  • Wedding Photography for Sarah & Mark – Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel, Leavenheath

We arrived at Sarah’s Parents’ home for the final bridal preparations just as the heavens opened, but fortunately after this quick shower that was the end of the rain for the day.  Lots of activity was going on at home with Sarah and Mark’s daughter, Maisie, being one of the six flower girls.  All things were going well and we took some lovely pictures in the garden before making our way to St. James the Less Church, Colchester.  Photographing in this Church is great as it provides us with many different places to discreetly take pictures from.  After taking a few pictures of Mark and his Groomsmen, Sarah arrived with her Bridesmaids and Flowergirls.wedding-photographer-essex-st james the less- colchester Following the Church service and after formal picture and confetti shots we left to go to Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel & Golf Club.  Whilst Sarah and Mark’s Guests enjoyed a Drinks Reception, we took the opportunity to go to the Lake with Sarah and Mark for their pictures.  After a short interval we took a few requested family photographs before the Wedding Breakfast.  Following the Speeches, it was a lovely evening outside for the fun Bridal Party shots and evening sunset pictures, before going back inside for the First Dance.wedding-photographer-essex-stoke-by-nayland-hotel Pyrotechnics made for some brilliant photographs during the First Dance pictures before we left them all to continue the evening celebrations.wedding-photographer-essex-stoke-by-nayland-hotel

  • Pre-Wedding Pictures

It was a beautifully sunny morning when we met Cherilyn and Anthony for a walk along the River Walk in Witham for their pre-wedding pictures.  After the rain of the previous few days we were fortunate not to need our wellies!  It was great to see Cherilyn and Anthony again as they had booked us as their Wedding Photographers in early 2011.  Cherilyn and Anthony are getting married at Channels Golf Club later this year.wedding-photographer-essex-pre-wedding pictures

  • Wedding Photography – Stephanie & Mario – The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington

We were delighted to be asked to photograph the Wedding of Stephanie and Mario particularly as the father of Marios is our friend and fellow Professional Photographer Panikos.  Starting our day with David leaving me at Marios’ house, he left to go to to Steph’s house. From a quiet beginning at Marios’ house, relatives then arrived every few minutes before the greek custom of dressing the Groom.  With live Greek music being played and Marios’ relatives singing,  it made for some emotional images.,  Meanwhile, at Steph’s house, David was busily taking photographs of bridal preparations, details and Steph’s relatives, musicians, who were congregating.   The Wedding Ceremony was held at Battersea Kingdom Hall before everybody then travelled to The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington for the Reception. As Steph and Mario’s Wedding was held on the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Weekend, a spur of the moment decision was made to stop on Wandsworth Bridge with Steph and Mario and take a couple of photographs as rain was in the air.  Fantastic!  A wonderful opportunity to photograph Steph and Mario on the bridge with the flotilla of boats passing by underneath! wedding-photographer-london-wandsworth bridge Arriving at The Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington it was not long before the rain began to fall, but with the cover of the Hotel we managed to get some photographs of the couple as well.  Formal requested group pictures were taken on the stairs in the Hotel as well in various other parts of the Hotel.wedding-photographer-london- the royal garden hotel-kensington Following a lovely Wedding Breakfast, dancing started and it was a pleasure to watch as well as photograph everybody having a wonderful time. wedding-photographer-london-the royal garden hotel-kensington

  • Wedding Photography – Sinead & Ross – Dedham, Essex

Everything was running smoothly when we arrived at Sinead’s family home in Dedham, Essex, for the bridal preparations.  We took some informal and formal pictures of the girls inside and outside before leaving to go to the St Mary’s Church, Dedham, for the Church service. Following the service a few pictures were taken in the grounds, then Sinead and Ross left the Church to a shower of confetti!wedding-photographer-essex-st.mary's church-dedham Many of their Guests walked to the Reception which was held at Sinead’s family home and we captured some lovely images whilst we walked as well.  With a wonderfully colourful setting the opportunities were endless for requested family pictures and with the weather on our side we took full advantage.  Sinead and Ross had several opportunities to socialise with their Guests before we took them off for a stroll around different areas for their pictures.  We all had a great time and achieved some lovely pictures before the Wedding Breakfast.  Speeches followed before the evening and First Dance photographs and this ended a wonderful day.  It was nice to work with Mervyn Rutter (Toastmaster) again, and thank you to The Food Station, www.foodstation.uk.com who looked after us and provided excellent food.  wedding-photographer-essex-dedham

  • Wedding Photography – Geneta & Mark at The Rose & Crown Hotel, Colchester

It was a pleasure to photograph Geni and Mark’s Wedding which was held at The Rose & Crown Hotel, Colchester, Essex.  We started our day at Geni and Mark’s home for a few pictures of  Geni, her Bridesmaids and Parents.  It was a delight to meet Geni’s parents who were so happy as they had flown in from Rumania for their daughter’s Wedding. After a few pictures we made our way to The Rose & Crown.  Being such a very warm dry day we were able to take a few pictures of Mark, together with his Best Man and Ushers prior to Geni arriving. Following the Civil Ceremony, everybody enjoyed socialising during the Drinks Reception in the warm sunshine outside whilst we took a few requested pictures. We captured a set of lovely portrait pictures around inside and outside the Rose & Crown with Geni and Mark before they sat down for their Wedding Breakfast.  A wonderful day!wedding-photographer-essex-rose&crown hotel-colchester

  • Wedding Photography for Georgina & Thomas – St. Howards Church, Horringer and Marquee

An early start for us and with the sun shining brightly we travelled to Suffolk to photograph the Wedding of Georgina and Thomas.  We arrived at Georgina’s family home where the girls’ preparations were in full swing.  With plenty to keep me occupied, David joined the guys who were staying down the road, for their final preparations. After taking a few pictures of George, her Bridesmaids, we left for the St. Howards Church, Horrringer.  Tom, his Best Man and Ushers were greeting Guests but we found a little time to take a few pictures of them. After the service, requested family groups were taken outside the Church in the brilliant sunshine. Making our way back to Georgina’s family home for the Reception ahead of the Bride and Groom allowed us to take some beautiful pictures of the two of them with the Horse and Carriage.wedding-photographer-suffolk-horringer-bride and groom The drinks reception was held in the garden which gave us the opportunity capturing some informal photographs, with room for photographing small group photos as well.  Coverage of Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast and as the sun was going down we went for a short walk with George and Tom around the family home for some special photographs. George and Tom entertained the Guests during the evening by using us as their own Photo Booth!  After an enjoyable, hot,  exhausting day we left late as Georgina and Thomas danced the night away!wedding-photographer-suffolk-horringer-bride and groom
