Wedding Photography for Natsuko & Paul at Gosfield Hall

Natsuko and Paul were married at the magnificent Gosfield Hall, near Braintree, Essex. Unfortunately it was a showery day but no way did it dampen a wonderful day! Natti left plenty of time to get ready and we had a lovely time taking her pictures in the Rococo Suite. Dodging the showers Paul’s pictures were taken outside and we took the family groups during the Drinks Reception, when breaks in the weather allowed. We have to say that Joanna, the co-ordinator, and the staff of Gosfield Hall were very flexible during the day and evening as plans were changed several times due to the variable weather. Having been provided with meal, we are delighted to say the food at Gosfield Hall is excellent! Our day ended with some lovely photographs of Natti and Paul around the grounds of Gosfield Hall making use of a Japanese parasol which Nattie’s father had provided.

Wedding Photography for Kate & Musa at Leez Priory

Kate and Musa were married on a a fabulous day at Leez Priory, Chelmsford, Essex. Having met Kate and Musa a few times before their Wedding Day, it was like we were old friends! Our day started with Kate’s final preparations in the room looking out to the Tower. A few pictures of Musa were taken around the lovely grounds as well as making good use of the atmospheric window light in the rooms. As it was a lovely day the Ceremony was held under the Tower, followed by a drinks Reception on the lawn, in front of the Tower. Kate and Musa were keen to use the many opportunities for pictures during the different stages of the day, which we were delighted to assist with, including a walk around the lake in the soft evening light.

Nicola & Stuart's Wedding at Braxted Park

It was a warm and sunny day for Nicola & Stuart’s Wedding at Braxted Park, Essex. We started their Wedding Photography with Nicola’s ‘getting ready’ pictures with her Bridesmaids and Parents. We then made our way to Braxted Park, where we were able to take some relaxed pictures of Stuart, his Best Man and Ushers. Nicola & Stuart held their Ceremony in the Orangery. This was followed by the requested family group pictures together with informal pictures of the Guests enjoying themselves. After the Wedding Breakfast we took Nicola & Stuart for some Bride and Groom portraits. Despite the heat and by then uncomfortable shoes, Nicola persevered and helped us create some lovely pictures for them.

Wedding Photography for Eleanor & Paul at Saunton Sands, Devon

The Wedding of Eleanor and Paul was very special to us, having known Eleanor since she was born. Eleanor’s parents were the first professional wedding assignment for David in 1981. Eleanor and Paul chose the Saunton Sands Hotel, Nr Braunton, North Devon. We could not have asked for better weather together with a wonderful location. After a beautiful Ceremony the Guests enjoyed Pimms on the Terrace whilst we took a few family pictures. Eleanor and Paul set the timings for the day perfectly. After an early Ceremony followed by the Wedding Breakfast there was plenty of time for a relaxed fun photo session on the beach, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The early evening entertainment was provided by a Jazz band, followed by dancing and the release of Chinese Lanterns after dark. A truly memorable and emotional day!

Witham in Bloom

It was a great pleasure to be asked by Annie Northfield to photograph the Witham in Bloom awards at Maltings Academy for 2010. As we had photographed this event last year, we had met many of the people involved previously along with current and past Witham Mayors, it was a particular pleasure to meet our new MP, Priti Patel.

Town Mayor's Portrait

It was a great honour to again be asked to produce Witham Towm Mayor’s official portrait for the Town Hall, a job which I have enjoyed doing for the last 11 years!

I got the job initially by doing a good job at a wedding, the rest, as they say, is history!

Wedding Photography for Kylie & Richard at The Barn Brasserie

Kylie and Richard were married at St Michael’s Church, Myland, Colchester. Kylie surprised everyone with her stunning Marilyn Munroish dress! It was a good match for her bubbly personality! After the Church service we went to the Barn Brasserie, Great Tey, Essex, for the Reeption. The areas around provided some good opportunities for pictures for the Bride and Groom, aided by a beautiful day. As two of Kylie & Richard’s Wedding Guests were unable to attend, they kindly invited us to join their other Guests for the Wedding Breakfast. We can highly recommend the food and service at The Barn Brasserie.

Aleisha & Stephen's Wedding at The Fennes

The Fennes Estate, Bocking, is a great place for wedding photography whatever the weather, but Aleisha and Stephen had a nice day, taking full advantage of the beautiful grounds. The Civil Ceremony was held in the Pavillion, followed by a Drinks Reception in the lovely rooms of the House. After a few family pictures outside the House, we took Aleisha and Stephen for a walk around the grounds for their pictures. Aleisha & Stephen wanted to do some fun shots, which we were more than happy to do, and achieved some great images of the day.
