’s Uncle is an excellent Professional Photographer as well as being a very good friend of ours! Gemma and Marc chose the beautiful Gosfield Hall for their Civil Ceremony and Reception. Gemma’s getting ready pictures were taken in the lovely Rococco Suite whilst Marc’s pictures were taken outside. Following the Ceremony we all made our way outside so we could take advantage of the wonderful weather. Gemma and Marc were able to mingle with their Guests in between us arranging the requested family group pictures. Just before the Wedding Breakfast we took the Bridal Party for some pictures which were relaxed and fun. Keeping an eye on the sunset during the Wedding Breakfast proved to be worthwhile when we gave Gemma and Marc the nod they very quickly went outside. Superb results! First Dance and evening pictures, then later on fireworks made a memorable day.

Review of the Year 2011
Well, it’s that time of the year again when we draw breath long enough to think about the fun, laughter and lovely people we have met during the year at our various Professional Photography events.
Weddings – our Weddings this year turned out to be mostly slightly closer to home and were constrained to Essex, Suffolk, Kent and Hertfordshire -2012 will involve longer distances!. Some great clients who we hope will stay in contact. Our new system of pre-planning albums caused a little confusion early on but now we are explaining it better it seems to be very popular with our couples.
Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, Las Vegas – David had the ‘chore’ of attending what is becoming a bi-annual event at the WPPI convention. A great chance to study for 3 days with Jim Garner who is one of the worlds top Wedding Photographers, together with networking with many other fine Photographers from around the world. Another ‘Accolade of Excellence’ in the International Print competition put the icing on the cake!
We also had a good year helping to organise events for our local photographers group on behalf of the MPA and BIPP. It was a great pleasure to join a number of members of our group on the Buxton workshop where we tried out some new ideas.
We could not review our year without congratulating our friend Kevin Pengelly who achieved his Fellowship Qualification in Wedding Photography. A fantastic achievement.
I guess we should award our ‘photograph of the year” but as some of our favourites are currently entered in competitions maybe we had better hold on that!
So Thank You everybody who helped us in 2011. We look forward to 2012 and meeting many old and new friends and clients.
Happy New Year!

Having had time to sit and slowly go through the finished album we are over the moon at what you have created for us, Clare is grinning over it as I type! The pictures are terrific and leafing through it brings back amazing memories of the day.
Thanks once more for your efforts and we will be sure to recommend you.
Have a great Christmas and New Year.

Wedding Photography for Emily & Andy at Hadleigh Town Hall, Suffolk
It was a pleasure to be asked to photograph Emily and Andy’s Wedding as we first met Emily when we photographed Kate (Emily’s sister) and Aaron’s Wedding at Crabbs Barn in 2008. It was a dry day when we joined the girls at Emily’s parents’ house for the getting ready pictures and after taking a few pictures we left to go to Hadleigh Town Hall. The marriage Ceremony took place in the Council Chamber and Harvey and Amelia, Emily and Andy’s children, were a very special part of this. After the Ceremony, Guests socialised in the Guildroom, where we also took some requested family group pictures as a shower stopped us from going outside. The rain did stop and despite being a bit chilly, we took some fun shots in the Gardens with the Bridal party, followed by going for a short walk for Emily and Andy’s pictures. The Wedding Breakfast was held in The Old Town Hall and the food was wonderful. The evening Reception was held in the Grand Hall and after capturing First Dance pictures and Emily and Andy’s final pictures we said our goodbyes. Thank you to Helen and John for making us so welcome and being part of a very enjoyable day.
