    Wedding Photos Reid Rooms – Charlotte and David

    Charlotte and David chose the lovely Reid Rooms for their Wedding.  The sun was shining when we arrived at The Reid Rooms on the morning of the Wedding.  Charlotte and David were getting ready in the Farmhouse so after saying ‘hello’ to the girls, I stayed with the Bride whilst David went off to meet with the Groom. Charlotte and David wanted a relaxed Wedding and from the start of their Wedding until the end, that’s what they had! Preparations were going well for both of them and once the men were ready they had a few pictures taken in the Farmhouse as well as outside.

    Essex Wedding Photographer Reid RoomsThey then went off to greet the Guests. Charlotte’s sister, Hollie, was assisting Charlotte splendidly, despite being eight months pregnant! Kelly Hollands was doing a marvellous job (as always) with her duties. Once Charlotte was in her Wedding Dress, after taking a few pictures, Charlotte went down the stairs.  Charlotte’s Dad, was waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs so after greeting her Charlotte went into the Lounge for some pictures with her family. After meeting with the Registrars and the Guests were seated for the Ceremony, Charlotte left the Farmhouse and made her way over to the Grannary for the wedding. Reid Rooms ceremony photosFollowing the Ceremony Charlotte and David socialised with their Guests in the Courtyard during the Drinks Reception for a little while.  During the afternoon we took a few requested family pictures, together with some fun pictures.  Making sure Charlotte and David had time with their Guests and a little time to go and take their together pictures. The Guests enjoyed throwing confetti over Charlotte and David making for some nice images just before the Wedding Breakfast.Wedding Photos Reid Rooms The Aussie Barbecue Company provided the meal and once this was finished it was time for the Speeches.  The cutting of the Wedding Cake followed and then everybody enjoyed the evening sunshine waiting for the evening celebrations to begin.  This gap allowed Charlotte and David to have a few evening pictures as well. Piana DJ provided the entertainment for the evening and a little while later Charlotte and David took to the dance floor for their First Dance. Reid Rooms sunset wedding photos A big ‘thank you’ to Charlotte and David for taking a  walk for the sunset!  Wow! It was worth it! This ended our day, a brilliant one at that!

    Last year Vicki and Sean wanted some Environmental Childrens Portraits in the woods with bluebells and their children, Owen and Phoebe. Unfortunately the Bluebells were over by the time when they wanted to go!  This year would be different! Pod’s Wood was the place and we had fingers crossed for the weather!  We couldn’t believe how fortunate we were on the day, it was dry, warm and sunny! The only blip was Sean could not make it but we went ahead anyway. Last time we saw Phoebe, she was crawling, now walking!  Owen was quite happy showing his sister what to do! What an enjoyable time we had with a wonderful family, great pictures! Already looking forward to seeing them again soon.

    Wedding Practice Pictures for Carrie and Dan

    For Carrie and Daniel’s wedding practice pictures we went to our local River Walk and took a few pictures in the early evening light.  These practice pictures, also called Engagement portraits or pre-wedding pictures, make a big difference to keeping our couples relaxed on the wedding day. We find how our couples work together and anything we need to watch for on the wedding day. It is was also a chance to catch up with Carrie and Dan’s  latest information regarding their Wedding.

    We are looking forward to Carrie and Dan’s Wedding at Prested Hall soon.

    Not long before their Handfasting Ceremony at Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, we met Niki and Chris to confirm timings and details of their big day.  As this is to be our first pagan hand fasting as photographers it was important to make sure we understood all the important points before the big day! Afterwards we went for a walk around the grounds for a few practice pictures of them. The nice grounds provided a nice backdrop for the photos and our fingers are crossed for a dry day for their Pagan Wedding  being held outside at Crabbs Barn in a few weeks time.Pagan Handfasting Photography

    Priory Hall Wedding Photography for Victoria and Sam

    It was lovely to be back for a Priory Hall Wedding Photography at this wonderful Wedding Venue in Hadleigh, Suffolk. This was for the Wedding of Victoria and Sam. Our day started at the home of Victoria’s Parents, where Victoria and her Bridesmaids were getting ready.  Arriving at the house all was relaxed although busy with all the preparations. After taking a few details and getting ready shots,  the Bridesmaids got dressed followed by Victoria who was  assisted by her sister and Mum. Rain was in the air so we didn’t venture outside so instead made use of the Conservatory and took some Bridal Portraits of Victoria, who looked amazing, in the Lounge.

