  • Wedding Photography at Parklands

Gemma & Michael selected us to be  the photographers at their wedding at Parklands, Quendon, Essex. The weather was a glorious spring day and the happy couple really wanted to make some great pictures for their Storybook wedding album. Perhaps Gemma’s words are better than mine:-

“Thank you for being so amazing at our wedding.  You guys put me at ease when I got nervous and when you were taking photos I didn’t even notice.

You were professional and great  fun all at the same time and we are very glad that you were a part of our wedding day!!”

“We have just spent the good part of 3 hours looking at the DVD and photo book . To be honest I have no idea how we’re going to choose. There is not one bad picture!”

  • Wedding Photography for Lucy & Ian at Prested Hall

It was a warm day when we arrived to photograph Lucy’s getting ready pictures.  After taking a few pictures inside the house, and when Lucy and her Bridesmaids were all ready, we took some more photographs in the garden, having then to go back inside due to being dazzled by the sunshine!  Lucy & Ian were married at St Peter’s Church, Great Totham, with their Reception held at Prested Hall, Feering.  Lucy, Ian and their Guests enjoyed a relaxing time in the grounds of Prested Hall allowing David & I to take some informal pictures.  A mention goes to The Florist on the Green at Great Totham for the lovely flowers.

  • Wedding Caricaturist II

  • Engagement Portraits

In between photographing Weddings in this extremely busy year, David and I have been out and about at various locations with our Brides and Grooms for their Engagement portraits. We really enjoy this and enables us to get to know the couple well, before the big day. We will be posting a selection of these in the next few days.   Essex provides us with numerous locations for these pictures such as Danbury Lakes/Common, Hylands House, Highwoods Country Park, Wivenhoe Quay and many others.  Studio Engagement portraits have been taken place as well and we will show some of these also.

  • Baby Photography

It was lovely to spend time with Amy and Lee and their new baby daughter when they visited us recently.  David and I were their Wedding photographers when they were married a couple of years ago at Parklands, Quendon Hall.   Ava is beautiful and we had a lovely time taking pictures of her and she co-operated very well!  Thank you Ava!

  • Wedding Photography for Victoria & Darren – Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe

Our first journey as Wedding Photographers outside Essex/Suffolk this year was to the beautiful Manor House Hotel, Castle Combe, Wiltshire, for the Wedding of Victoria and Darren. The Manor House is an absolutely stunning venue and together with the fantastic weather we were able to produce some wonderful pictures for the couple in the parklands as well as in the Italian Gardens.Essex wedding photographers

  • Wedding Fayre at Prested Hall

Thank you to everyone who attended Prested Hall on Sunday for making it such an enjoyable day.  An added thank you to the couples who booked us on the day and the ones that made appointments to come and see us to discuss their wedding plans further.

  • A Little respect

During one of our recent weddings one of the venue staff members commented to us “How nice to see photographers properly dressed for a wedding and not scruffy or wearing jeans” !! There is obviously a new breed of photographers with no respect for their clients and their day, undoubtedly claiming that being smart stiffles their creativity or some such nonsense!  We wear suits to weddings and try to be part of the day.

  • Prested Hall Wedding Fayre – Sunday 25th April 11.30am-4pm

David and I are looking forward to attending and displaying our Wedding Photography at Prested Hall, Feering on Sunday.  We have just taken delivery of two new sample albums, one of Layer Marney Tower, which is a Storybook, and the other of Down Hall, Hatfield Heath, Hertfordshire, which is a classic Queensberry.  We are absolutely delighted with these and we will be showing these as well as other albums on Sunday.  We are looking  forward to meeting prospective new wedding clients as well as existing ones at this popular venue.
