  • 'Thank You'

It was lovely to receive this ‘Thank You’ from Laura and Nathan who were married recently at All Saints Church, Rayne, followed by a Reception at Spains Hall, Finchingfield, Essex:-

    David & Sandra

A massive thank you to you both for photographing our wedding on Friday.  We have had so many comments from our guests about how discreet and lovely you both were.  We really appreciate all your efforts in helping our day run so smoothly and look forward to seeing what we know will be fantastic pictures.

    Thanks again and best wishes.

  • Wedding Photography – Drs. Laura and Jonathan at Braxted Park, Essex

Our day started at Laura’s family home where everything was running smoothly.  Final touches were being applied to hair and make-up, making for some nice pictures.  We were able to take some beautiful photographs of Laura, her Bridesmaids and her Parents when all preparations were complete before leaving for Braxted Park, Essex for the Wedding.  As the rain was not falling at the time we arrived at Braxted Park, we were able to take some pictures outside of Jon, his Attendants, and Parents before the Ceremony.  After the Civil Ceremony which was held in The Orangery, we took Laura and Jon for a few photographs in the main House,  (it was now raining!) as The Orangery was being prepared for a Jewish Blessing.wedding-photographer-essex-braxted park-bride&groom It was lovely to capture two Ceremonies at one Wedding! Laura and Jon wanted their photographs outside and so did we and rain was not going to stop us, so as their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception in the Pavillion, off we went! Our thanks go to Le Baron for helping us and with the use of our wellies, umbrellas and laughter, photographs of Laura and Jon with the cars, in with the bluebells and by the lake were achieved.  Laura and Jon had time to socialise after this before a few family pictures.  Being organised and with the help of everybody family group pictures were taken outside with the minimum of fuss and time.  During the Wedding Breakfast the The Three Waiters performed a surprise act to everybody.  Some early evening pictures were taken in drier places around Braxted Park and we were all surprised by an unexpected sunset! Dancing pictures were captured and Laura and Jon ended their day with their Guests standing either side of the path with lighted sparklers.  A truly memorable day, thank you especially to Laura and Jon, smiling all day, excited, and not letting the weather bother them!  We love our job!

  • Pre-Wedding Pictures

We enjoyed meeting Sinead and Ross at Sinead’s family home and after discussing their Wedding plans, took a walk around the grounds.  With so many wonderful opportunities, we are very excited about photographing their Wedding, which is very soon!wedding-photographer-essex-dedham-pre-weddding pictures-bride

  • Pre-Wedding Pictures

Although it was chilly, the weather held out for our meeting with Gemma and Neil in Finchingfield. The sun and cloud provided us with some lovely pictures whilst we were in the village.  Gemma and Neil are getting married later in the year at Hedingham Castle.essex-wedding-photographer-finchingfield-pre-wedding

  • Wedding Photography for Sarah & Colin at Fennes

We arrived at The Fennes Estate, Bocking, on a dry bright day where Sarah was getting ready.  Everything was running smoothly allowing us to take our time taking some photographs of Sarah, her Parents, Bridesmaids and Pageboy.  We were able to use the lovely rooms at The Fennes, before leaving to go to St. Mary’s Church, Bocking, for the church service.  At the Church we took a few pictures of Colin, his Best Man and Ushers prior to Sarah’s arrival.  A few pictures were taken outside the Church after the service, before leaving to go to Fennes for the Reception.  Sarah, Colin and their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception whilst some family pictures were taking place.  After making sure Sarah and Colin had spent time with their Guests we went for a short walk around the grounds in the warm sunshine achieving some nice photographs of the two of them, before their Wedding Breakfast and Speeches.  Our day ended with photographs of their evening celebrations.wedding-photographer-essex-fennes

  • St Francis Hospice Summer Golf Day

It was a great privilege to be invited by fellow photographer Dave Court to help photograph the St Francis Hospice Summer Golf Day. I am not sure any of the 52 golfers at Stock Brook Country Club realised it was summer due to persistent rain! Although everybody who helps raise funds for the Hospice movement is a star, it would be hard to ignore Barry Hearne whose participation was greatly appreciated. Another of my shots on the World Snooker site.

Learning how to use the Mitsubishi instant printer for event photography was extremely useful! Event-photographyOh yes, neither myself or especially Dave Court (who also provided the prints) received any payment for this – that is what charity is about after all!

  • PR Pictures

From time to time we do Public Relations photography in Essex, Suffolk, Kent and London.  On this occasion we were asked by Liz Curry, a local Novelist and Non Fiction writer to take some pictures of her for her Publishing Company.  We were delighted to oblige and achieved some nice photographs.PR-Photographer-Essex-Portrait
