Outdoor Pictures at Danbury Lakes was our venue and meeting place to see Victoria, Lee and Hudson towards the the end of last year. David and I were their Wedding Photographers at their Wedding at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, in 2015.
Since then we have photographed their son, Hudson, and took pictures of their extended family for a present for Victoria’s Mum. It was great, not only did we take a variety of pictures, we all enjoyed ourselves, and caught up on all the news.
Hudson is a lovely little boy (Mum and Dad are very nice too!). Congratulations to Victoria and Lee on the news of an addition to your family soon. Looking forward to seeing you all again in the next few months. The Outdoor Pictures at Danbury Lakes worked well!
Environmental Family Pictures was our job when we met up with Martin, Jess, Charlie and Evie during last year. Martin and Jess were married at Layer Marney Tower in 2010. Since then we have met up with them several times, including family pictures and Birthday Parties.
Today, up to date pictures of the family were required out and about. It was a lovely day in September we chose to take these pictures. Danbury Lakes provides various opportunities to take pictures. It has lots of areas available for different pictures.
We spent a lovely time catching up with this lovely family and creating their Environmental Family Pictures. We are looking forward to seeing them again soon.
A new family portrait for the Pepper family! Always great to meet families again after a few years. Starting with Tina & Stuart’s wedding at Layer Marneyback in 2004. We have seen them a few times to update.
This main reason this time was a special birthday for Tina’s Mum.
We took a number of different combinations of the formal and some of the more relaxed style.
Getting teenagers to relax and have fun is not always easy but the girls were great fun.
We made a range of prints in colour and black & white for their frames.
Maybe it’s time for a new family portrait for your family?
We were delighted to be asked by Charlotte and Paul to provide the Christening Photography at St Peter’s Church, Bocking, of their son Joshua. This was arranged prior to the latest restrictions which was very fortunate.
We have known Charlotte and Paul since we were their Wedding Photographers. We have kept in touch with them ever since, taking Family portraits, Dog portraits for them and various Business pictures for Paul.
A Lovely Day Christening Photography
It was a lovely day for the Christening. We met Charlotte, Paul and Joshua at the Church a little while before we went into the Church. We took a few pictures of the family before their Guests arrived.
Keeping our distance of course we took a few pictures of the scene. It was a lovely service taken by Reverend Tim, who also carried out Charlotte and Paul’s Wedding Ceremony. As for Joshua, he was as good as gold! Awake for the whole time, just taking it all in.
Socially Distanced Group Shot
Afterwards we went outside. Using the area at the back of the Church, we took a Socially Distanced ‘everybody’ picture. Some informal pictures were taken as well as a few requested pictures.
Prested Hall
Leaving the Church everyone went to Prested Hall, Feering, for Afternoon Tea. What a wonderful afternoon. As the weather was so nice we were able to go outside and enjoy the sunshine too.
Joshua was having a great time, he enjoyed all the attention and we captured some lovely pictures of him.
Thank you to Reverend Tim at St Peter’s Church for a nice service and Prested Hall provided an excellent Afternoon Tea.
Thank you Charlotte and Paul for asking us to photograph Joshua’s Christening and to be Guests as well. We loved it! Looking forward to seeing you again soon.
This was a relaxed day of Christening Photography. If you have an event like this please contact us.
Marieka got in touch with us in July regarding Environmental family pictures Epping Forest photoshoot. This we could do within the guidelines of Covid-19, social distancing of course.
Marieka suggested an afternoon in Epping Forest which was a good idea. We have used the area several times, it’s so vast and you can find quieter spots. The weather was good for us on the afternoon for the pictures. Warm and sunny, although we chose the more sheltered areas for the pictures.
Marieka and Richie had not had many photos of them with Leo, their 18 month old son. Now was the time they wanted some taken. Leo had been asleep in the car. We had a little walk and found a quiet spot so he could wake up properly. Time is no problem to us when this happens. We are more than willing to take more time to get the right pictures.
We had a nice afternoon and ended up with a variety of pictures for Marieka and Richie to choose from.
We were really happy with the Environmental Family Pictures Epping Forest, so was Marieka and Richie. See their review on Facebook!
It was lovely to see Anna, Leon and Theo again recently for some Home Portraits. Anna and Leon were married at Leez priory in March this year and we were their Wedding Photographers.
Anna got in touch with us again after baby Hugo was born. Anna and Leon wanted some pictures of the four of them at their home on Mersea Island. Absolutely fine with us, that’s what we like as well.
It was a beautiful morning and Theo was happy playing outside as well as co-operating when it came to take some family pictures. Hugo was a couple of weeks old and was so good. Great to see this lovely family again and we ended up with a nice selection of Home Portraits.
It was a lovely morning when we met Stewart, Connie and the children for some family portraits.
Outdoor Location
We had arranged to meet them early in morning at Beeleigh Weir, Maldon. Our aim was to take some pictures of them all before it became too busy. Good timing, we knew it was going to be a nice day and this setting attracts lots of people.
Pandemic Family Portraits!
Covid Restrictions had been lifted a little, therefore more people were about. Meeting in the car park we then went for a walk. We had researched the location and knew what we wanted to do, and the spots we wanted to utilise.
Social Distancing
Use of a longer focal length lens is aways and advantage for this type of work making Social Distancing no problem.
Stewart and Connie wanted family portraits as well as individuals of the children, Jackson, Victoria and Albert. The three children together proved to be the trickiest but we managed it! Thanks Jackson for your help!
Stewart and Connie ended up with a variety of pictures from an enjoyable morning spent with a lovely family.
What a lovely enjoyable afternoon we had with Catherine, Jamie, Stanley and Lucinda a few weeks ago making their Baby & Family Portraits!
Lockdown Delay
Catherine and Jamies wanted some pictures taken of their two children as well as some family pictures. Originally this was arranged a couple of months ago but ‘lockdown’ put paid to that! The weather on this particular afternoon was just right, not too hot and a breeze. We went for a walk not far from where we live and found a secluded area off the main footpath for the pictures.
The trees gave us shade as well as providing a nice backdrop. Stanley’s pictures were mostly on the move! No problem! Lucinda’s pictures on the other hand were the opposite! Being eight months old, Lucinda was crawling but enjoyed sitting on the blanket with her toys or just watching what was going on.
A Nice Selection
Catherine and Jamie ended up with a great selection of Baby & Family Portraits taken during the afternoon. They were really pleased and so were we!
Family pictures was our first job when restrictions were lifted due to Covid-19! We were allowed to take environmental photo shoots observing social distancing. What a lovely family to be our first clients!
Pictures in the back garden
We had met Laura and David before when we visited them a few years ago when their daughter Amber was born. Now they had a new addition to the family, Meghan. It was a lovely morning when we met up and it was decided to use their garden as the backdrop to the pictures. We took a variety of pictures, family group pictures and individuals. Meghan was fine throughout the time, sleeping mostly! Amber was quite happy outside, playing with her toys in between some pictures. We had an enjoyable time, keeping your distance worked, although it did feel rather odd as contact in our line of work helps. Still, we managed it and ended up with a nice selection of pictures for the family.
Lovely to actually get back working again and happy that we are able to take pictures within the restrictions.
Toni and Russell got in touch with us again in January this year. This time asking us if we could take some Family and Individual Pictures.
We have known Toni and Russell for some years now being their Wedding Photographers a few years ago at Layer Marney Tower.
We first met Aliya last year and took some pictures of her and Mum and Dad as well. As everyone knows young children grow up very quickly and capturing stages of their development is nice to look back on.
An enjoyable time with this lovely family ending up with some nice Family and Individual Pictures.
