My review of Leica M EV1 will be fairly short after my 2 hour trial from Leica store Mayfair. (Lovely helpful people at Leica Mayfair)
I wanted to try and see if M EV1 added anything particularly shooting longer or wider lenses and if it would be worth buying maybe as a second camera.
In no particular order:-
Good
Shutter sound
Weight of body
Focusing wide open
General feel just holding it!
Not so good
Shooting anything other than wide open
Focus on moving subjects
Frame line effect in cropped mode, would prefer just what I cropped to.
Conclusion
Undoubtedly having the camera for longer some of the negatives would be lessened. I liked using the M EV1 but I felt it did not add enough over my M11-P .
