It was nice to see Nicola again with members of her family, and to meet for the first time Annaliese, her daughter. Updated pictures was the request, since the last time we took some was in 2011. We photographed each child separately, with their sibling and as a group.
It was nice to see Ellis, Declan, and Kaiden again recently and to meet the newest addition to the family, Reggie. Ellis wanted some pictures of them all as well as some individuals.
One morning recently we saw Charli and Jonathan to discuss the final details for their Wedding at Prested Hall, Feering. It was a nice morning so off we went for a walk taking their pre-wedding pictures along the way.
We had a lovely morning seeing Alison, Nathan and Elodie again recently. The last time we saw them was in September last year, when we photographed Elodie for the first time. What a difference a few months makes! With Elodie on the move, we had to be quick, but great results and good fun!
It was a windy but a bright dry day for Jane and Geoff’s Wedding at Stock Brook Manor. Jane’s final bridal preparations were taking place upstairs at Stock Brook, which is where we found her with her Daughter, Nicki, Son, Dan and Granddaughter, Mikayla. Whilst I was capturing a few informal pictures upstairs, Geoff was having his pictures taken downstairs by David. In between times Geoff was welcoming the Guests. We took a few pictures of Jane and her family, as Geoff and the Wedding Guests made their way into the Garden Room for the Ceremony. Jane took Dan’s arm,with Mikayla leading the way, they walked into the Ceremony Room. 
After the Ceremony, everybody enjoyed the Drinks Reception inside. We found the most sheltered spot from the wind to take Jane & Geoff’s requested groups pictures. The reactions they caused will be remembered! Good fun! Jane and Geoff then re-joined their Guests to continue the Drinks Reception, allowing us to capture some informal pictures. Jane and Geoff wanted to spend as much time as possible with their Guests but we did manage to steal them away for a few minutes for their ‘together’ pictures. Ted Prior the Toastmaster organised the Receiving Line before the start of the Wedding Breakfast in the Rosewood Suite. The Speeches provided us with some good images and after taking some informal pictures later, it was time for us to leave. A lovely day of Stock Brook Manor wedding photography.
Fantastic news, David has been appointed as a Guild of Photographers Master Craftsman in wedding photography. This award is a great honour and will enable David to help with mentoring, judging and assessments.
This is after being awarded a Fellowship of B.I.P.P last year on submission of a portfolio of 22 wedding pictures. The pictures all have to be taken at real weddings under the usual wedding day constraints – no ‘wedding styled photo-shoots’ allowed!!
The pictures submitted have to be of the highest artistic and technical quality and are assessed by a panel of expert judges.

We met Zhanine and David recently at Papermill Lock, Great Baddow. As we walked we stopped occasionally at a few spots for some pictures of the two of them. Over a cup of tea we chatted about their Church Wedding and their Wedding Reception at The Fennes Estate, Bocking.
Always nice for us to receive kind words, these from Kerry and Chris whose wedding we photographed at Ballathie House Hotel, Perthshire, Scotland.

Hylands Park was the setting for Louise and Stephen’s pre-wedding pictures. After talking over the details of their Wedding to be held at The Reid Rooms, Margaret Roding, in a few weeks time. The weather played ball allowing us to capture some nice images.
