Natalie and Craig visited us one evening to talk about their forthcoming Wedding at Fennes. Getting to know our couples before their big day is so important to us so our pre-wedding sessions are very relaxed. After a nice chat it was time to go and take some pictures nearby. We are looking forward to Natalie and Craig’s Wedding very soon.
We met with Vicky and Phil one evening to go over the final details of their Wedding at Prested Hall in a few weeks time. After talking about their Wedding we went out to take a few pictures of them in the early evening sunshine.
David and I prefer to get to know our couples a little bit better before their Wedding Day so we enjoy meeting them at a convenient time and place. We met up with Tracy and Ben one afternoon a few weeks ago at Hadleigh Country Park. Deciding to go for a walk and take some pictures, first of all, was a good call, it was dry and bright and not too windy. By the time we had finished we were windswept, so it was nice to stop for a hot drink and a chat! Tracy and Ben are getting married in the summer at The Lawn, Rochford.
Not long before Joanne and Barry’s Wedding we met up with them for their pre-wedding session. As we were at Joanne’s Parents house, not wanting to be left out, their dogs joined us for a few pictures! Later whilst talking about their Wedding we found out that Barry went to primary school with our son, we thought he looked familiar! Joanne and Barry are getting married at Vaulty Manor, Heybridge.
We met with Victoria and Sam for their engagement session one afternoon at the start of this year. Our meeting point was at the church where Victoria and Sam are to be married soon. Finding our bearings before the Wedding Day helps us and Victoria and Sam were happy to oblige. After a few pictures there we went to Victoria’s Parents’ house for a cup of tea and and a chat about the Wedding. We are looking forward to their Wedding with the Wedding Reception being held at the wonderful Priory Hall, Hadleigh.
We met Rebecca and Michael one Sunday morning at their home in the Autumn last year. Deciding to take a walk along Surrey Docks on the bank of the Thames and then on to a local park for their pre-wedding pictures. It turned out to be a lovely morning and the walk was a good idea. The autumn leaves were just starting to colour adding another dimension to the pictures. After taking some pictures we stopped off for a coffee and a chat about their Wedding at Gosfield Hall.
We met Jade and Andrew one afternoon in the Autumn last year for their Engagement pictures at Highwoods Country Park, Colchester. It was nice to meet them again, and talk as we walked around the woods. As well as taking the pictures we chatted about their forthcoming Wedding at Woodhall Manor, Suffolk in the Spring this year. The Engagement session is always a great way to get to know our clients ahead of the big day! Quite often we’ll use the opportunity to go to an area we have not previously been to or try a new piece of equipment or technique.
Wimpole Hall, Cambridge, holds special memories for Laura and Mark , so they asked if they could have their pre-wedding pictures taken there. We were more than happy to do this, as it also gave us the opportunity of checking out the Church, where they are to be married and onto the Reception Venue. It was a nice day, a lovely walk and a superb backdrop for their pictures.
Checking out a new to us church and venue lets us sort out where to park and meet the others we may have to work with, the vicar etc, along with where we may be taking pictures on the day. Although we have the experience to make it up on the day it is always better to know in advance where practical!
Just before the Wedding of Sue and Mark at Prested Hall, Feering, we managed to get together with them to talk about their plans and special requirements for their Wedding Day. We also took some pre-wedding pictures so they could experience working with us ahead of the big day!
Danielle & John came to see us one evening for their Engagement Photo Session to go through the details of their Wedding Day at Fennes in a few weeks time. After chatting and completing the details we went to take the pictures for their Engagement Photo Session, once again using the Riverwalk near our studio.
