Layer Marney Wedding Photography for Teri & Robert

It was a beautiful day for Layer Marney wedding photography for Teri and Robert. Teri was getting ready at her Parents’ house, where our coverage started. With just Teri and her Parents at home it was nice to be able to take our time a little bit more with all the pictures. Everything was going well and once Teri was in her Wedding Dress, we went downstairs and into the lounge for a few bridal portraits.Happy with what we had taken we then left them and went to Layer Marney. We met with Robert and his Groomsmen and walked around to the front of the tower for their pictures. The Bridesmaids and Flowergirls had arrived and were awaiting the arrival of Teri who was being driven by Graham in the Layer Marney car. Robert and his Groomsmen made their way upto the Corsellis Room. Teri arrived and we took a few pictures of her with the Bridesmaids and Flowergirls before the Ceremony. Afterwards Teri and Robert went for a short drive in the Layer Marney car whilst their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception. After a short while the Guests waited on the steps for Teri and Robert as they returned and walked up the path to the Tower. Making sure the happy couple have time to socialise and enjoy the Drinks Reception is always important and this is where we capture a few nice informal pictures of the guests. Taking the requested family pictures happened a little later before we took Teri and Robert for a short walk around Layer Marney, including the barn and lake.Teri & Robert wanted a relaxed wedding that they and their guests could enjoy together with a few ‘professional photographs’ – it is always a pleasure to deliver what is requested!
Teri and Robert chose to have their Speeches before the start of the Wedding Breakfast so they could fully relax and enjoy themselves. This worked well. Afterwards whilst waiting for the band to set up Guests took a stroll around the grounds or stayed and chatted in the Long Gallery. Later after cutting their Wedding Cake and having their First Dance, Teri and Robert were lucky enough to get a lovely sunset. We then left then to enjoy the rest of their evening with their Guests and took our leave. A wonderful day of Layer Marney wedding photography with a lovely couple!

What a lovely morning for a Pre-Wedding shoot for Dana and Jim! It was early one morning recently when we met Dana, Jim and Molly for some pictures at Danbury Lakes. Making the most of the weather and not any people around we went for a walk. After some nice pictures around we spent a little time with them talking about Dana and Jim’s Wedding at Layer Marney Tower, in a few months time.

Family Photos

Family Photos

We were pleased to hear from Martin and Jess again in September last year telling us their news. They now have a daughter, Evie, and have now moved to Essex. Martin and Jess wanted some pictures of Evie and some up-dated pictures of Charlie, their Son, we couldn’t believe it was in 2010 they were married at Layer Marney Tower and almost a couple of years ago when we last photographed Charlie! When we arrived at their house, Jess was out picking up Charlie from a birthday party, which gave us some time to take some pictures of Evie. By the time they arrived back we had done this. After Charlie had told us about how much fun he had at the birthday party, he was more than happy to go outside. Martin and Jess wanted a couple of family pictures taken as well which we were able to achieve in the garden. An enjoyable time spent with a lovely family.

Wedding Photographer Layer Marney

It was a hot day for Julia and David’s Wedding Day at Layer Marney Tower, Layer-de-la-Haye. A late afternoon summer Wedding was what Julia and David chose. We arrived before Julia and David at Layer Marney and as the Wedding Guests arrived we took a few informal pictures. Julia and David arrived together and had a few requested pictures taken before it was time for them to see the Registrars. Julia and David then made their way into the Corsellis Room with their Flowergirl and Pageboys and greeted the Guests as they made their way to their seats. The Ceremony followed then Julia and David went for a drive together as their Guests enjoyed the Drinks Reception outside in the grounds. Returning from their drive, Julia and David walked up towards the Tower and socialised with their Guests. Managing our time well we took various requested pictures as well as capturing a flavour of the day. Before the Wedding Breakfast we took Julia and David for a quick walk around the grounds for a few pictures of them together, including a couple of pictures in the Barn. Pictures with the cake followed before the children enjoyed throwing confetti over Julia and David on the stairs. With time upon us it was time for the Wedding Breakfast in the Long Gallery and time for us to say goodbye.