    Priory Hall Wedding PhotographySt Mary’s Church, Woolpit, was where Victoria and Sam were to be married so when it was time we left for the short journey to the Church. Meeting up with Sam at the Church we took a couple of pictures of him and his Groomsmen in Church as it was now drizzling.  The brollies made the first appearance of the day when the Bridesmaids arrived with the Ushers doing a wonderful job in keeping them dry! As Victoria arrived, the drizzle had stopped, so taking her Father’s arm she followed the path and into the Church. During the service we kept a eye on the weather outside, although we had Plan B lined up if the weather did it’s worst! After the service instead of going outside when they came down the aisle, Victoria and Sam stayed in the Church, ready for Plan B! Having earmarked our spot for the family groups we got on with the requested pictures. Afterwards Victoria, Sam and their Guests made a quick dash to the cars for the journey to  Priory Hall.     The skies were brightening as we drew nearer to Priory Hall but the rain was still falling, so Victoria and Sam had their Reception drinks and canapés inside. As the Guests were socialising we took a couple of pictures upstairs and as Victoria and Sam re-joined their Guests the rain stopped. Making sure Victoria and Sam had their share of the drinks and canapés and socialised we got on with some fun group pictures followed by the confetti.  Priory Hall Wedding PhotographerThis worked really well and a little while later it was time for the Wedding Breakfast,which was held in the Marquee. Victoria and Sam wanted  a couple of pictures in the maze and  it worked well  to take these in between their Starter and Main Meal. The Speeches provided some great reactions, caught of course! Once these were finished everybody made their way back into Priory Hall for the evening celebrations.Recommended Wedding Photographer Priory Hall A few evening pictures were taken later together with capturing images of the First Dance. A couple of night shots ended our coverage of Victoria and Sam’s Wedding Day. A wonderful day and a lovely couple!

    It had been a while since Emily and Gareth had booked their Wedding Photography with us and their Wedding was fast approaching! We managed to get together one evening and fill in the gaps about their wedding day, the usual who, what where, when, information!  Once the Wedding details were sorted we went to take a few pictures on a local footpath. Emily and Gareth are getting married at Gosfield Hall soon. The Engagement session helps our couples fell more comfortable when we come to take the important wedding pictures!

    Annette and Jason visited us one evening recently to go over the details of their forthcoming Wedding at Spains Hall. After a chat we went to our local River Walk to take a few pictures of them. We include the pre-wedding picture as a way to get to know our clients a little better before the big day and for them to feel more comfortable with us on the day.

    Wow! What a day for Kew Gardens Engagement Photos and a meeting! Brilliant weather and a lovely couple! This date had been saved in the Diary and we were all looking forward to it.  Kew Gardens was the perfect venue chosen by Collette and Tim. They have  booked our top wedding package, which includes an ‘on location’ shoot and this worked well with us, we needing a break, away from our busy schedule.  We were not disappointed! The best day of the weekend together with the best weather. We enjoyed our lunch, getting to know the happy couple better and are so looking forward to their Wedding at Orsett Hall.

    It was a cool but dry day for Kira and Callum’s Wedding at Gaynes Park. Kira and the girls were getting ready in the Apple Loft cottage when we arrived  and the preparations were in full swing.  Whilst these were going on we took a few pictures of Callum and his Groomsmen before they greeted the Guests.Gaynes Park Wedding Photographer A horse and carriage had been arranged for Kira so once all the girls were dressed and a few pictures taken, Kira accompanied by her Father went for a short ride before the Ceremony.  The Ceremony was held in the Gaynes Park Orangery and with all the Guests seated it was time for Kira, taking her Father’s arm to make the walk into the Ceremony. After the Ceremony after having some time to socialise with their Guests we took a few requested classic family photographs.  Despite Kira and Callum’s children, Brogan and Freya, being a little under the weather we managed to get a couple of pictures of the whole family.

    During the Reception everybody was treated to a plentiful selection of canapés and drinks whilst socialising. During the afternoon Kira and Callum together with their children and a few other children went for a ride in the horse and carriage, whilst we continued with capturing some informal pictures. Later we managed to take Kira and Callum for a few pictures of them, together.  Toasts and the cutting of the Wedding Cake followed a little later. Essex Wedding PhotographerBrogan and Freya had been asleep for a little while so once they had woken up we were able to finish the coverage of  Kira and Callum’s Wedding with a picture of the four of them under the Gazebo.

    Recently we arranged to meet Lindsay and Shane for their Engagement Picture Session at Hylands Park, Chelmsford.  The sun was shining so we decided to go and take some pictures first then have a chat about their Wedding Day at Fennes which is soon.
