Who would want a Leica M as a Landscape camera? Not weather resistant, expensive, no zoom lenses, no autofocus, limited exposure modes, only good for street and reportage!
Leica M cameras are reasonably light, reasonably small, with compact sharp lenses. All of this means smaller filters and smaller bags, so you don’t need a massive backpack. Should you require a tripod that also can be smaller! Weight may not be an issue for some people but it’s very easy to leave a heavy camera and pack at home. A Leica M with 3 lenses is likely to weigh less that a single DSLR body!

No autofocus? Who needs autofocus for landscapes! Landscapes are mostly shot a smaller apertures on wider lenses, ie huge depth of field. There is no need to scroll through menus to find the correct autofocus mode.

Is a Leica M camera right for everybody to use for landscapes? Probably not but I love mine.
Thumb grip. Back in the days of the M9 I had a thumb grip, make holding the camera more comfortable BUT it sticks into you when carrying. M10 I used ‘naked’ but the M11-P has a fantastic hand grip which not only makes the camera more comfortable in the hand but also includes Arca Swiss connection for the rare occasions I need it on the tripod.
