It was a beautiful day when we arrived at Fennes for Lauren and Greg’s Wedding, perfect for an outside Civil Ceremony. Whilst the girls were getting ready and having some pictures taken, upstairs in the House, the boys were making their final preparations before a few pictures. Later, Lauren made her way through the Gold Room and out into the sunshine to be greeted by Greg and the Wedding Guests waiting at the Gazebo. After the Civil Ceremony, Lauren and Greg greeted and mingled with their Guests during the outside Drinks Reception and we took their family group photographs and some fun bridal party pictures. Timings were perfect, allowing time for taking Lauren and Greg for a few minutes around Fennes for their pictures.
Prior to the Wedding Breakfast, Lauren and Greg were showered in confetti in the Gold Room. Speeches followed the Wedding Breakfast then everybody relaxed outside in the evening sunshine. A wonderful sunset provided Lauren and Greg with some lovely images before the evening celebrations.
Thanks to Lauren and Greg for asking us to join them at Wedding Breakfast as two guests were unable to attend. As always, thanks to all the staff at Fennes who are always great to work with.

Childrens' Portraits
In between our extremely busy time during August with photographing Weddings, it made a pleasant change to do something different. We have known the “Berrill” family for quite a few years now. David and I photographed Victoria’s Wedding in Kelvedon in 2004 and Lottie’s Wedding at Burgh Island, Devon in 2007. Not only that but we have met the extended family on numerous occasions and have thoroughly enjoyed hours spent with them and their children, today was no exception! On arrival at the family home, the door opened with the children just wanting to go outside! The children were just being themselves playing in the natural surroundings not taking any notice of us, whilst we photographed them and caught up up with all the news! With the Grandparents and Parents having as much fun as the children, laughter was plentiful. We had a lovely time, with William, Alex and Matilda being such lovely children, photographing them was a pleasure and so enjoyable.

Nell'Amore Bridal Wear Consultancy, Halstead
By doing a good job over many years we have become a recommended supplier of Wedding Photography at a number of Venues, without asking, It was a particular pleasure to be asked by a fellow Photographer if we would mind discussing our services with her son’s girlfriend, Lauren!
After a number of years in the trade Lauren opened her own bridal boutique in Halstead this year called Nell’Amore and wanted to be able to recommend an experienced high quality Photographer to compliment her services. Sandra and I visited Lauren for a chat and following a really relaxed meeting it was a delight to be asked by Lauren to provide cards and a sample Album so she could recommend us!
Nell'amore Halstead As they say ‘life is a two way street’ and it is totally appropriate that having been to Lauren’s shop we can easily say that it has a wonderful professional atmosphere with excellent stock. Definitely worth a visit for those looking for Wedding Dresses, Bridesmaid Dresses, Jewellery, Veils, and Shoes. Lauren is a lovely person and together with her team will make this a wonderful experience!

Wedding Photography for Tina & Nelse at Layer Marney Tower, Layer De La Haye
It was an early start for us on a beautiful day, as Tina and Nelse were getting ready for their Wedding at The Angel Inn, Stoke by Nayland. Whilst Tina, and Kiera, their Daughter, who was the Flowergirl, were getting dressed, Nelse, their Son, Joshua, who was the Pageboy, Best Men and Ushers had some pictures taken in the inside The Angel Inn as well as in the garden.
The Layer Marney Weddding Bus arrived to take the Guests as well as Nelse to Layer Marney Tower for the Civil Ceremony. Tina left later in the Layer Marney Rolls Royce after a few pictures. Following the Ceremony in the Corsellis Room, Tina and Nelse went for a short drive whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. We took some candid Guests shots whilst waiting for the couple to return.
Later a few requested family photographs were taken infront of the Tower and in the grounds. The Guests enjoyed relaxing and socialising in the warm sunshine watching the fun bridal party pictures going on. We were able to steal Tina and Dave away for a short time for some pictures of the two of them by the Lake and in the Barn before the Wedding Breakfast. Speeches were before the BBQ and this was followed by a live band playing in the Courtyard, where Guests danced and socialised. Tina and Nelse were happy to have a couple of pictures of them in the evening before their First Dance in the Long Gallery.
A long relaxing enjoyable day was what Tina and Nelse had envisaged and it came true.

Parklands Open Day / Unclefunk
Great to see lots of couples (some already booked and some prospective) at the Parklands Open Day on Sunday.
There was a Disco band performing called Unclefunk who sounded great! I hope we will meet them at a wedding before too long.
