    As always it was a lovely to see Lottie, Rich and their two children, Matilda and Imogen to create some more Environmental Family Portraits.

    We photographed Lottie and Rich’s Wedding at Burgh Island, Devon, in 2009.  Since they have had a family we have taken photographs of them at various times.  It was such a lovely morning, Matilda and Imogen were playing in the garden, having fun, with their Parents. Karen and Geoff, their Grandparents were joining in as well! During the time we were there we had the opportunity of taking some relaxed informal pictures of the two girls, capturing their personalities. A morning to remember!

    Relaxed Family Portraits Essex

    Jane and Alan were married at Greenwoods Hotel, Ingatestone, in 2009 so it was nice to see them again, and meet their son, Harrison.  They were down from Scotland visiting Jane’s Mum and wanted a few pictures of all of them. It was a beautiful morning and the garden proved to be a good spot for their pictures where we could have some control over the light but allow Harrison to be relaxed.

    Family Pictures

    It was nice to be asked again by Beth and  Paul to take some family pictures.  This time there was an addition to the family a second son, Flynn. We visited them early  in the morning, fingers crossed the boys would be ok and the weather would be kind to us!  How lucky we were on both counts! The  garden was the right location for their eldest son, Toby, to run around, whilst we were able to stand back and capture the images.  The family pictures were a bit trickier, with Toby  preferring to run around but with interaction, time and patience on our side we achieved our goal!

    We photographed Beth & Jonathan’s wedding in 2010 in Colchester, so it was lovely to take some more family pictures for them.

    Lin and Harry wanted to update their family pictures, so it was nice to be asked to do this again.  How time flies, we couldn’t believe the last time  we took them, Elliott, Lyn and Harry’s youngest Grandson was not even born!

    Over the years we have made many friends from clients whose Weddings we have photographed. We have known Tina and Stuart from 2004 when we photographed their Wedding at Layer Marney Tower  and have photographed them at various times since. Stuart’s Mum and Dad wanted to update their family picture which we took a few years back and create a new selection of portraits of the individual parts of the family. One request was to use the same background so the pictures would look like an updated version of the original – happy to oblige!

    We had a lovely morning seeing Alison, Nathan and Elodie again recently.  The last time we saw them was in September last year, when we photographed Elodie for the first time.  What a difference a few months makes!  With Elodie on the move, we had to be quick, but great results and good fun!
