Wedding Photography for Victoria & Alan at Maidens Barn, Near High Easter
It was a pleasure to meet lots of familiar faces as well as new ones at the Wedding of Toria and Alan at Maidens Barn. The day started with some Bridal portraits and pictures with Parents and Bridesmaids. As the weather was showery, the Civil Ceremony was held inside the Barn. After the Ceremony, frequent showers provided short breaks in the photographs, which allowed Toria and Alan time to mingle with their Guests. After capturing some natural expressions during the speeches, we took a few reportage pictures of the happy couple and their Guests relaxing during the evening.

Wedding Photography for Isobel & Davood at The Fennes Estate, Bocking
St Mary’s Church, Old Harlow, was the chosen church for the Wedding of Isobel and Davood. The sun shone on the happy couple as they exited the Church and greeted their Guests. A few pictures were taken outside the Church, then we left to go the The Fennes. Most of the Wedding photographs were taken in the beautiful grounds around Fennes. Isobel’s bracelet somehow fell off into the pond whilst we were doing their photographs on the bridge! Isobel remained calm, even though the bracelet had fallen into the deepest part of the pond! Miraculously, the staff at Fennes retrieved the bracelet! After the Wedding Breakfast, Isobel, Davood and their Guests enjoyed walking around Fennes in the early evening sunshine, whilst we captured their enjoyment.

Wedding of Sarah & James at The Barnsdale Hall Hotel, Rutland Water
The Barnsdale Hall Hotel, Rutland Water, was another new Venue for us to do the Wedding Photography for Sarah and James. The Hotel has splendid views around the Lake which made a great backdrop for many of the pictures. Sarah and James chose to have an earlier Wedding Ceremony which allowed them a break after the Wedding Breakfast and before the Evening Reception. This proved to be a wise decision as there was a heavy downpour later in the afternoon. The sunset overlooking the Lake made for some special pictures of Sarah and James, just before the first dance.

Wedding Photography for Vicky & Ian at The Fennes Estate, Bocking
Vicky and Ian chose the lovely St Mary’s Church, Bocking for their Wedding followed by The Fennes Estate, Bocking for their Reception. We photographed Vicky’s final preparations and Bridal Portraits at The Fennes before going to St Mary’s for pictures of Ian, and his Groomsmen. Whilst the Drinks reception was taking place, we took informal pictures of the Guests enjoying themselves as well as taking a few family photographs. It was special to Vicky and Ian to have some pictures taken around the big tree at Fennes as Vicky’s Grandad remarked how much he had liked it. Vicky’s flowers were provided by W. Flowers and as usual were lovely and it was good working with Dave Scott of BVS.

Vanessa & Oliver's Wedding at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, Essex
A very heavy storm delayed the start of the Wedding Ceremony for Vanessa and Oliver at The Reid Rooms. Whilst we were waiting for the storm to abate, we made use of the wonderful Farmhouse for pictures of Vanessa with her two daughters, Jasmin and Rosie, who were Bridesmaids. Well done and thank you to Mary Briscoe for a quick change to the Wedding Ceremony arrangements due to the weather, most impressive! After the Ceremony and between the showers we were able to take a few pictures outside, Vanessa was determined to go outside and we we more than happy to do that! A thank you to Callum for helping out. As the afternoon had been cut short due to the weather, David and I decided to return after the Wedding Breakfast for a few more pictures of the happy couple after the ground had dried out a little. Bonny Baby Competition at Freeport
What a great fun day today photographing babies at Freeport in conjunction with Marks & Spencer and raising funds for Farleigh Hospice. We descided to do a session and a print for just £5!! All money we donated to Farleigh, £125 in total!! Thanks to all the Mums, Dads and Grans who entered their little ones, two of whom are going to win some great prizes next Tuesday when the competition is judged at M&S Freeport. We have some really nice pictures so judging is going to be difficult!

Wedding Photography for Louise & Kieran at Smeetham Hall Barn, Bulmer
After heavy rain in the morning of Louise & Kieran’s Wedding Day, we were wondering what the weather was going to be like for the rest of the day! Although the rain had stopped, unfortunately the garden was rather wet when we wanted to do take Louise’s getting ready pictures, which was a shame, as Louise’s Dad had put so much effort into getting it to look nice. Despite that we got some really nice shots of Louise inside the house on the stairs. Following the Civil Ceremony at Smeetham Hall Barn at Bulmer, the sun was shining and it was very warm, which was good as Louise and Kieran had booked Matt Benecci Ice Cream Company, which went down a treat! Following a few group pictures we were able to take the Bride and Groom, as well as the Bridal Party, for some informal pictures around the lovely grounds of Smeetham Hall Barn. Our day concluded with a few pictures of Louise and Kieran in the early evening.
