The wedding of Lucy & Huw was held at Boreham House, Chelmsford, Essex, on a pleasant summer’s day. Making the most of the stunning venue was on the agenda for both Lucy & Huw as well as ourselves and together we achieved some beautiful photographs.

Debbie & Ian were married in St Nicolas Church, Witham, Essex. A great fun and very relaxed wedding. A surprise was arranged for them for a helicopter flight from Rivenhall Oaks Golf Club to Braxted Park for the reception. I seemed to be the only ‘volunteer’ for the spare seat in the helicopter so managed to take some inflight shots as we travelled across the Essex Countryside – thanks Debbie & Ian for allowing me along!! Braxted Park provided the usual beautiful grounds for some photographs, sadly the evening rain prevented any pictures with the outside illuminations.
Sarah & Kevin chose St Peter’s Church, Braintree, Essex for their wedding which was followed by a reception at Bocking Village Hall. We photographed the families in the Churchyard but took Sarah & Kevin into Braintree Public Gardens for a few portraits of themselves.
St. Mary’s Rivenhall was Sarah & Dan’s choice of church to be married in. Their reception was held at Five Lakes Hotel. After photographing Sarah & Dan throughout the day, they were still up for creating some different pictures in the evening. The weather had been kind to us during the day ending with a nice sunset.
Carly & Kieren were married at St. Mary’s, Langham, followed by a Reception at Westwood Park, Colchester, Essex. It was a beautiful summer’s day and we were spoilt for choice photographing Carly & Kieren at the various locations around the venue. It was our first visit to Westwood Park, the first of many more we hope!
Donna & George had to dodge the summer showers for their wedding photography and not ones to miss an opportunity that left us creating a few extra pictures for them while they waited in church. The church was St Barnabas at Mayland, Essex and was ‘full to the rafters’ with Donna & George’s guests. The Reception was held in a lined barn at Wrekin Farm. The caterers mistakenly thought the Wedding Breakfast was at 4.0 not 5.0pm, however in our usual manor we re-arranged our schedule to accomodate them – thankfully the weather held during the meal and allowed us to create some lovley pictures later in the day!
We were delighted to donate our services to cover the presentations for The Witham in Bloom Educational Awards. The presentations were made by Brooks Newmark MP and Barry Fleet Mayor of Witham. The pictures will be on dispaly in Witham Public Library.
Joanne & Paul were married at The Church of the Immaculate Conception in Epping Essex and followed with a Reception at Parklands, Quendon, Essex. Parklands was the setting for most of the family photographs and the relaxed and formal Bride & Groom portraits. Parklands is another venue with more places to take pictures than we ever have time for, which is why we enjoy working there.
Jane & Alan selected Greenwoods Hotel in Stock, Essex for their Civil Ceremony. Being a hot day the ceremony took place under the gazebo in the fabulous gardens. This was our first wedding at Greenwoods and hopefully it will not be our last!! A new section will appear on our galleries once Jane & Alan have returned from Honeymoon!
Today Sandra and I went to the park with Kimberley and her friends who all wanted to have some fun pictures at the end of their school years, but different to the school Prom or the standard school pictures they have had for the last 11 years! We are always happy to work with our clients who have ideas of what they want. What great fun to work with such a nice group!
Thank you girls!!
